I requested a birth certificate that was issued in 1945 for a birth that took place in a D.P. camp in Germany. Germany Service was able to locate the record and I received it promptly. The entire process was very easy to complete. I reside in the U.S.

This service was excellent. I was looking for a document from Germany, and on my own it seemed virtually impossible to get. I don’t speak German, and I have little knowledge on how to access historical records. But, today I happily hold in my hands the document I needed thanks to the help of Germany Service. bad handling
my problem was I that I was communicating with different people each time, no one person being responsible for my specific needs and vital information fell between the lines so my handling was delayed and misdirected. you can say its my fault but a proffessional agancy like this shoould know better. I got a refund before I even asked for one, which was almost insulting. basically this flipping from one person to another is a bad bad way of handling a case.
I hope they learned from this. as really my request was super simple.

I needed my father's birth certificate from 1937. I initially gave Frau Rusch and Herr Peschla the wrong town. They were very gracious and went above and beyond to help me, and found the birth certificate. They are professional and responsive. Great service!
