These are amazing people doing amazing work. Wes is a shining example of how people should treat their patients. Someone who legitimately cares and you are not just a number to him. With amazing support staff to boot.

I am not happy with the fact that my hearing aid will have to be returned after four years. It would be more beneficial for me if it was for five years because HNSA subsidizes part of the cost every fives years. If I need to renew my hearing aid after four years I cannot use the HMSA subsidy. The service has been good but the 4 year contract is not to my satisfaction.

I was having a problem with my hearing aid when I went to Family Hearing Aid Center. After talking to Dr Wes for a couple of minutes he understood my problem and fixed my hearing aid. It only took a couple of minutes to fix my hearing aid. Quick and easy and at no cost. Quick and easy describes all my interactions with Family Hearing Aid Center. Not only that but they have great customer service and the staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable and professional in their dealings with patients. It’s really impossible for me to have ANY negative comments or experiences to relate to you because Family Hearing Aid Center is simply the best. And like their name states you are and do feel like family at Family Hearing Aid Center. I do not work for nor do I receive any compensation from Family Hearing Aid Center. All statements are my own.

Dr Wes was awesome!!! Very patient and thorough in explaining what was going on with my hearing. And he helped me understand my options. I'm recommending him to all my family and friends. UPDATE: Went back for a follow up and Dr Wes was terrific again. Super positive and a good listener. He adjusted my hearing aid to the next step in my transition and the sounds are coming in very clear and crisp. It's so amazing that I can hear sounds I took for granted, water flowing in the sink and rustling of leaves outside. The best part is I can hear people's voices that I struggled with before. I can join the conversations I was missing with my family and friends. Dr Wes and Summer are the BEST medical team!!! I'm looking forward to my next visit!!! UPDATE #2: Went back for another follow up and Ms. Summer and Dr. Wes were awesome as usual. Super friendly and caring. Dr. Wes asked about my cat that had surgery recently. You feel like part of a family!!! During the visit Dr Wes cleaned my hearing aid and updated the programs. The personalized service is top notch!!! I'm still recommending my family & friends to the Family Hearing Aid Ctr!!! UPDATE #3: Ever wonder how already great service can get better? Went in for another check up and mentioned I was having some minor issue with my left hearing aid. Dr Wes checked it out and will be sending both hearing aids to get adjusted. In the meantime he gave me a brand new pair as "loaner" hearing aids. And then he synch'd the new devices to my cell phone. He then asked if I wanted to do a cognitive test which is totally awesome. I'm 65 years old and this would be a great baseline for comparing my brain function as I age. I am so impressed that The Family Hearing Ctr has the latest technology to help us learn even more about our total health. Thank you Dr Wes!!! Update #4: Just went in for a August 2023 check up and had a wonderful experience. Dr Wes is such a terrific hearing specialist with an engaging personality. You feel comfortable from the moment he greets you. And its more like visiting my brother at home instead for a medical check up. Great advice on ways to protect my existing hearing and fine tuning my hearing aid. It's like an investment into my hearing health and long term brain health. Well worth every penny and I've been recommending Family Hearing Center to all my friends and family!!! 5 Stars and more!!! Update #5: Went in for a Sept 2024 check up. As usual Dr Wes was terrific at listening to my concerns and walking me through options like he was my brother. He is a great listener and shows that he cares about me as a person. I've been recommending him to so many of my family and friends!!

I’ve worn Phonak, Oticon, Starkey and Bernafon hearing aids for almost 30 years utilizing Tripler, Costco and Wes Nakamura at Family Hearing Center. Without a doubt Wes is the most knowledgeable person I've encountered in this field. I had previously purchased Costco Bernafon but after 4 years needed repairs and was informed that the company NO LONGER SERVICED my hearing aids because they were too old! (A new model had come out right AFTER my Costco purchase.) Wait! What would have happened if this philosophy of repair and maintenance were applied to my 2013 Prius? Not being able to repair my hearing aid left me with a months long wait until my medical insurance would cover a purchase of new ones or I could pay the full cost. AUWE! For a hearing impaired person, not having hearing aids is a major disaster in life. Imagine not having your prescription eyeglasses. After a chance meeting with a friend, Wes Nakamura's name was given to me. I went to him and was fully prepared to make a purchase but Wes advised me that a new model was due in a couple of months. So guess what happened? He LOANED me a pair so I could hear now and wait to purchase the new model! Now THAT IS WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Anybody can sell you the hearing aid devices and get the commission but the proof of the pudding is in the on-going adjustments and follow-up servicing. Trust me when I say that Wes Nakamura is a real professional in his field. FYI: Wes also cleans ear wax and does hearing tests. He is right up there at the top of my list for hearing aid professionals.

Wes Nakamura is very professional knows his material and spent ample time explaining everything and fitting the hearing aids and teaching me about everything. He is technically excellent and very friendly. It’s very comforting having him fit me for the proper hearing aids.
