If you’re visiting, I’d 100% recommend Koloman if you’re looking for a French restaurant. The food and service was some of the best I’ve had in the world, and it wasn’t impossible to get a reservation. Here, the food was just ok, overpriced, and the servers were not friendly, with other waitstaff grabbing food and wine immediately, when I wasn’t even finished. The pate tasted like something I got at a grocery store ($28 here!). It’s easy to see why Koloman made the top 100 NYT list but not this place, unfortunately.

Had the steak, the sauce was really good but not the best meat for the price point. My partner had the sea bass and said it was also very average. We also had to have the bartender remake a drink that tasted like it was missing several ingredients. For the price we paid, the food and drinks must be better! Restaurant is very cute though!

11.15.24, Friday. 4:30PM. Second time. Ordered: Rosé Piscine (Spritz), Market Fresh (vermouth highball) Paid: $49 + Tip Bartenders were great. Drinks were amazing. Atmosphere is great. Very upscale and classy. Would possibly come again - but for special occasions only.

A wonderful dinning experience. You MUST order the Raviolo Bigusto -- it's excellent.

The food, service, and vibe are all good! As a huge fan of their baguette, I always wanted to come here. My quiche was flavorful. I’d love to come again to try other signature menus!

Great local french restaurant, always busy. Duck frites is one of their signature dishes and I can see why. The duck was cooked perfectly - nice seasoning blend with some cardamom, cinnamon cues. Reminded me a tiny bit of an Asian seven spice blend. The halibut was cooked very well and had a nice accompaniment with the beurre rouge. The onion tarte appetizer with bone marrow was good though a little slice as a starter. The pistachio dessert (Paris brest choux) was delicieux! Would come back for 3 of those next time.

Delicious food and drinks! I sat at the bar with some friends and Johnathan gave us great recommendations. The razor clams, gnocchi (made vegetarian!), and roasted carrots were my favorite but everything we tried was tasty.

@lydieats 💕 There needs to be more duck dishes around the city. We were so excited bc sometimes they don’t have it. Frenchette is a super romantic & cozy spot (rly tight tables) with classic French dishes. Def a date night spot. If the duck is on the menu, it should be on your table. Prepared slightly red - very French of them 🤭 Gets a bit gamey as it cools down. Perfect frites to dip into the béarnaise sauce. Tarte tatin is solid with good carmelized onion flavor and richness from the bone marrow. Kinda salty tho. I would pass on the fruit salad (probs a summer menu anyways) just bc it felt too simple for the price. Quartered peaches and tomatoes with bitter greens. BIG fan of the blueberry dessert. Served with SWEET CORN ice cream!!! 🙆‍♀️ You can tell they have a bakery bc the tarte dough is super flaky and yummy. Really classic and well executed bistro food, lentil mustard sauce was unique and delicious!
