The private bunk houses are awesome. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and im telling you now it's amazing. The ranch makes it very easy to navigate the ranch as well as pick up of harvested game. I will say not the biggest fan of how much they try to nickle and dime people. It's whatever initial hunting fee they choose to charge to get in. From there your game is measured out full body weight and you must pay for it even though you will only get 60 percent of the actual weight of it at best. You aren't allowed to process your own game (makes sense considering this is how they make their money). They did say you can donate whatever game you get if you don't want to keep it but you still must pay the 75 dollar cleaning fee plus 1.50 a pound based off of total weight or 3 bucks a pound if you would like to trade for sausages. Was a fun place to hunt but their ads and prices are very misleading and I would highly recommend going somewhere else. They do offer to put you into a "contest" for a free hunt if you give a 5 star review but they usually just try to sell you the $399 2 day 3 night hunt which can easily turn into thousands of dollars for not much to show for it. All in all not the worst place to hunt but far better places as well. In my opinion this place is for people with expendable cash that like to say they hunt but instead just want to shoot things. I would stick with public hunting lands

We were able to shoot a lot of hogs. Cabins were clean and the food was awesome.

Independent Ranch is an experience like no other. Expert staff to help you succeed in your hunt. We could not be more pleased. We will be back next year!

Good food, good accommodations, friendly helpful staff, great camp environment. I could have shot more pigs if I wanted to, they were there.

Excellent weekend out shooting hogs! Got to stay in “The Blanchard” Cajun cabin and even had great lunch of étouffée. The ranch hands are 1st class and on the spot!

Great time here

Paul was able to get out here last minute after our other hunt fell through. It was so easy to get started we were out in the field within 20 minutes. Everyone in my group got to haul in as many hogs as they wanted and they were everywhere. I got my fill in the morning hunt and the Ranchers came right out and took care of the rest. Every time we went out, we saw hogs, and that’s all you can really hope for.

The guys were great! Super informative and the gigs were moving all day. We were able to stalk hunt. We didn’t get many hogs, but a lot were moving and it was extremely fun. They made lunch for us. Fantastic lunch and honestly, I’d come back for the food alone. Great survive. Fantastic hunt.

Great place to Hunt Pigs!

Thanks Paul for the hospitality! We had group of 10 hunters, we killed 50 hogs and added a lifetime of memories. This is our 3rd trip and will definitely be back!!!

Came here from Canada. If i could give this a 6 star i would. Hogs were plentiful and lots of big ones. I got my first Boar here and i most certainly will be back. Thanks for a great time.
