Ryan was a self absorbed jerk who thought way too highly of himself. The level of unprofessionalism combined with his motivation to try and belittle and insult was unbelievable. There’s a good reason why he’s reaching out his neck and soliciting for dog trainers. His system is joke and a complete waste of money. Most who invest don’t renew the contract and are joyed to move away from his platform.

Ryan was amazing! He provided personalized and effective training for my puppy with behavioral issues, and helped me understand my role as a first time puppy owner. I saw results within just a few minutes of working with him! Super helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely continue to work with Ryan.

Ryan Matthews has been helping us train our Belgian Malinois puppy since May. His experience and knowledge has been key to our success in raising our dog. We will continue training with him for lifetime of our dog and I would recommend him to any pet owner with any type of dog or puppy any breed.

I was fortunate to be introduced to Ryan’s Train-the-Trainer program at the perfect time. I knew I needed to change careers, and as an avid dog-lover, this program was perfect! I had the opportunity to train various types of dogs, all with unique behavior challenges. Ryan is supportive and clear in his instruction, and watching him work dogs is nothing short of incredible. In addition to training dogs, Ryan provides well-rounded instruction on the business side of things. This really helped build my confidence, as I was new to owning a business and everything that comes with it. My favorite part about this program is that Ryan places as much emphasis on who we show up as before training as he does the training itself. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with World of Dog Training! I initially started training my dogs, Mika and Jarvis, with Alex in South OC. She recommended that I take advantage of a session with Ryan and a new trainer. I'm so glad I did! During the session, we focused on helping Jarvis, my anxious and reactive dog, become more comfortable with simple commands like "place" and "stay" in a new environment. It was quite hot outside, but despite the challenges, we made significant progress in just one session. I was truly impressed with the results. The trainers, including Ryan, Alex, and the new trainer, were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to both me and my dog's needs. They made sure to create a supportive and positive learning environment, which helped my dog feel at ease. Before the session, Ryan even shared a copy of his book, "The Canine Connection," which turned out to be a fantastic resource for gaining knowledge on dog behavior and various training techniques. The training experience exceeded my expectations in every way. I could see the genuine passion they have for their work, and their approach is comprehensive and individualized. Ryan and his team performed an impressive demo with our dog, who has been struggling with reactivity and fear of people. They were incredibly knowledgeable and patient explaining their training philosophy, and we could see right away the possibilities with their training strategies. They clearly care about dogs and training their people to be better.

I came all the way from the Bay to LA to train with World of dog training. My main concern was setting boundaries with my pups. Correcting their walking and making sure they stay at one place. I definitely learned some techniques and received the right tools to help with that. My pups did great, and by the end of my session I saw a different behavior. The result was a calm and relaxing environment without them jumping for attention, roaming around marking territory. I am impressed. World of dog training also gave me extra tools to take home with me and learn tricks and techniques to continue the training on my own.

My husband and I are so grateful to Ryan! We have a small Maltese Pomeranian (multipom) mixed dog named Osi who is 8 years old. He’s sweet, and territorial, he has taken his job of protecting the house too far. He barks at anyone who enters the house and has bitten some of our friends and family members multiple times. He will listen to my husband-for the most part, but doesn’t quite listen to me and my daughter. I took him to world of dog training because I was tired of feeling powerless and frustrated. After only one lesson with Ryan I already see results and can’t express my gratitude enough! With just 1 lesson I am wowed by the results of his training. His training is life changing to our family! And I’ll be referring everyone and their mamas to him! Thank you

We can’t say enough about World of Dog Training! Ryan and his team (our other trainer was Liz) have brought so much joy back to our lives. Sandy, our dog, was having behavioral issues due to our move accross the country. Today was her first full day home and Sandy is Amazing!!! Her first walk alone with me was the most enjoyable walk we have ever had. No more pulling my arm with her leash. No more lunging at other dogs. No more barking at everyone walking by the house. She sits and waits for my every command. Sandy was at World of Dogs for 2 weeks. We missed her dearly, but I wouldn’t change a thing. The dog that was brought back home, was the dog that we had been missing. Sandy has been trained and now it is our turn to continue her training. World of Dog Training was awesome! Kim boarded and trained Adele for three weeks and she came back a new dog. Kim sent me videos everyday showing her progress. She was available by text and phone. After returning home I had great private lessons with Ryan, Adele and I to make sure I knew what she had been taught. I highly recommend World of Dog Training!

I have 2 strays that use to walk me. Now we walk together thanks to World of Dog trainer KJ Prince. He has taught me so much in being able to have well behaved dogs in such a short time. This is one of the best decisions I have made. They even show their new found confidence which makes me smile. Thank you!

I heard about Ryan's train a trainer program from my mom. I was wanting to become a dog trainer and knew there was so much more then just training dogs to become a successful dog trainer. I was very interested in his program because he taught you how to run a successful business. Ryans program is amazing from teaching how to talk to clients and do advertising to learning how to work with huge variety of dogs. I can honestly say he is absolutely an amazing teacher who has absolutely mastered his craft and it is magical to watch him work any dog. I am so excitied to apart of the WODT team :) . I found Ryan on Facebook highly recommended and contacted his team ,they got back to me four days later Ryan met us .My dog is Oso he can not be walked he got neutered and changed,the hairs on his back stand ,he barks,is very territorial.He is a liability but has not bitten anyone.After one hour Ryan had him walking peacefully next to my husband and our Oso learned to relax with the tools and training Ryan and his team taught us.I am extremely grateful and feel excited we have hope for our Oso !Ryan was very knowledgeable in dog training was professional and very careful.If you have a dog who needs training please call Ryan you will be amazed like I am.Thank you Ryan for your Wisdom you are a blessing.My Oso will be able to be free and enjoy life.Thank you I appreciate you!!

I was walking my Cali girl at the beach and saw WODT with another dog. Cali was pulling on the leash as usual. On my walk back Ryan approached me and asked if he could work with her for a few minutes. My dog is his energy and is constantly pulling the leash, barking at dogs because she wants to play, or just being a nut case. Ryan's energy and understanding over my dog showed instantly, and we were able to walk by the other dog being trained without her lunging. Within minutes there was a noticeable difference, and during our first training session she did not bark once while we walked her on the boardwalk. Ryan senses the dog and reacts to her and her needs, and it shows. I am excited for the next session. Highly recommend.

Ryan Matthews has to be your dog trainer as soon as possible. He was very determined to leave an impact on my two pets. My dogs ended up learning quickly based on his effective training methods. He is such a punctual and respectful individual. My pets got along with him the moment Ryan approached them. Look no further for another trainer.
