Been a couple times now with my family, great entertainment for a couple of hours and we will be back again soon. It is good that you can order food too at end of your games or in between them as a break.

Had such a great time. Grove gave amazing tuition to get all members of the group throwing and landing an axe 🪓

Went axe throwing for the first time here, the guy there was great at explaining everything and especially helping me correct my positioning to actually hit the board. There was a good variety of games to do with the axes and it was great fun to be able to compete with my friend

We visited on Sunday the 9th for a birthday activity, we loved it the owner was very friendly and welcoming, loved throwing the axes especially at a certain someone! Haha, would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again :)

If you’ve ever wanted to channel your inner Viking (or just take out your frustration on a wooden target), Johnny Throws in Llandudno is the place to be! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the legendary Manager Grove, who is clearly part axe-throwing expert, part motivational coach, and 100% legend.

My wife, daughter, and I spent a thrilling hour hurling axes at various projected targets in the throwing cages—some hits, some misses, and a few that made us question our own hand-eye coordination. But with Grove’s expert guidance (and patient encouragement), we were soon landing throws that would make a lumberjack proud.

The setup is brilliant, the atmosphere is buzzing, and the satisfaction of hearing an axe thunk into the target is unmatched. Highly recommend for families, friends, or anyone who wants to feel like a medieval warrior for an hour. Johnny Throws, we’ll be back—sharpen your axes and prepare for round two! Brilliant service, very safe environment, really helpful with beginners and helping them to get the most out of the experience. 10/10 will definitely be returning.

Part of the Johnny Doughs franchise, which is great as you're able to have their pizzas in the seated area.

The staff member was very helpful and friendly, showing us how to hold/throw the axes.

The board has a projector that allows you to project several games on the board to play, or if you are so inclined, you can project an image of something or someone to throw the axes at.

£19pp, for an hour. Highly recommend visiting.

Brilliant time playing Darts as a surprise birthday present for my Son. Friendly staff. Great laugh.

had my birthday night out here Saturday 25th. Axes first then darts. OMG it was so much fun never thought throwing an axe at a wooden board could be such a laugh. so many games to choose from on the darts aswell. nothings to much trouble. great atmosphere,
already want to go back 😁
