We come here every year, and it gets better each time! Service is always outstanding, and the owner is a very nice guy. Food was all excellent

We have eaten here many times, and food has been consistently excellent. I love all their pasta dishes. The service is prompt and attentive. I highly recommend eating here.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und schön. Das Ambiente ist super, allerdings ist das Restaurant sehr voll. Das bedeutet zum einen, dass man unbedingt reservieren sollte, zum Anderen, dass man bereit sein muss auf sehr engem Raum zu sitzen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker (und wie in New York üblich ziemlich teuer). Der Besitzer ist freundlich und kulant. Wir hatten einen Tisch mit 5 Personen. 2 Personen sind im Verkehr stecken geblieben, trotzdem durften die anderen 3 Personen schon Platz nehmen (in New York eher unüblich). Auch, dass sich dadurch das Essen sehr verzögert hat (und wir den Tisch länger als geplant blockiert haben) war völlig ok. Vielen Dank dafür!

Probably one of the worst Italian restaurants in NYC. From bread to entrees.

I went here over the past weekend with a group of friends (6 of us total) we were charged a 20% service charge. This was fine as we would have tipped 20% anyway. The bill was around $240 total, and we gave them $300 cash to pay. They did not offer to give us change and put the money away in the register, and we assumed that the waitress would bring us our change as $300 on top of our $240 total (mind you, this ALREADY included the service charge) would have been almost a 50% tip. They didn’t apologize or address it after we asked for our change. I would not recommend.

I loved the ambiance and coziness! We got a small table next to the brick wall and we practically had lunch with the table next to us, because the place is small, but we loved it. The Pizza quattro stagioni and the Arugula and pear salad were amazing! We also had profiteroles for dessert and they were delicious. This place feels like we are all a big family eating together. My only concern are the possible safety risks for my pals the waiters, due to the reduced space (posture problems, stepping into each other, etc). I would also recommend having more than one bathroom.

The pasta carbonara was alright but a little too salty. Ambience is cute and festive. My issue was with the service. We waited for our food for 30+ minutes and no one checked up on us. When I asked for an update, it was clear our server forgot to put the order in. They were laughing about it in the back. No apology, no transparency (I had to ask if the server forgot because she tried to blow past it) and no offer to even comp our next round of drinks until my friend asked. We did get a free round of drinks 🤷🏽‍♀️

I stopped in here for dinner on a date after walking around near the Seaport. It’s the most authentic restaurant in the area and a nice departure from the polished, shopping-mall atmosphere of the places around it. Good food, good service, unpretentious, and cozy.

The price was $22 for one slice and then when I went to go ask how much is for a large he wasn’t answering no more and then I was like hello he hung up

Tried this place based on the good reviews, however, my friend and I weren’t impressed with the food. It was okay at best. My cacio é pepe pasta was like alfredo. Service was fine and everyone was friendly. Just not a spot I would return to.

Die Pizza war sehr gut aber ziemlich teuer. Die Kellnerin wirkte etwas aufdringlich und wollte uns gefühlt immer noch etwas verkaufen. Insgesamt war der Restaurantbesuch zwar gut, allerdings finde ich eine Service Gebühr von 18% mit auf die Rechnung zu schreiben schon sehr unverschämt. Aber dann trotzdem noch die Möglichkeit zwischen 18% und 25% EXTRA Trinkgeld zu geben, anstatt sich mit den verpflichtenden 18% zufrieden zu stellen ist meiner Meinung nach eine Frechheit. Uns sind die eingerechneten 18% zum Glück aufgefallen, sonst hätten wir wahrscheinlich ganze 40% Trinkgeld gezahlt. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Restaurant klar profitorientiert, was mit Hinsicht auf das Essen nicht nachvollziehbar ist, da dieses sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Schade!

The food is good from here, but the service is bad. The waitress has a different service attitude between my table and the other table. She never introduced anything about the menu. She took our order and then never came back to ask us if we needed anything or food tasting. I don't feel I get any service, she only takes the order and gives us the bill. I still gave 15% tips, just for the food.

Found this place randomly & decided to head out with my partner. I’m so glad we came! Food was OUTSTANDING, service was GREAT, and the atmosphere was super chill and cozy. Highly recommend to any and all foodies looking for top tier food and flavor!
