I wanted to wait for a bit to give me time to "wear" my hair before leaving a review for Steven. O my goodness. My hair has not looked this good in 15 years. When I sat down he said very kindly, I don't think think the color of your hair is the best for you. Which is exactly what I was feeling. He showed me a color, I was a bit hesitant but thought lets try it. My hair is beautiful, the color enhances my skin tone instead of working against it. The experience with him was over the top. I can't say enough good things about this gentleman. I won't go to anyone else! Thank you Steven!!!!

I loved my hairstylist Stephanie new york. She did the perfect blunt bob on me and my hair looks so good. She pays attention to detail and takes the time to make it look just the way you want it to. I definitely recommend Stephanie she's amazing!

Joey was awesome! I’ve been looking for someone who can cut my young son’s hair the way that I want it to be cut, which for some reason has been hard to find in the area. Not anymore 😊 Will be coming back again.

I had an amazing experience with Alexander Antonio. He is truly a master stylist! He is very attentive, knowledgeable and took his time and made sure my grays got covered, unlike my last hairdresser. My blowout was beautiful and the best I’ve ever had. We got along great and his energy is super positive and fun. I can’t wait for my next appointment. Thank you so much Alexander! 😊

I found it but unfortunately it didn't say that they were closed on that particular day! Update - Owners feedback said they were open with people there until 7pm. I was there before 5pm, their door was locked. They may have been open, but I'm not second guessing buddy's locked door. Although, the person who left their vehicle lghts on may have appreciated if I tried harder! As per the phone number ... Not so obvious for a drive by. My litmus test was trying their door, then if open, determining if they could accommodate me. Sage advice ... I'll call from the street before testing your door.

My 2nd time at Hair by Joey and had an amazing experience! Stephanie from New York was my stylist, and she was incredibly attentive, experienced, and so knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable right away and gave me exactly the cut I was hoping for. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, the salon was spotless, and I even got offered a beverage—such a nice touch! I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

What can I say. We blew it on this one. No one should have to wait around 40 minutes for a bang trim. I've reached out to Athena to offer her a free haircut. About all I could think to do. In salons, as in all work places you have days where things just go sideways and someone gets missed. I feel so bad she drove all that way.

I’m so grateful to have found Sabrina. Her attention to detail is amazing. She not only listens, but isn’t afraid to give suggestions, especially in her areas of expertise, which are MANY. Sabrina helped me embrace my beautiful grays, after dying my hair red for 15 years. She took her time and did not damage my hair. I have received so many compliments and couldn’t be happier.

I have been to many many stylists (and even well known) over several decades (!) and once again began my search to seek out what I once again hoped could fulfill my expectation to get a good cut- I sought out Hair by Joey and randomly chose Sabrina as my "next" stylist. I was completely taken by surprise when she not only gave me probably the best cut of my life but also explained how I should care for my hair. The next day I was so happy with the cut and my husband said......."that is the best cut and style you've received-ever"! My family and friends all said the same. I cannot say enough about Sabrina's ability as a stylist. Honestly, for me she is pure genius!

Dear Readar,
We cut Judith's hair back on June 7th. She called me unhappy a day or two later so I apologized and offered to either refund her entire payment or book her with another stylist to fine tune the cut. She opted to reschedule so I arranged for a complementary redo. I asked her to let me know If there were any further issues. Now here we are in October and she's chosen to leave us a 1 star review. I'll leave you to come to your own conclusions.

I specifically searched for someone in the area who had great reviews for cutting straight hair and being able to give shape and personality—everything led to Hair by Joey and specifically Alexander Antonio. His bio and reviews gave me a lot of hope that he could be the perfect person for me (my stylist of many years is no longer available). And sure enough, Alexander was amazing. A thoughtful and present person who spent time getting to know me and what I was looking for, and then proceeded to work with my hair with care and attention to detail. I’m delighted, as it’s not easy to find someone who can give straight hair great personality and style. My hair looks fabulous and will easily grow out with some grace—another perk. Happy to have a new stylist who I can imagine working with for a long time.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is truly amazing! Everyone is really nice and the salon is beautiful. Joey was so helpful with getting me an appointment with my crazy schedule. My stylist Holly was amazing, this is the first time I have walked out of a hair appointment truly happy with my hair. Holly’s assistant was also very amazing and kind. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
