Jerome did a great job fixing my two laptops. I have two identical laptops each one had a hardware issue and Jerome masterfully fused the working parts from each into one perfectly working laptop and gave me the parts from the other to hold onto for future possible needs. All for a reasonable price. I would absolutely go back to him again.

I love my 2015 MacBook Pro. So when the screen cracked and Apple turned me away, I didn’t know where to turn. I Love Macbook Repairs NYC was the perfect place. Jerome was knowledgable, fair, and generous. After he sourced and replaced the screen within 3 business days of my initial call, he made sure everything was working perfectly if not better before giving it back. I appreciate the time and care he took to make the repair and optimize the machine’s performance. I hope I don’t have to see him anytime soon, but should something unthinkable happen I know who to call first. Highly recommend.

Jerome is knowledgeable and attentive. My work laptop keyboard was missing keys. He did a quick and thorough assessment and provided a quote for his work. Jerome offered a quick turn-around and had my laptop back to me that same evening. He also caught that the battery in my 7-year-old computer was swollen and putting pressure on an important cable, and was able to replace it with a new battery on the spot. Highly recommended for fast and professional work with a smile!

Have gone to Jerome multiple times with a failing 2016 MacBook Pro (still alive and kicking though!) and he has been nothing short of extraordinary — capable, competent, and incredibly kind. This is an incredibly bad store. I just went there to replace my display. They said they could do it in 2.3 hours. However, not only did they fail to replace the display on my MacBookpro, they installed the wrong part and destroyed my laptop's motherboard. I was traveling, but needed the laptop to do my work, and consequently bought a new MacBook on the trip. I told them about it and they said they could fix it so I should send them the laptop. Who would believe that? I also took it to several other repair stores and they determined that some screws etc were missing, this was a complete amateur repair. I told this to the staff at this store and they assured me that the missing screws were not the problem. I was just appalled. Having no choice, I charged them money to replace the motherboard and they said they would email me a receipt number in a week. And now it has been a month and I have received neither the receipt number nor the money. They make money on amateur repairs and lie to their customers. It is like a scam. *In addition, they never even apologized for their mistake until I asked for it. Finally, they made the excuse that “I am human and I make mistakes too”. Sure, we all make mistakes. But I think it is a decent human being who then takes responsibility for correcting his or her mistakes.

Called here to get my macbook fixed after apple initially told me it was $250 then it suddenly jumped to $600. Im also a student so I needed my computer urgently. Jerome asked me for some info on what was causing my issue and gave me a much more affordable price for fixing it. Unfortunately my issue ended with me needing to replace my entire computer and Jerome was still able to quote me an affordable price for that! He communicated with me every step of the way about what was being done and how he planned to remedy it. I’m still in disbelief at the price he gave me considering all he did and i’m so appreciative. Really kind, personable, and honest guy. 10/10 amazing and affordable!

Jerome is excellent. A shift key was stuck. I am literally 8 days past the warranty (bought macbook in Sept 2023). Apple authorized repair (won't say who) said they won't touch it unless I agree ot an entire keyboard replacement, which runs $500-$600. Enter Jerome and his operation at 550 8th Ave. He fixes the key in about 15 mins. And let's just say it was about 95% cheaper than what apple quoted. Glad to have this go-to in the future.

I needed data transferred from my very old MacBook that would no longer boot up to a newer MacBook. Jerome came through and got it done with ease. He was really knowledgeable on Mac parts and very friendly/professional. Highly recommend if you ever need repairs.
