The smile on his face says it all!!
We spent the morning with Alec on the Blue River. My son & I were unexperienced at fly fishing, however Alec brought us up to speed quickly and we started slaying the rainbow trout!
What a fantastic experience, will most definitely do this again!

You have to see it to believe it! What an expertise!
We saw the fish jumping and started casting from our kayaks. No luck! An hour later, comes a pontoon, and the guys on it started netting the fish! Every two or three minutes one of them had a fish on! We complimented the guys on their luck, but it turned out it was NOT luck but professionalism! That is how we met Randy from Alpine Fishing Adventures! In the next 2 hours, we astonishingly watched the guys and a lady on the pontoon playfully cast and catch their limit of 10 kokanees per person, while my friend and I never had a bite! What mastery! We are signing up for the fishing lesson!

Great time! All other places weren't going out on the boat this late in October but Jeremy had us out catching fish. Very pleasant and willing to help. Our boys had a great time!

I visited Colorado for the first time and had an experience that I will never forget! There was a lot to do but my absolute favorite thing about the trip was going out on a guided fishing trip with Austin. We got to the boat which was ready to go, headed right out to his favorite spot and that was it...fish on! Can't wait to do it again!

We booked a morning guided fishing trip to introduce our two kids (7 and 11) to fishing. Our guide was Austin. He was on time and provided a thorough safety briefing and gave us a good background of the lake and different species of fish we would fishing for. The boat was clean and in great condition. Austin was an excellent guide and a great communicator. Our sons can be very involved when learning a new activity. Austin was patient, attentive, and did a great job teaching our sons the basics. We quickly caught a rainbow and were skunked after that, but Austin did a great job trying to keep us on the fish. We had a great experience and highly recommend alpine fishing adventures.

Alpine Fishing Adventures was everything we could have hoped for. We were not only looking to catch some fish, but actually learn the basics as well. Randy kept a keen eye on all our rods while getting new bait and lures ready. I highly recommend Alpine Fishing Adventures for your next fishing trip.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
This should be referred to as 4 hours on the lake killing time. Our guide, Jeremy, never made any serious attempt to catch fish. We were given a rod with a spoon lure as we left the dock and told to bounce the lure up and down in the water over the side of the boat. Since we were not catching anything, we asked about changing lures and technique and were told by Jeremy the spoon lures and jigging technique was the best. When we offered to use lures we brought he said no. We wondered whether he knew how to tie on the lures. During the entire 4 hours he never changed a lure. We arrived back at the dock 4 hours later with the same rods and lures and no fish. The guide talked about all the fish he has caught, between his constant complaining about everything in general, but we saw no evidence that he had any fishing expertise. The lake and the scenery are beautiful with several pontoon boat rental agencies.

A fantastic experience! We had my 7 and 2.5 year olds and they had a blast. Austin was a great captain. Even had a tackle box full of toys for the younger one. Excellent value for the money!! We even caught 6 fish and were able to take 3 rainbow trout home to eat. Can't recommend this experience enough!

We had an amazing time with our three kids (2, 4 & 6) for a 3 hr trip with Austin! He was so knowledgeable, wonderful with kids and super helpful to try and get us as many fish as possible during our visit! The kids (and parents!) thoroughly enjoyed it!
