I chose Gaby Clark Photography to take some last minute maternity photos and document my first pregnancy. The main reasons I went with Gaby Clark were the ease of setting up the initial communication, hair and makeup were included with the session, and the fact that she has a variety of fabrics/outfits/jewelry to choose from in-studio. When Gaby and I had our initial call, we discussed what was most important that we capture in my photo shoot. She also gave a basic run-down of pricing and what to expect during the session. When I told her that I was already 35 weeks pregnant, she was able to quickly schedule my in-person consultation that same week & photoshoot the following week. At the consultation, I brought along some saved photos that I liked and we discussed my preferred style of photography in terms of lighting and poses. I could tell that Gaby was a kind and genuine person, as well as very passionate about her craft. She made me feel that I made the right choice in photographers even before we had the actual session. The day of the shoot, I felt like I was being so pampered with makeup, hair, and a couple of alcohol-free mimosas :). The hair/makeup was exactly what I wanted and I feel that the professionals Gaby works with really know what they're doing as well. Gaby allowed me to play my own music in the studio, which really helped me to relax and enjoy the experience! She also directed me and my husband (who joined when he was able to take some time from work) to pose in exactly the way that made the photos look amazing! I also liked that she would show us the photos in the camera occasionally so we could see what we were doing and make adjustments on the spot. We both felt very comfortable and had so much fun! After the session, when Gaby and I sat down to review the photos, I was amazed at how many good pictures there were! She made me look like a pregnant model and the ones with my husband really captured the love we have for each other and our soon-to-arrive little one. It was soooo hard to choose from all of the awesome photos she took! I said all of that to say this: If you have any hesitation about choosing a photographer to take your maternity photos, choose Gaby Clark! She is a very kind and amazing person who is just as amazing behind the camera. You won't regret it!

When I went in yelp to look for a photographer to do our maternity photo shoot. I knew that she was the perfect photographer for us. I love her work already just by looking at the sample photos on her yelp account. Ms. Gaby was a God sent starting from minute we talked over the phone. She took time getting to know me and what I have in vision for. She listened to what I have in my mind, and made sure everything was covered. It's been a while since I did a professional photo shoot. She made me very comfortable during consultation and the day we did the photo shoot. She was very professional. Her team was amazing. Her makeup artist was so talented. When I asked her what I want for my hair and makeup she was on point. Our dog came with us. Ms. Gaby's assistant Claudia was so helpful on keeping our dog comfortable as well. Ms. Gaby's maternity package is perfect for me and my family. It's hassle and stress free. It's worth every penny. She put my vision into reality. Our photos came out so great with Ms. Gaby's guidance and expertise. She and her team works so hard. I can't thank her enough and I highly recommend her. We can't wait to do another session once our little bundle of joy arrives. I love the personal touch that she add in her studio to make you feel so special. Gaby is worthy of every five-star review you see here. I too was skeptical at so many rave reviews, but now having gone through the entire experience, I can wholeheartedly say she is fabulous, worth every penny, and an absolute professional at what she does. I was looking to take in-studio maternity photos near Los Gatos and filled out a few inquiry forms. Another photographer responded, gave available dates, and asked for a deposit. I put that session on my calendar and then Gaby called me. She took the time to get to know me, ask about my pregnancy journey, wanted to see a Pinterest board of pictures I liked, then asked to come over to see my belly. She said she likes to book sessions based on belly size, not by week of pregnancy because everyone grows at different rates. This level of personalization and thoughtfulness made me cancel my initial booking and go with Gaby. And I am so grateful this is how she works because when she saw me, she said my belly is already big and we should take the shoot next week. Much sooner than I thought - 24 weeks, but I am so so glad to have done photos earlier because now at 28 weeks, I feel swollen and way less attractive, and my initial booking with the other photographer wouldn't have been until week 32! A few highlights of my experience with Gaby: - Wardrobe consultation was extremely helpful and took the stress off me to figure out what to wear and how to match my husband. - In-studio hair and makeup were provided so it was one less thing to worry about day-of and book separately. Her artist is also sooo talented and did a great job. - Gaby provided a bottle of red wine for my husband while he waited for my hair and makeup. He LOVED it and had a blast drinking the bottle throughout the shoot. This and the little touches like robe and slippers, snacks, and drinks made our shoot so much more relaxed and enjoyable. - I thought my Pinterest board was just for inspiration. What surprised me was Gaby took the time and energy to basically recreate every picture and pose I liked. Setting up the shoot, lighting, everything. My husband and I are also not super comfortable in front of the camera and she was so patient directing us, fixing hair, and making adjustments. - We could not be happier with how our pictures turned out. Absolutely stunning. It was a long and tough journey for me to get pregnant, and I'm so grateful to have such beautiful pictures to remember this pregnancy by. I also really appreciated how responsive Gaby was, answering my millions of questions and providing a few retouched photos earlier so I could have them in time for my baby shower. She is the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Gaby for everything!!

Recently, we had the good fortune to book Gaby Clark for a second photo shoot some 12 years after the first! We loved the original newborn family shot and kept it as a centerpiece at our home for over a decade. We had always envisioned doing more family shots over the years, but somehow never got back around to it, so when we finally did, we were thrilled to find that Gaby was still in business and booked her right away. Not only has she expanded her business with valuable new services, but she also has a new and bigger studio with amazing lighting and special effects that can be worked into the photographs. We were pleased to see that Gaby's warm manner was still present, and we had a lot of fun with her during the prep discussions and meetings, and the photo shoot itself. We found that she is very flexible as well - we had to reschedule the photoshoot at one point due to illness, and Gaby was understanding and gracious throughout the entire process, making us feel very relaxed and comfortable. For our family session, she started us out by coming over to our house to look at the rooms where the photos would be. With our décor in mind, we discussed colors, textures and styles that would maximize our photographs. We also discussed what to wear for the photoshoot and were given some great recommendations including the option to select various outfits that she had available. As it turned out, my son and I went with her recommendations and purchased some great new clothes, and my wife found two wonderful dresses from her fashion closet! The final shoot was done both indoors and outdoors at her impressive studio in the beautiful Los Gatos mountains. The final icing on the cake for us was that her service also included framing and installing the pictures on the walls! This service cannot be overstated for us. While we would have had the best intentions, we know we wouldn't have gotten around to getting the wonderful pictures framed and hung for a while. Instead, it was all done for us. The pictures we selected were beautifully framed to our specifications and placed in our house with laser accuracy (literally), so we could immediately start enjoying them. We had a fabulous experience working with Gaby for our maternity shoot. She has a unique ability to capture the beauty of the human body during pregnancy in the most artistic and beautiful ways. I can say with confidence (after a lot of research!) that there are not a lot of photographers who are able to do the type of work she does. What started as a desire to capture my last pregnancy evolved into a fun family affair. Gaby beautifully integrated solo shots of my toddler, took some headshots for my husband's job, took some romantic partner photos of just my husband and I, and then captured the joy of our entire (growing) family. From start to finish the experience was flawless with a concierge flair. She promptly exchanged emails after my initial form submission and set up a time for the in-home consultation. That time was focused on determining what look we were hoping for as clients and developing a plan for types of poses, lighting, and wardrobe. After getting a sense of our preferences and "look" she took care of the rest. Before the shoot, she sent out multiple reminder emails of what to expect the day of. She ensured that I had a belly large enough to highlight the pregnancy, but also not too large so as to make the experience uncomfortable. The photoshoot was extremely well-organized and so much fun! Never in a million years would I have anticipated 5 hours in a studio with a 2-year-old could be fun, but it was a blast due to Gaby's excellent preparation. There was space for us to sit and relax, plenty of drinks/snacks, and toys for the kiddo. Gaby had two assistants; one who did both my hair and makeup and one who assisted with set up, as well also monitoring the toddler when mom and dad were taking photos. Might I add that the hair and make-up were legitimately more thorough than I had for my wedding. Gaby was also super-efficient in her workflow. While I was getting hair and makeup Gaby started off with my husband's headshots, then moved onto photos of the toddler, then photos of husband/toddler. She amazingly captured their shared goofiness and the photos are precious. We then took some timeless family photos and mother/daughter photos that I can't wait to display on our walls. The final segment of the shoot was a series of maternity photos and glamorous black and white photos solo and with my husband that came out exactly as I'd hoped! The next stage was another in-home visit to review the photos and pick the ones we liked the most (definitely the hardest part of the process!) Gaby had a great way of guiding us through the process with side-by-side comparisons to make the decision-making easier. She also helped us determine the appropriate number and size of wall art for our specific space. Once selected, Gaby was really quick to process the touched-up photos and send to us for review. She was very accommodating as we decided on our final package. If you are looking for a client-centered, one-of-a-kind experience with an unbelievably talented artist, book with Gaby!

Gaby is amazing!!!!! First of all, she does some special style that not every maternity photographer does. That's why I decided to go with her. And the whole process proofed to myself that I made the best decision to go with Gaby. She first spent a lot of time to understand my characteristic and the style I like, and super accommodating with all the requirements I have. During the session, she made the whole process so comfortable that we actually accomplished a lot more than I thought. When it comes to the result, they are all fabulous. My friend was there when we tried to decide which ones we like the most, she thought Gaby made me look like a super model even before any editing! What else can I say?! I can't recommend her any more!!!!

Gaby is an incredible photographer...and an incredible person! I never thought I would want to do maternity photos, but now that I am pregnant with baby #2, I considered it. I did a lot of research and was so impressed with Gaby's reviews and beautiful work on her website. I loved her approach that this is an experience, not just "taking pictures." I also loved that we had a phone call to get to know each other and an in-person consultation so we could discuss the vision. This was important so that on the day of the shoot, we had direction and didn't just wing it on the spot. She also had great ideas of how to include my daughter in the photos, which was so important to me. The day of the shoot was nothing short of magical! Gaby creates a fun yet comfortable vibe in her studio and has a hair and makeup artist to make you feel your best. She also has so many wardrobe options and accessories to choose from. You really are queen for a day! She has so many creative ideas with poses, lighting, fabrics, etc. It is honestly amazing to see the results of what she does with her expertise and eye for every detail. It was so fun shooting by myself but so special when my daughter came. Gaby also has so many cute dress and accessory options for little girls, so I didn't have to buy anything special just for the shoot. Now when I saw the photos, let me tell you I was BLOWN AWAY! I usually do not like pictures of myself and I am very critical of the way I photograph, so I was hoping I would like at least a few. As it turned out, I LOVED so many that it was hard to narrow down and choose my absolute favorites. Gaby is beyond talented. She is in the process of finalizing my selections now, and I am so excited to have my photos in hand. I know these photos are something we will always treasure, and we will be so proud to display and share with our loved ones. THANK YOU, GABY!
