The worst dating site I've ever experienced!
I wasted $485 on this site. I still have 8-months of service available to me and I'm deleting my account. Ever profile I've interacted with is a fake profile. There is too much fraud on this site. Most of the contacts are well over 100 miles from me. Do yourself a favor and try something else!

Extremely deceptive practices
They told me I was paying $11.99 at 50% off and full price every month after that… they took $600 from my credit card. I can not afford this! Is there any way to get my money back?!?!?

Horrible!
Unfortunately if I could leave 0 stars I would! After reading on their terms and conditions that you would be issued a full refund if you cancelled within 14 days and did not use the app, I tried to cancel after 24 hours due to financial reasons. I was then charged £65 for "using" the services. I did not use the services at all, instead received an email from them, that they sent with a 'detailed psychological report' (a load of tosh if I'm honest). This is what they charged me for, and apparently this was me "using the app". Terms and conditions completely contradicts what they do. So many loop holes to get money out of you. Really wouldn't recommend. Feels horrible to have a multi million dollar company steal money from you.

Worst dating site ever suck of time and money!
I went through all of my matches within one hour of being on this app. The app suggested that I change my preferences, which is absolutely not an option after filling out the very detailed and time-consuming questionnaire that's what I spent my money on for them to find my perfect match not for me to have to change my preferences. I emailed eHarmony the day. I joined and asked them to refund my money based on the fact that there were no suitable matches, they refused worst site ever don't waste your money.

Zero stars
I did my best to give eHarmony a chance after they refused my request for a refund—twice. I completely opened my preferences. No eliminations. Welcome all. I have been on two other dating sites before with far better results. Lots of likes, a reasonable amount of dates, and some that lasted several dates.

Not true of this one. The deal breaker is that virtually all candidates are more than 150 miles from me. Too many have no profile photo, and no, I'm not going to ask for one because a man who can't or won't post a photo has an irredeemable flaw. Plus that's not my job. It's eHarmony's responsibility.

I've had very few profile views, and that's not because I'm a hag. On their competitors' sites I have attracted a lot of attention- and not eHarmony's inappropriate likes from 25 year olds. I won't even go into the poor quality of available matches.

This site has been a huge disappointment and a waste of my time as well as my money. I gave them an opportunity to show that I'm wrong and I'm not. EHarmony is tantamount to a scam in that it's so poorly executed and managed.

Today I asked again for them to cancel this disgrace of a membership and any remaining fees. My expectations are low, in line with my experience thus far.

Stay away
I signed up for basic to see matches. It kept pushing to fill out everything and even pick a plan and ask for card info. Whole time I'm assuming they allow you to pick matches and decide to not move forward. I had 2 matches decided not to move forward and said too bad you picked a premium plan and paid. I had no intention of mo if forward till I saw my matches as they advertise and they just didn't care. Total scam.

It's been a month in no hits. I don't believe there's any point in this. It was a waste of money and I'm sorry I did it. Beware beware beware

Slow app
This app is so slow, won’t let you open messages until you get out of the app and completely re-open it and then it lets you open messages. Won’t let you remove messages and delete them if you don’t want to continue the conversation with your match. It’s quite annoying

SCAM
Don’t make the same mistake I did. You pay an insane about of money and when you realize it’s a terrible platform you can’t cancel. They say you can “cancel membership” but that’s only for renewal the will continue to take your money -you can “delete” your account is your only option- so while you don’t have access to your account they continue to collect your money on services they are not providing.

Beware
Ratio of 4:1 scam artists. I report several per day. Some are legit people most are attempting to pull you from the app to other untraceable apps like signal. No shame in their game either. Be very careful and vet them enormously. And if it’s too good to be true, they are likely a scam artist.

Fake accounts galore beware!
I was recommended to eharmony from a friend who was on it years again and claimed it was the realest site because it was the most expensive to subscribe to. I signed up, paid the high amount for 3 months, and got scammed one after the next with fake accounts. You are given only a limited number of “unlocks” with your subscription per month and when a fake account contacts you and shows interest you must use and unlock to connect and chat. I would unlock a chat then eharmony would remove the fake account and send me an email telling me they did so but not give me back and credits for my used unlocks. I wrote to email customer care and they ignored me. I highly recommend avoiding this money trap called eharmony. Full of scammers, super expensive, and customer service could care less to even respond much less do the right thing.

Doesn’t make sense
You say you are here to match people, but you don’t even believe in your product. Your shortest option for paid use is 6 months and for the best monthly rate we have to pay for two YEARS? I guess you just want people to perpetually date and not pair off.

Eharmony is the bane of my existence
You’re not allowed to see photos unless you pay and when you do pay, I takes a year worth of your money instead of just billing me for the month. And then when I’m trying to delete my account, I can’t because I have to wait till my subscription ends in a year. I asked for a refund so hopefully they’ll give me one and delete my account. F this app.

Not this app
If you are looking for something real, try something else. A lot of spam messages and just spam profiles. Some of them don’t even have a profile picture!

Don’t waste your money!
You see the commercials and you pay the EXORBITANT amount of money and it’s all lies! The only 3 women who have actually messaged me are foreign who as you to use the “telegram” app and then ask you, “Do you AI trade or trade with BTC?!” I am extremely dissatisfied and expected better!

eHarmony is a total scam. Their algorithms are not unmatched. They are marginal at best. The service they provide is possibly additional customer service help, but in my case where I tried it for one day and did not like the algorithm selection of potential matches I tried to cancel the membership in under 24 hours and they refused to credit me back anything… A responsible business would’ve at least prorated the account and perhaps charged for the first month of membership. Buyers beware. Their practice is probably at best quasilegal and they definitely engage in deceptive marketing practices!

Require photos!! Went from best to worse
What happened to the Eharmony that was all about finding that special someone that truly matched with you? I truly think they are just letting this app die. I first used Eharmony as a website in 2005, left it, came back around 2010. Then as an app from 2017 and I quit about 2019, then back again 2022, It hasn’t gotten much better since. I can’t believe in 2024 they still don’t require a photo on a profile or have photo verification. Even Tinder has this! In 2005 when it was on the web not an app and it was hard for people to upload a photo I can understand no photos. But it’s almost 2025 and everyone has a phone with a camera! It’s unbelievable and why there are so many scammers on here now. Pretty much every new match I get is a scammer who is blocked within a day. I’ve collected 10 in under a month. The last 3 even had similar names and some of the same photos! Whats sad is if they remove the scammers then no one would get any matches. So in a way they don’t want to remove them! The cost is ridiculous, they lock you into a year for a few hundred and the amount of matches are pitiful for the major metropolitan city I’m in. I read another reviewer say they employ over 200 people. Sure doesn’t seem like it, with all the scammers. All you need is some better coding and you could run it on 1/4 of that many people and a call center. I’ve been paying monthly for 2 years now and I’m done. @Eharmony I’m willing to pay for a quality product, but this is not it. Much better apps out there.
