Yes! The views are amazing and worth the price. Best adventure experience in Portland. The duration of the fly is perfect to enjoy the views and relax. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Best for group of 2-3 . The climate was perfect on the day we went, it would be best if planned during Summers.
Natasha was very sweet and provided us with a lot of information about the area and places to travel! We got to see beautiful views, would highly recommend.

It was an amazing 1 hour flight out to the gorge and back around over Portland. Our pilot Alden was very professional and very informative about where we flying and what we were seeing. I would definitely fly with them again the next time we are in Portland

My Pilot, JP, was a huge help. My flight was cancelled because of weather. He called me early and recommended a private flight in the building next door. I was able to book on the morning 2 hours before the flight!
I had 5 meeting scheduled that would have been canceled if he didn’t recommend another another plane.

Super awesome and feiendly people. I had a gift card that was expiring, they took iur request over text and made all arrangements. We went for the 2nd time and took some guests who had an amazing time. Highly recommend them.

Yes! You have the unique distinction of being more annoying and intrusive than all of the above combined.
As far a Life Flight goes, in 49 years I have never noticed them, especially flying low up and down the gorge. Also, I welcome any life saving personnel, regardless of now noisy they are, to intrude on my space as they see fit. They could land in my front yard at 3am for all I care. I am sure having to worry about tourist flights does not make their job any easier.
Please think about how you spend your money, and how it affects the others around you.
Now, close your eyes and imagine you are in the Gorge, on a clifftop. The air is cool, clean, and refreshing. You think about what an amazing and special place this is as the wind rustles through the pine scented trees, and the sound of waterfalls engulf your senses. Oh no. Wait. Your senses are picking up on something different. Something buzzy an irritating. You are no longer soothed, relaxed, and happy. Your body tenses and teeth clench as you move your head around in a subconscious effort to get away from this invader. You look to the east over the Columbia and for a moment things are better, but that moment is fleeting as the invader bursts back into you senses. As you look out over the river, focusing on the view (in an effort to distract your self from the noise), you see a large object that does not belong, like a giant brightly colored noisy metal mosquito on a path of destruction. Unfortunately, hundreds of others are having the same experience as you, day after day, month after month, and on and on. This is becoming the new Gorge experience, thanks to companies putting profits above people, and the sustainability and protection of natural resources.
Please think about what makes the Gorge, and the pacific northwest special to people. You have a choice in where you spend your money and what you want to support.

Does this apply to the mile long freight trains that use the railroads through the Gorge; the 45,000 cars and semi trucks traveling east and west bound on I-84 everyday; the 3,000 cars driving on the Historic Highway bringing thousands of people to visit and hike the waterfalls and trails of the Gorge; the Life Flight helicopters that frequently use the Gorge; air traffic going to and from PDX; or only us?

Our pilot, J.P., was awesome! We had a great flight, amazing views and take off and landing were as smooth as butter. Highly recommend and would definitely book a flight again.

My experience with Envi was absolutely incredible, thanks to my amazing pilot, Andrew! He is professional, friendly, and he made me feel safe and comfortable the entire flight.
I chose the Quicksand Triangle experience and the views were stunning! I was able to see Mount Hood, Mount Adams, and a little bit of Mount Rainier. I was also able to see various waterfalls as well. This was truly an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend flying with Envi, thank you again to Andrew for making it fun.
