Great experience! Very safe, reliable and interesting! This was such an amazing experience! Our guide, Alberto was very knowledgeable about the site and the history of Chichen Itza. It was an extremely hot and humid day but our guide was kind and took us to the shades between the sites, asking to hold our bags and umbrella and really doing the most. I would recommend to get an early start on the day since the crowds and the weather does increase over the duration of the day. We did a private express tour from Cancun. Our driver and tour guide was the same individual. I travelled with my sister. Knowing the typical stereotypes of travelling in Mexico, I wasn't sure what to expect. But, our guide made us both feel very safe and comfortable, especially as women. He was very respectful and even told us some interesting facts on our way to the site and back. There were a few options that our guide did mention for food/lunch, but we brought snacks of our own since the journey was quite long and we didn't want to make any additional stops. We reached back to the resort on time. There are a couple packages Kay Tours offered, but I'm glad we stuck to the Express Tour because both of us really couldn't handle the heat. We also wanted to pay the amount upfront and Kay Tours was able to offer us a separate payment link which we preferred doing. If we ever visited Cancun again, we'd certainly go with Kay Tours. On a different/side note, I have an older model of the iPhone and did buy a SIM card/chip but bear in mind that I still didn't have service at the Chichen Itza site (likely because it was in the jungle/boonies). Perhaps ask around if there is cellular reception available in that area.

Whale shark Snorkelling 5⭐️ Whale shark snorkelling. I done a solo trip on wed 21st august to snorkel with the whale sharks. WOW what an experience. If you’re thinking about doing it, it’s a 100% must. Kay’s tours had everything organised for the most enjoyable experience. Notified the day before about pick up time. Collection from our hotel then off to the marina. Light breakfast supplied on arrival at the marina. Then off to the boat we went. We were greeted by Adolfo and Captain Nestor. Both were 10/10 in making this trip unforgettable. We were then taken out to find these beautiful creature and boy they did not disappoint. After experiencing the sharks we were then taken to Isla Mujeres for an amazing freshly prepared lunch. Again if you’re thinking of doing this and can’t decide. DO IT. I have another week here and I’m tho king of doing it again.

Fun and interesting tour Awesome tour to a beautiful Cenote park. Mauricio was fantastic and took great care of us. He did an awesome job with his Go Pro to get us some great pictures/videos of all the diving, zip lines, etc. This is a great tour to do even in summer, since even though it's hot and humid in the jungle, the cenotes are nice and cool, so you never feel the heat too much.

Private Chichen Itza & Ek Balam tour We did the private Chichen Itza and Ek Balam tour with Hugo and Guillermo. It was a wonderful day! We learned so much about Mayan culture. While Chitchen Itza is a must see attraction, make sure to see Ek Balam, too! Ek Balam wasn't crowded AND they let you climb to the top of the buildings! That was the highlight of the trip for my teen daughters. We also visited a closed cenote, which was amazing. It had zip lines inside and platforms to jump from. Having our excellent guide and Driver meant we were able to make the most of our time. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour We did the classic, private Chichen Itza tour. Our guide, Hisa, was on time for picking us up, and got us to our destinations quickly and safely. He was an attentive, fantastic guide and gave us so much information about the history of Chichen Itza and surrounding areas on the way there. We are vegetarian/vegan and he made sure that we had lunch options and took us to a local restaurant that had delicious food for us. 10/10, highly recommend Hisa and Kay Tours.

Kay Tours, DO IT, worth every penny! What a fantastic experience! We were taking a family vacation to Cancun and wanted the kids to see Chichen Itza. Since my wife and I had not been there in close to 30 years, I started looking online to see what we should expect and ended up reading about private tours on Reddit. I found several rave reviews about Kay Tours, and I am certainly glad I did because it was absolutely worth it. Hisa and Christian were excellent, were very personable and friendly which made the whole experience fun for everyone. The van was very nice and the entire process was very professional. Hisa's deep knowledge of Mayan culture and the history of Chichen Itza made it very interesting for everyone, like having your own personal archeologist along with you. We did the private Chichen Itza/2 Cenotes/Lunch in Valladolid tour and, per the suggestions on Reddit, were picked up at 6:30 am (putting us at Chichen Itza before the fleet of tour buses and ocean of vendors arrived). Very worth doing, it was like having the place all to yourself! A breakfast snack was provided for the 2 hour drive to Chichen Itza, which ties you over until the delicious lunch buffet at a beautiful Hacienda. And the cenotes, wow! Swimming in the beam of sunlight coming through the hole at the top was magical, no other way to put it. I cannot say enough about Kay Tours and how special the experience was, our kids are still talking about it. Thank you to Hisa and Christian for helping our family have a wonderful day and creating great memories none of us will ever forget!

Stop researching and book the “Private Mayan Jungle Trek” We’re a family of four (two teens) that travel frequently. This was one of the most well-organized excursions we’ve ever taken with one of the most intelligent and enjoyable guides we’ve ever met. Beto was fun, insightful, and an incredible ambassador for his country. The value of this experience was much higher than the price we paid. Indeed … best day of our vacation. EXPLICITLY REQUEST BETO! He took what was already a great tour to the next level.

Private Mayan Underword Exploration Tour We booked the private mayan underworld exploration tour and loved it. It was amazing! Our tour guides were fun, informative, and helpful. I was skeptical of swimming in an underground cenote but it was my family's favorite part of our entire vacation. It was unique and wonderful! I highly recommend Kay Tours. Their communication was great and the tour exceeded our expectations.
