**Please have a look at the attached screenshots clearly proving the claims in my review below, before reading the response from the business** We hired Global Interior to do a full bathroom and walk in closet renovation in our home. There were a number of issues throughout the process (which took double the time quoted to complete) and many communication issues where we felt like we were not being listened to, or our opinions (as the home owners) were dismissed. Before the project was even complete, there was an issue where the bath and shower were leaking water into the dining room ceiling below and pouring out of the ceiling light fixture into the dining room. GI came back to repair the issue (since they were still working on completing the renovation), and admitted it was due to faulty installation. We were grateful for their honesty about this at the time and that they were able to fix it. However, less than a year later, the same thing began happening again. This time when we contacted Global Interior, they refused to answer our calls, would not return voicemail messages, and ignored our many texts and emails (proof of correspondence and read receipts by GI now attached). As a result, we can’t use our brand new family bathroom because it is severely leaking (due to the same issue that occurred during construction). They refuse to even speak to us because they clearly just don’t want to deal with it. We are now being forced to pursue legal action (since we have a warranty for the work) but I am very shocked and appalled at the way they are treating us — refusing to even have a basic conversation — after we paid them thousands and thousands of dollars and entrusted them with our family home. It will be difficult to find another company to do these repairs, since they won’t be familiar with the work done/mistakes made. Also, earlier on when we had another smaller issue, we were told they would only come back to fix it if “we left them a 5 star review online”. With 2 bathrooms done I am very pleased with the results. Drywall, flooring, shower, vanity. Basically tore down entire bathroom including the ceiling. The crew was awesome, great bunch of guys. Worked hard and sometimes on weekends when the schedule was starting to slip. Well done everyone. Honestly the hardest part was choosing the right materials, shower & vanity from Rona. It all came together and the missus is very happy.

We do NOT recommend Global Interiors In Calgary, one of Rona’s key contractors for bathrooms is Global Interiors formerly of Winnipeg. We gave them an 8.5’x5’ completely unfinished space to install a basement bathroom. The $24k project was supposed to take 2 weeks but it actually took 12 weeks to finish because the initial team of installers completely botched the job. Despite our very clear specifications before and during construction, Global under the direction of co-owner Vitaly, completely failed to install any sound dampening in the walls and ceiling. Additionally, installed floor tiles were uneven and had to be replaced, the shower curb and the shower niche sloped the wrong way, the new vanity had to be removed in order to correct a bulge in the wall, painting was left unfinished and more, before they completely disappeared after 3 weeks. If we had relied on Global to fix and finish the job, we are sure that it would have wound up in small claims Court but fortunately we went with Rona specifically because of their Warranty/Guarantee. Here, we provided Rona with a 4page summary of the many defects and deficiencies which led to their intervention and assumption of the role of General Contractor. In the end, Rona gets high marks for its focus on making it right and they fixed and finished everything except for installing sound dampening in the ceiling. Would we have done it again? Probably not. Would we recommend Global Interiors? Definitely NOT.

I had luxury vinyl plank installed in my home. Unfortunately my subfloor was very uneven but Vitaly and his team took care of it and did an absolutely fantastic job. This morning at 9am , Genady arrived for the installation of a vanity in my powder room and two shower doors for the bathrooms. I found him to be efficient and very clean. He installed all three items and worked all day to make sure it was complete. He was done at 2:30 after a long day. I would have him back if and when I need more done.

Came across this company at the January 2024 Calgary Renovation Show and chose them over 4 other estimates to do 2 full bathroom renos. They have a direct relationship through Rona and offer packages you can choose from. We then customized them more to our liking with the Global & Rona team and then they picked up everything and brought it to the job site. They communicated well all through the entire process. The Global team of Eugene, Vitaly, Lad, Pavlo and Max all were extremely helpful and professional. The work performed was exactly as expected and we are very happy with the final results. From initial introduction to job completion ended up being just 2 months.

Everyone was a pleasure to work with and after a resolving a minor issue we are very pleased with the look of our newly installed kitchen backsplash tiles. Next will be replacing floor tiles which we would not hesitate to have Global Interior do for us in the near future. We recommend Global Interior to do any upgrade work you may have in mind.
