Gangabal Lakes Trek
We went for Gangabal Lakes Adventure tour with Kashmir Treks last summer. It was challenging for us but very scenic, informative and memorable - a fantastic adventure. Kashmir Treks staff was very professional with friendly admin contact, beautiful accommodation, delicious meals and wonderful guides. Our main guide, Ali accompanied us on the whole trip. Ali is an experienced guide and organiser, very alert for safety, but he is a kind and calm even in stressful conditions. I am a fairly experienced traveller and hiker and I highly recommend both this company and this tour.

Amazing Kashmir Trip
We had an amazing trip in Kashmir! Shakeel and Mosin were amazing guides with such an extensive knowledge of what they were doing, conservation, hiking and explaining how to do everything perfectly. The jokes and getting us to push our comfort zones were terrific. I felt completely safe and comfortable the whole time. Learning about the conservation efforts taken by the company was great, with the guides being able to answer questions that the group had. Meeting Mir was fantastic. This is an experience I will not be forgetting, and I can't wait to come back again!

Amazing mountain scenery
We did Tarsar Marsar plus Kolahoi Glacier trek over eight days at the end of September and start of October. We were incredibly lucky with weather, with just 10 minutes of rain. No midges either.
The scenery is breathtaking and throws up lots of changes. It’s a tough walk. Most days start with a couple of miles of uphill climb and for most of the journey the ground is uncomfortably rocky. The hardest section is Kolahoi Glacier.
The final section from Sundersar to Sonmasti and to Sumbal is the longest journey. There's a choice to stay at Sonmasti which we didn't due to addition of Kolahoi.
However it is a hugely satisfying trip to have completed and we were lucky to find our host Kashmir Treks. Very friendly people and professional.

Trip of a Lifetime
I booked my trip to Kashmir through Kashmir Treks and hiked the Tarsar Marwar Trail. It was one of my favorite trips and one of the very few that went so smoothly. Everything was perfect, ( well maybe less rain) from day 1. Mir handled everything and right from the start it was all amazing. He provided me with all the information I could possibly want. I knew exactly what to bring, what to expect and what to do in any situation. But there were none, everything was perfect . Even in the rain the scenery was breathtaking. You do need to be fit and you especially need really good raingear. I also have to say the food and service at the Kashmir Treks was excellent. It truly was a trip of a lifetime.

I had a great marvelous time with kashmir treks. It was absolutely a beautiful experience . I really felt home like... The team was so awesome and kind.. Their hospitality their care is something really to appreciate.

My friend and I recently trekked Great Lakes with Kashmir Treks and this company really did so much for us to make our experience enjoyable and unforgettable.We absolutely loved everything about this tour. The guiding crew were fantastic, we were taken excellent care all times.The hotels and food were wonderful. We all feel confident to continue booking our future trips with Kashmir Treks. Fabulous but steep hike.
We did Kolahoi Glacier Trek after the ease of Covid. We got our trek booked and managed by Kashmir Treks. The trek was a steep climb on the day first. We crossed bailey bridge at Gagangear and started our hike.
The views are stunning . Start early, wear comfy sports clothes .I had some shorts on, vest and long sleeve top and running trainers on. Second day was easy enough. It was lovely walking through the meadows. The icy streams and the snowcapped mountains were breathtaking. It was a wonderful experience to camp near the nomad shepherds. The small alpine lakes added to the barren landscapes. Thank you Habib our guide for all your support.

It was such an amazing experience for me like i was on a trekking and through out the way i never felt like being in a strange place ( different place) or with strangers .. Their hospitality is so amazing ..they are so kind that u can feel their warmth ...and believe me kashmir is such a beautiful place for activities like trekking ...had a lot of fun while trekking ! ...i would recommend it to all that everyone should use their service to experience the same ??
