If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have been dealing with Gilt customer service since early December. First off, I never received an email confirmation of my order, which was odd. I ordered several pair of boots and they were delivered by FedEx to the wrong house blocks away from mine. I emailed them many, many times saying I had not received the items. I always got an immediate computer generated response that they received my email with a case number and that someone would get back to me. After sending 10 or so emails and getting 10 case numbers, nobody ever responded. I asked them to ask FedEx for a photo of delivery location, so I could try and track it down but no response. 1 and 1/2 months after the delivery date, a neighbor, who not only did not live on the same street name but the incorrect hundred block also, delivered the box to me. They had been out of the country since Thanksgiving. The box sat in snow, rain and wind for the entire time. The box was destroyed, and both boxes of boots inside were wet. I dried out the boots and emailed them once again. Miraculously, a customer service agent got back to me for the first time because they wanted their product back. (I had called the credit card company when this all began and disputed the charge). I told them the shipping box was destroyed and both pair of boots were damaged. They told me to purchase a box from FedEx and ship back to them. They said in an email that they would reimburse the charge for the box. The charge was really insignificant but at this point I was so mad at all the time I had spent without anyone even having the decency to respond. I should have just thrown the damaged boots in the trash and not wasted any more of my time. It is now March 3rd and my credit card company said the issue was resolved today but of course no word from Gilt about reimbursement. I will never, ever order from them again. Buyers BEWARE!

I would give zero stars if possible! I ordered Latisse for $100 and nothing came. I called and they said the $100 was for a 40% off coupon (which I NEVER received) but WHAT??!! I am so pissed! i called customer service and she just gas lighted me, said my refund was denied and then hung up. Today was the 4th call. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAMMERS! I'd give a zero if possible. I made 2 orders about a week apart. Both bought for an event. Neither was shipped out for over a month the event came and went. I called to cancel the orders, but they said they shipped one but cancelled the other. I waited for it to be delivered and returned it same day via their "smartpost" label. it's now been over 20 days and still no refund and no status. The order that was cancelled was recharged on my credit card weeks later and shipped out (without my authorization). Again, I waited for it to be delivered and returned same day via their "smartpost" label and again the same story of no refund and no return status. Every time I call they say status is not updated and they will not issue refund.

Would give 0 stars if I could based on my most recent experience. Awful customer service and refund process. Was sent the wrong item, took item to FedEx the same day I opened it & received a return label. Still waiting on a refund and the item to make it back to Gilt. It should not take weeks for Gilt to rectify an issue that was due to their incompetence and continue to inconvenience the customer. DO NOT ORDER from Gilt. Will be cancelling my account.

Less than one star review! I purchased a pair of cashmere socks and within less than 3 days they had massive holes!!! They had only been worn indoors with very little use. I contacted Guilt and was informed that since they had been worn, they were not returnable. I tried to reason with them, but continued to get a stock answer. Extremely disappointed!!!!

Got a Sweater that had two holes in it. I didn't realize it until I was washing it and not I'm out 40.00. No help at all. Returning my entire order since they customer derive is not helpful. Now I have to pay 11.99 for that. Do not recommend.

Do not order anything from this garbage place. I ordered a pair of boots I usually wear a 9 I got a 10 just to be safe. I paid $22 extra for express delivery. The boots were $79.99. The next day I sent the boots back. That was 5 days ago. They just received the boots back that I paid $99 in total. The customer service is horrible. $ 99 later they said the refund me $64. So I basically got robbed $35. They charged me $12.99 shipping to return the boots. All I wanted was to exchange for a size 11. But do to the horrible customer service and all there bs I'll gladly take the $35 loss to never buy garbage from glit.
Do not shop here. There size chart makes zero sense. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I'm disgusted with this place.

Placed two orders for very high end items. Both were cancelled but my card was charged each time and still not credited a week later. Also I was not notified of the cancellations at all. I had to find out myself when I checked on shipping after not hearing anything about shipping status. It's almost like they advertise high end items for cheaper and never actually had them in stock to begin with just to get your info and credit card. Trash service

i felt like i just got scam. i won't be purchasing from gilt anymore. i bought a bag chloe was final sale no return but the bag was describe way bigger than the actually bag they send. what a luck when i contact them. they said they can't do anything i should check on yelp first before i purchase anything from them

I believe customer service should match the quality of the items sold. It falls short in my opinion. I'm sure no one wants to hear my blah blah about what happened but I wanted to let other buyers beware. For quality dresses that arrive on time and ar beautifully, I would suggest Revolve. I've never been disappointed and the price point is similar. I actually never received the gown frim Gilt nor any explanation. My fault I suppose, for not reading the reviews first.

horrible experience altogether. Received my package missing was a coat the cost over $100. Apparently I will not hear from anybody for at least 48 hours. How insane is that for Customer Service? Extremely frustrating was hoping to have the code for Thanksgiving, but that's not gonna happen. sympli wanna response is that really too much to ask when you buy something?

I purchased a Gucci bracelet and received the delivery with an empty box! It had a box inside the shipping box along with a small plastic baggie that was torn open and NO gucci bracelet! I'm wondering if the shipping person stole it during packaging.

They have a very strict process for credit card processing. Make sure your account info matches exactly the billing info, specifically the credit card name, address, and the email you used to sign up for the card, or they will cancel your order. The usual allowance made by similar businesses for a discrepancy in first name between shipping and billing info is not allowed at GILT. They will also not notify you that the order has been cancelled, and their rationale is that they wouldn't want to give a potential fraudster an indication that their attempt has failed.

If the items are no longer available, no longer on sale, or rush ordered, the best they can do is look to see if there is anything left and you will likely not get anything in time.

While I appreciate the effort at security, I do expect them to be flexible about someone using a nickname for the first name in the shipping info when if you give the full legal name for the billing info. I also expect a notification when an order attempt fails. Lastly, although this is a small thing, I also expect an apologetic demeanor from the customer service associate when something like this happens, not a lecture on company policy and how I could have prevented this from happening.

TLDR: Disappointing experience due to an overly strict internal process that ignores customer needs and common industry practices, exacerbated by an unapologetic, blame-shifting demeanor from the customer service associate.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from an online company. In mid September I bought 2 sets of towels for $57 and $30 unlimited shipping (it seemed like a good deal at the time - what a mistake!) And they never arrived. I must have contacted the company 5 or 6 times and they kept telling me the order would arrive in 2 days - each time. Yesterday they refunded $30 to my paypal acct. I don't know if I will ever be totally refunded. Never Again!
