I completed my PADI Divemaster course with Khao Lak Explorer, and what an amazing experience it was!! The team is awesome and I want to say special thanks to Alina, my principal instructor who’s been amazing helping me to improve in diving and customer skills. The dive sites in the Similan are all jaw-dropping and having to spend multiple nights on the liveaboard was the best I could have expected 😍 If you’re looking into doing your PADI Divemaster course, you’re at the right place; smiling, professional and helpful team with quality gear, don’t look further!! Merci pour tout 🙏

I was lucky to get Marco as instructor for my OWD and AOWD courses, he is extremely passionate, knowledgeable and professional, it was fabulous diving & learning from you, Marco! Also thanks to Gaby who helped me to arrange both courses and to Theo for replying to all my questions, both of you are very helpful! Awesome experience getting our open water cert! Fanny is fantastic. We did a live-aboard and really enjoyed the food and the friendliness of the staff on the boat as well. Highly recommend

Absolutely the best place to go if you go diving in Similan. I had my AOW course with Seb, he is willing to share, friendly and informative. Would definitely come back if I visit Thailand again.

Tremendous ! On vacation in Thailand, we were recommended by our travel agency to dive with Khao Lak Explorer Diving Center. So we decided to spend our Open Water with them and it was great! Alina, our Divemaster was smiling, patient and very kind, thanks to her and her keen eye we were able to see many species. It was a magical moment suspended in time, I recommend this diving center with my eyes closed!

Excellent peaceful place for khaolak if also very convenient to visit to khaolak and BangNiang few min walk . Owner is very friendly sometime and my friends stayed here . If you wanna relax nice place with local environment then this is best place in khaolak.

Very good but we should consider finding a boat in better condition on the Similan Islands Beautiful dives with very attentive and confident instructors. Only downside: the condition of the Similan Islands boat which is really no longer in good condition. The meals on the boat were, however, excellent.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Completed my PADI Open Water course and couldn't be happier. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable underwater. Diving in the Similan Islands was breathtaking - saw sharks, sea snakes, clownfish, triggerfish, and so much more! The equipment provided was top-notch, and safety was always a priority. Highly recommend this dive school to anyone looking for a memorable diving experience in Thailand. Can't wait to return for more dives with them!

We had our refresher course done at the centre with Theo; he was patient and professional. We dived comfortably with Alina who was very helpful, kind and confident. She was responsive and detailed, reassuring and fun to be with. We had a good time on Koon9, well fed and looked after in many ways by the crews. Dive spots are great. We will be back for more .

Great service/business model from Khao Lak Explorer Dive Shop. Many dive shops in Khao Lak share dive boats, and most have specific dates for 3, 4, or 5 day live aboard. KL Explorer lets you pick your days and nights, providing the flexibility to design your trips around the sites you want to dive. They run you out by speedboat to the dive boats for drop off and pick up. Prices were reasonable and the refresher course we took was well worth it!

I got my Dive Master certification with Khao Lak Explorer and it was a fantastic experience! I can recommend anyone to do a dive course there! The team is very enthousiastic and more than happy to share their experience. Moreover, the dive sites where most of the diving takes place (Similan Islands) are superb. Many thanks to Alina who was wonderful as my lead instructor!
