What a wonderful office. I was abruptly dismissed from my last dentist without provocation and had a cracked tooth. ( So she said) Dr. Markowitz and staff made room for me in their busy schedule to see me last minute. What a great experience!
Easy to find location, ample parking and office was large and very clean. Receptionist Brittany was super sweet and Alex the PM explained the plan and the benefits covered under my insurance. Holly the dental assistant was easy-going and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Markowitz was down to earth and had a great personality, which I think is essential in a dentist. Find out it’s not a “cracked tooth” but an old filling that had decay underneath.
So much for fancy dental schools. Does not mean a thing without the EXPERIENCE and COMPASSION. So happy the other dentist dismissed me.(it is funny but so wrong) I would have never found Dr. Markowitz and staff at GREAT BOCA SMILES.

As usual, Dr. Markowitz & his entire staff were friendly, professional & knowledgeable and did a great job taking care of my teeth & presenting options for future work on my teeth that need to be accomplished.

I was a patient of Dr. Markowitz years ago and had 3 crowns done.. Felt the need to share my experience. Fast-forward to today, and two crowns have failed and the other had issues that needed to be corrected. The staff quickly informed me that nothing is covered but I honestly wouldn't want to go back anyway. The bite was always off and way too high but I lived with it for years resulting in aggravation of the teeth, roots, gums, etc. Dr. Markowitz is a great guy and seemed quite knowledgeable and proficient but also seemed hasty with my procedures, a bit unfocused and did not address my concerns. I also felt the practice was hyper-focused on the business end of things and not truly caring about patients. I ended up throwing a lot of money down the drain in the long run.. I think it's fair to rate my experience as 3 stars for 3 crowns that weren't done quite right. Hopefully I'm just an anomaly.

He is blessed with exceptional physical skill and judgement as well as a tremendous amount of knowledge. He integrates a very high tech office with very personalized care.

Dr Markowitz has been my dentist for over 14 years. He is professional, knowledgeable and very exact and detailed. His work is impeccable. His office is well managed. Organized, extremely clean and well maintained with the latest equipment. From the office manager Alex who is calm and precise to the Hygenist Holly whom is one of the best Hygenists I have ever been too. Now with the addition of Dr Cela you totally feel you are in good hands.

Dr. Markowitz and his staff genuinely care about their patients, their teeth and their experience in the dentist’s chair. I came in for a complex procedure that I was a little nervous about. Dr. Markowitz made it seem simple and easy. He was very focused, precise and careful to make sure I was comfortable and that the procedure was a success. His staff is friendly and caring and all have a nice rapport which makes the office environment a happy, positive one. I feel completely confident in Dr. Markowitz and know that the dental work I receive is of the best quality. I highly recommend Great Boca Smiles and Dr. Markowitz.
