Do not order anything from this garbage place. I ordered a pair of boots I usually wear a 9 I got a 10 just to be safe. I paid $22 extra for express delivery. The boots were $79.99. The next day I sent the boots back. That was 5 days ago. They just received the boots back that I paid $99 in total. The customer service is horrible. $ 99 later they said the refund me $64. So I basically got robbed $35. They charged me $12.99 shipping to return the boots. All I wanted was to exchange for a size 11. But do to the horrible customer service and all there bs I'll gladly take the $35 loss to never buy garbage from glit.
Do not shop here. There size chart makes zero sense. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I'm disgusted with this place.

Placed two orders for very high end items. Both were cancelled but my card was charged each time and still not credited a week later. Also I was not notified of the cancellations at all. I had to find out myself when I checked on shipping after not hearing anything about shipping status. It's almost like they advertise high end items for cheaper and never actually had them in stock to begin with just to get your info and credit card. Trash service

i felt like i just got scam. i won't be purchasing from gilt anymore. i bought a bag chloe was final sale no return but the bag was describe way bigger than the actually bag they send. what a luck when i contact them. they said they can't do anything i should check on yelp first before i purchase anything from them

I believe customer service should match the quality of the items sold. It falls short in my opinion. I'm sure no one wants to hear my blah blah about what happened but I wanted to let other buyers beware. For quality dresses that arrive on time and ar beautifully, I would suggest Revolve. I've never been disappointed and the price point is similar. I actually never received the gown frim Gilt nor any explanation. My fault I suppose, for not reading the reviews first.

horrible experience altogether. Received my package missing was a coat the cost over $100. Apparently I will not hear from anybody for at least 48 hours. How insane is that for Customer Service? Extremely frustrating was hoping to have the code for Thanksgiving, but that's not gonna happen. sympli wanna response is that really too much to ask when you buy something?

They have a very strict process for credit card processing. Make sure your account info matches exactly the billing info, specifically the credit card name, address, and the email you used to sign up for the card, or they will cancel your order. The usual allowance made by similar businesses for a discrepancy in first name between shipping and billing info is not allowed at GILT. They will also not notify you that the order has been cancelled, and their rationale is that they wouldn't want to give a potential fraudster an indication that their attempt has failed.
If the items are no longer available, no longer on sale, or rush ordered, the best they can do is look to see if there is anything left and you will likely not get anything in time.
While I appreciate the effort at security, I do expect them to be flexible about someone using a nickname for the first name in the shipping info when if you give the full legal name for the billing info. I also expect a notification when an order attempt fails. Lastly, although this is a small thing, I also expect an apologetic demeanor from the customer service associate when something like this happens, not a lecture on company policy and how I could have prevented this from happening.
TLDR: Disappointing experience due to an overly strict internal process that ignores customer needs and common industry practices, exacerbated by an unapologetic, blame-shifting demeanor from the customer service associate.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from an online company. In mid September I bought 2 sets of towels for $57 and $30 unlimited shipping (it seemed like a good deal at the time - what a mistake!) And they never arrived. I must have contacted the company 5 or 6 times and they kept telling me the order would arrive in 2 days - each time. Yesterday they refunded $30 to my paypal acct. I don't know if I will ever be totally refunded. Never Again!

I've been a Gilt customer for years, but will never be again. The worst.
I ordered a necklace & when it arrived, was in a giant knot. I couldn't untangle, so I wrote to customer service. I've exchanged 6 emails with them, and sent 2 photos over the last week. $22.00 necklace! Assumed they were blowing me off, so looked for necklace elsewhere. Gilt listed its retail price at $125.00. Found it on line for $16.00 at kohls, $19.98 at Nordstrom. Complete scam. AVOID GILT!

This company has the worst customer service EVER. ESPECIALLY AMBER. She is horrible. They seem to take a course in how to torture the customer. They have meaningless, ridiculous, and redundant requirements for "account verification" as if you are being qualified for top secret government work. I won't even go into the details. Gilt shipped only 1 x pendant when I paid for two?!?
I ordered 2 x Le Vian aquapraise gold pendant as a couple jewelry for my daughter and myself. When it arrived, it was only one pendant! The package was not damaged at all, so it is obviously the Gilt order fulfillment team made a mistake or an intentional fraud to ship only 1 pendant. I reported this incident about two and half weeks ago, but the gilt customer support team suggested I contact Royal Mail to claim the loss!?! I wrote again two more times that it is not the currier's fault and Gilt needs to return my money back. But I didn't get a response yet. I'm a returning customer to Gilt and now absolutely furious. How can they deceive a customer this way for an expensive designer jewelry? It is fraud!!!!!

YOU DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO JUST PUT RANDOM CHARGE ON MY CARD . Customer service said was a computer glitch... I dont care that it's only 5.47 $ oh it a glitch won't actually get charged. ITS ON MY CC. Called again. Over an hour spent on phone . No response to email.

I wish I could give zero stars to this horrible company. I have been a customer since the company's inception and they have no customer service or management to Troubleshoot any issues. I made a purchase for 1700.00 and the item was never delivered to my address. No signature was retained at the time of delivery. I repeatedly reached out to Gilt with no return phone calls from management. I reported them to the better business bureau for literally stealing my money. Horrible company. Thieves. Customers are not being protected against bad companies.

Avoid this company at all costs. I order a watch roll, priced at a great price, they had two similar models but I chose the nicer/higher priced model at 89 dollars. The other model (same brand) was 69 dollars. So in the mail I receive the wrong item, actually receive the 69 dollar item. The items are VERY similar and at the end of the day, since I already had the item, I contacted them for refund of the difference (20 dollars) or replace with the 89 dollar item. They inform me they do not have the 89 dollar item currently and at that time I informed them that since I could not get the 89 dollar item, that I would be the 69 dollar item because again, very little difference in between the two. Instead of paying to ship back to them and me reordering the exact item I have and them pay to ship back to me again, I can keep this item and you can refund me the difference in price. I even sent pictures of the item received to confirm in fact it was the 69 dollar item but they knew that in advance right? They knew the sent me the wrong item because the other was out of stock so instead of contacting me to tell me, they just sent the lower priced one. If they would have contacted me, I would have said to cancel the order and then buy the 69 dollar item. But the only remedy they have is return the item I have and get a refund, which would leave me without something I bought because obviously I needed it.
Their customer service is terrible and none of the 5 different people that wrote me have any intelligence at all but I guess what do I expect. I will NEVER buy from this company again and would advise everyone else to avoid. The solution to THEIR mistake was incredibly easy but they REFUSE to accept that. Avoid them at all costs.......the quality of the items they send is also definitely poor but I just also said you get what you pay for.

Do the deliveries ever really come? I have had a package in process to me for a month now.. it keeps getting delayed, "its not lost" according to customer service. A new scan within 2 weeks and this companies policies are that its not lost. Last day of the 2 weeks and a new scan is made... what is really going on here. I ordered 2 packages and same experience. What an awful experience. What a horrible way to conduct business. This is ridiculous.
