Amazing experience! Can’t believe how much we learned in just 4 short evenings… from how to structure a joke to practical exercises in stage etiquette. Lots of hands on guidance but so much room to bring your own voice and personality. I don't aspire to be a Pro Stand-up but I wanted something to shake up my creative writing process and get me out of my comfort zone… and this was perfect. So much fun, such nice guys, a safe space to experiment. Highly recommend!

Hard Knock Knocks is a great experience and a supportive environment to learn how to write jokes and perform standup. My classmates were so much fun to learn with. The course offers great value with professional photos and a recording of your final performance. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves standup and wants to learn the ropes

If you think your funny, want to learn how to be, or know someone who is then this is the absolute best thing you could ever do with your time. Sing up and have the greatest time of you life. The team are amazing.

This course is the BEST! I could not recommend it any more highly and will definitely be doing it again. I was blown away by how much I learned and how awesome the teachers, Morry and Brad, were. Even if you have no intention of doing stand-up, the skills you learn can be applied elsewhere in your career!

This is Taz Cockerill. I’m a recent student at Hard Kock Knocks. Jeremy Knight’s my alter ego. It was great during COVID. I just wrote that name down and put in a fake number. The poor bloke whose number I did write down probably never got to leave his house! 😅 Anyway, this course was fantastic! I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking at getting into stand up comedy. Brad Oakes and Morry really know their stuff and I’ve come out with more confidence and a better understanding of what makes a good comedian; from writing to delivery methods and even tips for reading and engaging with the crowd. Since then, I’ve been to a few open mics to watch and there are a lot of people that need that assistance which is what this course will offer. Remember that just cos you or your mates think you’re funny, you’ve gotta be able to connect with the audience too and make them believe it. Otherwise you won’t learn or go far. Don’t consider it, do it and you’ll get further as a comedian.

I love the 5-day course. I've been struggling with stand-up for a while (let's face it: Its hard). Brad and Morry are really good at putting you in an environment where you can test out basic comedy structures with also giving honest critical feedback. I found it so helpful that I will be back to do it again in the near future.
