We just adopted two adorable kittens from Forever Fortunate Felines! What a terrific group. They coordinate vaccines and fosters and medical care and work through volunteers to get these cats and kittens to loving homes. We had a very good experience and highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience with FFF! We are so excited to welcome our new family member Storm to her forever home! Everyone we came in contact with during the process was extremely kind and helpful. Shoutout to Sarah Presnak and Linzie Guzman for all of their hard work and for helping us find our new furbaby! I will definitely recommend FFF in the future.

Adopted two kitties from FFF. Love that they send update emails from application receipt and review to adoption follow-ups. All the foster parents I met at the pop up events were nice, caring people. Definitely a rescue / 501c3 to support. Bonus that they seem to pull from CACC a lot - that's how I discovered them! Hopefully, our next (and final) kitty will come, too, by way of FFF!

We were recommended FFF by a friend! The application process was smooth and thorough. As first time cat owners, we were given a lot of helpful advice and encouragement. Highly recommend!

Don't waste your time!! You could probably honestly adopt a kitten quicker through the natural cat distribution system or even just by randomly finding a stray kitten outdoors! I didn't understand why there were 3-month-old kittens that had been penned up inside the little plexiglass cubicles at my local Petco for nearly a MONTH until I TRIED to adopt one! All of the rescues are through foster families and some of the foster families are RIDICULOUSLY STRICT with their rules, regulations, & protocols. Then, even when you play by all of their rules, & jump through all of their flaming hoops - they still procrastinate, take their sweet time, and majorly stall on approving you to bring home a kitten. Most people want to adopt kittens because of their young age & size! Well, it's been going on 3 weeks now already, not including the near month that the kitten was being held captive in the tiny plexiglass cubicle at the pet store, & I STILL have not been approved! I have 3 other cats at home and they wanted ALL of my STRICTLY INDOOR cats (including my 2 seniors that seem to get sick if you even look at them the wrong way) to be up to date on things like the cat flu shot šŸ™„! I'm a registered nurse for humans & I don't even believe, buy into, and/or subscribe to human flu shots šŸ˜¬ So then they 'appeared' to make a compromise and tell me that just my youngest (3 y.o.) could go to the vet & get updated on all of his nonsense shots, & as long as I had a future appt set up for check-ups for my 2 seniors...that would be sufficient & acceptable enough to move fwd with the adoption process under those terms. So I complied with their request and I took my 3 y.o. to the vet on Saturday. I paid $350 for them to basically tell me he has some "mild dental tartar" (don't we all šŸ˜…), & so that he could also get some bogus shots (that I don't personally believe strictly indoor cats even need)! Lo and behold, and just like I knew would be the case, the shots even made my 3 y.o. become under the weather! My 3 y.o. is super healthy & vibrant too, so if those shots affected him in such an adverse way...imagine what they are going to do to my 14 & 15 y.o. seniors! He threw up in his brand new Cattasaurus šŸ˜¤ and has been sneezing & super lethargic ever since Saturday when he got those shots!! šŸ˜” And guess what...that was Saturday and now today is already Wednesday & I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY REGARDING THE ADOPTION!! SO I QUIT!! They truly lost out on & forfeited providing a wonderful forever home to a kitten that would have been beyond spoiled by me! They would rather see young kittens grow up in tiny plexiglass cubicles, I guess šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø!! Literally anybody that knows me, knows that I treat my animals like gold & spoil them rotten. I actually treat EVERYONE'S animals that way, not just my own. My own house isn't even furnished for me and/or my benefit/comfort...it's furnished to accommodate, entertain, and provide ultimate levels of comfort for my cats! NO JOKE! Sorry, not sorry, FFF...YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE! āŒ›ļø I will just try to adopt a super young kitten through Fur Keeps {AGAIN}. That's where I got my 3 y.o. in December of 2021, & the adoption process was a breeze. I was even able to bring my kitten home the very next day!! Over 3 weeks didn't lapse, I didn't have to jump through a bunch of flaming hoops, and I didn't have to spend a bunch of unnecessary time, money, and stress taking my existing (especially my senior) felines to the vet to make them sick with bologna shots that should only be a requirement for kittens IMHO!! And now that I gave them an unsavory Google review that's definitely not favorable, watch as the foster family will now all of the sudden and almost magically try to pretend to have respect for my time!! I really thought that it was meant to be, and that the new kitten would've made a wonderful playmate for my 3 y.o.- considering that the kitten's name was also Jackie (just like my own). I wouldn't have even had to change her name as she would've just become "Jackie Jr," but oh well!!

Hi Jackie, The foster mom volunteer recently changed phones and was not getting her messages. I was able to contact her and she is now trying to reach out to you to move forward with your adoption of Jackie! Very sorry for the misunderstanding that resulted from the foster mom changing phones / not getting messages. We did ask you to bring your resident cats to a vet prior to the adoption as they had not been to a vet for 7 years, so they could get updated vaccines and their annual checkup. And once that was completed, we approved your application. As for the cost as we see you mentioned having to spend $350 on your existing cats above, please plan to spend around $1600 annually on each cat that you own including medical care and food. This amount will increase as your cat gets older and may require more extensive medical care or prescription food diets. With warm regards, Andy

If I could give more than five stars I would! I had the privilege of adopting my new little kitty baby today. Some may think that the adoption process is a little long and time-consuming but honestly, I was very happy that it was, it made me feel comfortable that they donā€™t just give their babies to any one. I am great full of his foster parents for taking great care of him and he is is great hands from here on out!

I had an amazing time working with forever fortunate felines. The adoption process may seem long, but it is very worth it. You know that your baby is going into a good home. Iā€™m thankful for the foster family that I got my cat from and I know theyā€™re gonna miss him, but he is in great hands and I canā€™t wait for him to enjoy his forever home And start playing with his new big kitty brother

I had a great experience adopting with Forever Fortunate Felines! My adoption application was reviewed very fast, and my adoption coordinator volunteer Kate was absolutely wonderful and fast at responding. Although the adoption process is a bit more involved than other adoption agencies are, I like that fact since I can truly tell that they care about the cats they adopt about and care about throughly screening potential adopters. Piperā€™s foster mom was also absolutely lovely and accommodating. I had time conflicts with the original adoption date and they were both very nice throughout the process and were understanding but warned me that if another suitable adopter came around, she wouldnā€™t be ā€œput on holdā€ for me, which I understand wholeheartedly. I will definitely choose FFF again if I want to adopt another cat, and recommend it for anyone looking to adopt! Everyone involved in the process is kind and considerate and you can tell they genuinely care :)

We had an amazing experience with FFF. The volunteers and fosters were amazing to work with and we were so thankful to see the care and love they put into their work with these Forever Fortunate Felines ā¤ļø the kitten we were able to find and add to our family was exactly who we needed. He is thriving and giving us all the love and cuddles we have been looking for! We heard about FFF through a previous adopter, and have already recommended them to our friends as a place to look for their future felines.

The people who volunteer with this rescue are kind and responsive. The foster of my kitty is such an angel with a special heart for caring for animals. The process is thorough, which has made me feel comfortable in the decision since all the bases are covered!

Great organization to adopt a cat from! I adopted Ellie and they were very kind, thorough, and timely with all steps of the adoption process. They really make sure that the kitten/cat is going to a good home byrequiring references and landlord approval! I strongly recommend FFF :)

I can't say enough good things about how awesome FFF is!!! Lori helped me to find and adopt Gary, and he is a perfect match for me. The process was very smooth, and Lori was extremely communicative and helpful the entire time. I filled out the application on a Monday evening and had my little Garebear home with me by Friday! I am so happy!

Very happy with our experience with FFF. From the research stage up to adoption, it was a smooth process. Their website is very detailed regarding the available cats and regarding the process for adoption. Everyone was super friendly from the volunteers, to the staff, to the foster parents. You can really tell they care about these cats and want the best for them. It is also very apparent that they care about them even after adoption. Highly suggest FFF if you are looking to adopt a cat, to foster, or even to volunteer.

We had a wonderful experience with FFF. Their website is very detailed on the process and what to expect. After finding a couple of kitties we were interested in the process was very smooth. The volunteers working with them care a lot about these cats and it shows. The foster parent we worked with was also super friendly and you could also tell that she cared deeply for these kitties and cared about who they were adopted to. There was a small bump in the adoption process but they handled it so well and went out of their way to keep it on track. We would absolutely suggest them for anyone who is looking to adopt, looking to foster, or looking to volunteer.
