Dr. Narayan and his staff are great; very nice, responsive, and proactive. My procedure was efficient, painless and on time. Followup care was easy, and I felt as though they actually knew who I was!

I was very fortunate/grateful to get a timely Monday morning appointment as cancellation was available. The very next day a Colonoscopy was scheduled. I had been experiencing intermittent rectum bleeding throughout the weekend. Dr Narayan & his staff, Maria are wonderful, as well the surgical staff. Very pleased with all their customer service. I have had all my prior colonoscopies with Dr Narayan. I recall many years ago staff at Alta Bates highly recommending him to me. Grateful to be seeing him & his staff.

Dr Narayan took the time to explain the procedure and we worked through several medication issues. I really appreciated the discussion we had. He was very clear in his explanation and he really wanted me to understand what was happening. At the end he also was good at explaining what he found.

Dr. Subhendu Narayan is a consummate professional. Confident (not misplaced!) and knowledgeable, I trust his diagnostic skills, judgement and guidance. He has been my Gastroenterologist for many years and since the retirement of a colleague in his practice. I feel lucky to be under Dr. Narayan's care not to mention his capable and delightful assistant, Maria Gonzalez who is always responsive, familiar with my medical history and a very professional liaison with his practice. I go to their Berkeley office which is part of a very nice building solely dedicated to their group's practice. Pretty darned impressive! He just performed by biennial endoscopy and colonoscopy - non trivial procedures. I don't hesitate to place my trust in him and his team at the Walnut Creek Endoscopy Center many of whom have been there for years.

My husband and I have had multiple endoscopic services from Dr. Narayan. He is a highly skilled operator. Also does an outstanding job of answering questions clearly and providing the quantitative information needed for making joint decisions. His office assistant and office organization are excellent. Highly recommended. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for GI services.

Dr Nayaran was terrific in explaining the process, extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. The Walnut Creek facility was terrific. The nurses on staff were outstanding as was Dr Mitchell (anesthesia)
