Lovely little boutique resort. This hidden gem offers personalized service above that of a 5 star hotel. Something you notice upon arrival. The hosts are also the owners, and have put together the subtleties of home in a charming atmosphere overlooking St Thomas Harbor and Crown Bay. On the dining level you can relax with an open bar cocktail and play Chinese Checkers or read one of the many books, from 1 of many book caches located throughout the resort. Dinner in the open Caribbean air is enchanting, and the menu choices were delicious. Breakfast is complementary. The rooms are well kept; each having its own unique character. Each offering a microwave, refrigerator and smart tv. Comfortable beds are made daily with quality linens and quilted bedspreads. Probably not the best place for wheelchair mobility but you can get around with limited mobility. Whether you’ve come to stay or just for dinner, you will always remember this place.

After an extremely long and frustrating day St Thomas Airport, where our flight was cancelled, the pleasant surprise of finding Island View Guest House was nothing short of amazing. This charming Guest House filled with eclectic charm, quaint rooms, views of this gorgeous island along with the personable owners was everything a traveler needed.

After a flight cancellation and long day, our traveling party of 5 was referred to the Island View Guest House. Libby and Marshall, the owners, welcomed us to this charming boutique hotel and took impeccable care of us. Rooms were comfortable, well appointed, clean, and inviting. An honor bar with drinks and snacks on the veranda (the restaurant and reception area) with spectacular views and lovely breezes was a wonderful place to unwind. Libby was kind enough to drive us to pick up dinner, which we enjoyed on that beautiful veranda as well. A delicious breakfast in the AM was included and a great way to cap off our stay. This gem does not disappoint. The personalized service was truly amazing and the views of Charlotte Amalie and the harbor are stunning and worthy of the guest house’s name. Highly recommend and we will return! Thank you Libby and Marshall.

My friends and I thouroughly enjoyed everything about the Island View Guest House. The rooms are perfect and as cool as you would like them. The views are incredible and can be enjoyed from your room, pool, and while dining. Chef Marshall prepared some of the best food I have ever had. The enire staff is great and I can't wait to return! My friend and I enjoyed our stay here. The view was fantastic, the room was updated, comfortable, and the hosts were accommodating. They even helped out with a package I was trying to receive from home--my passport...lol. We had a suite with a nice "kitchen" area (sink, fridge, microwave and coffee maker) sitting area and a large patio. We sat for hours in the lobby area and patio enjoying the honor bar and view. It was the perfect kickoff to our catamaran trip. The breakfast was a great start to the day.

I really enjoy this tucked away beauty. The view from the restaurant / lounge area is calming and beautiful. Each room gives a different feel and view. Libby & Marshall are fantastic hosts. Repeat guest. Will continue to frequent, when on island.

After a day of flight cancellations left us the last passengers at the airport, Island View guesthouses welcomed us with open arms, comfy rooms and one of the best meals we have had. They even kept the restaurant opened so we could have a meal upon arriving. Charming, warm and OUTSTANDING personal service.

Island View Guest House is an absolute gem in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands! Waking up to the serene beauty of the ocean and lush surroundings was a highlight of our stay. Nothing can beat the location and the view from your room with the perfect view of St. Thomas Island. The on site restaurant is a culinary delight, thanks to the excellent Chef Bishop. Every meal is freshly cooked to perfection, using the finest local ingredients! The flavors are vibrant, and the dishes are both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Dining here with the stunning backdrop of St. Thomas is an experience we will cherish forever. Island View Guest House also offers complete amenities, including on site laundry, making our stay even more convenient. The helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, adding to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the place. If you’re looking for a place that combines the BEST HOSPITALITY, BEST CULINARY EXPERIENCE, and BREATHTAKING VIEWS, ISLAND VIEW GUEST HOUSE is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Dining at Island View Guesthouse and Steakhouse was an absolute pleasant experience for me as an island resident. From the attentive staff to the ultimate Chef Marshall Bishop who came out periodically to converse with his guests; the perfectly balanced flavors of the Appetizer, Entree and Dessert, the atmosphere and the View! Super deserving of each star! Won’t be my last visit.

This place is a must go! My wife and I have lived here for almost 4 years now and it's been one of the top meals we've had. Atmosphere is great, service was top notch. The food was amazing. If the short rib ravioli starter is on the menu the night you go... ORDER IT. We will definitely be back!

We recently held a graduation party at the Island View Guest House on St. Thomas, and it was absolutely fantastic! The venue was perfect, with breathtaking views that everyone loved. The scenery added a magical touch to our celebration. Marshall and his wife were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and ensuring everything went smoothly. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the beautiful location and the wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for making our event so memorable. Highly recommended!
