Asked them for a quote, sent their guy that took measurements and said they will send an email the next day. After called 3 times and waited for 1 whole week still no answer. Very unprofessional.

Broken promises No communication - went into store, made phone calls and sent emails. Over a month to hear anything Had to make a formal complaint and then their promises changed from yes we can do the job to no we can't. Now left with a hole in my flooring.

Took them from November through to March to do a small carpet laying job on our enclosed decking and they still have not completed the Job. I had to get another Carpet firm who said they would have supplied the carpet and do e the job for half the price of Flooring Xtra. My rating for the service -10 My rating for communication -5 My rating for workmen ship -10. I advise anyone who is going to use flooring Xtra Cranbourne Don't.

This review is a long time coming, so at least we've had time to experience the job over time. They did our carpet in our new house back in march 2023. The salesman at the store was brilliant. He clearly knew what he was talking about and made it easy for us to understand and choose. When he came out for a quote he brought ample samples for us and to this day, it's because of this service we are still over the moon with our choice. We did pay a lot for our carpet, we wanted something a bit over the top, and the bill showed. So many family and friends kept telling us we're stupid, 'we had ours done for a quarter of that price' etc. We ignored them and we're grateful! We got our moneys worth, and this is because of the advice the salesman gave us. Everyone else's carpet is TERRIBLE compared to ours. I do enjoy (secretly) going to these family and friends houses and taking my shoes off and feeling all proud knowing what ours is like. Moral of this story, you get what you pay for. There are a few reviews saying these guys aren't cheap. No they're not, they're normal! The others are ripping you off with bad advice and quality. Thanks guys. This is our first house we've bought, and the carpet is very much the centre piece of it.

We recently paid a premium to get floating flooring at our home , the sales staff at store seemed great so we didn’t mind paying the extra and getting the service. Well it stopped at the store . We came home to look at the boards and noticed the green glue all over our brand new kitchen , I called they tried to say they’re didn’t use green glue ( the only trade there ) then got back to me and said they would have to send a painter . A few weeks later a board had moved, back again to fix. Now a few months down the track more boards have moved and I can’t get a call back or any service . I wrote an email and attached pictures , I followed up with a call and was promised a call from management , nothing . Called again today and was told someone was working who didn’t know what to do but expect a call from management… still nothing . If this is our flooring after a few months we are worried to see what it will look like after a few years . To spend around $10k for floating flooring in the living, hall , kitchen and dinning room you would expect it to look great for more than a few weeks !

What happened to a professional trades person? Had Carpets installed today (which look alright) however a complete and utter mess was left by the installers. Carpet cuttings all over the new installed carpet and into surrounding rooms. Installers had my partner sign a review form which mentioned cleanliness! What a joke. My partner looking after a new born then had to spend 2 hours cleaning the room! Called to speak with company and question the clean up effort, was told I would get a call back. Never happened. Not professional at all.

We have just had new hybrid flooring installed throughout the house and are very happy with it .The whole process from start to finish from Cranbourne flooring Xtra was stress free .The installers were very reliable and professional ,taking a lot of pride in their work. Excellent. Very quick to finish and respectful workers too..I thought that floor will not be finished till Saturday but Friday mid day everything is done perfectly. Now I can celebrate my birthday tomorrow with my new floor boards. Thank you and cuddos to the two young traidie who did the job well.

As we wanted to replace all our carpeted rooms with hybrid flooring. James visited our home and was very prompt, efficient and knowledgeable and the process was very efficient. The carpet and vinyl layer was very through and efficient too as the flooring that was replaced was very neat and tidy. The communication between everyone was great! We had just bought a house and were looking to replace the disgusting, old carpet with some hybrid flooring. We visited Flooring Xtra in Cranbourne, and James was so helpful and knowledgable. He took the time to help us choose the right flooring in the shop. We narrowed it down to 3 options. James then arranged to meet us at the house at a time convenient for us, and brought the 3 samples we liked so we could see them in the house. We were very relieved that James was able to schedule the installation within our timeframe (we had 4 weeks before we moved in). Throughout the whole process James was professional and approachable. Our new flooring looks great! We would definitely recommend Flooring Xtra in Cranbourne to friends and family. Thank you for all your help James.
