Kobi is the best in his field! I called him after seeing his 5 star reviews on Yelp for the two commercial electric strike locks that have been giving me trouble. It took him 5 minutes to spot the problems, and another half an hour to fix something that my maintenance guy has struggled two months trying to fix. Besides his superb technical abilities, his efficiency and organization skills are one of the best I have seen in small business operations. I called him yesterday, and he managed to fit me in on the same day at 7pm! His mobile locksmith truck is super organized, and he knows lock parts exactly where they are. Oh, lastly, his charge is very reasonable! I highly recommend him, and will definitely go to him for all my future lock problems!

Before I scheduled Kobe to change a front door gate lock, I heard from several other companies who gave me a wide range of quotes. Kobe was the only person who asked me to send him pictures of the lock before he would give me a quote. I chose his company because of his excellent communication and honesty. When Kobe came over to change the lock he also noticed that the striker inside the gate was broken and not locking properly. He came by in the am and came back later the same day after he bought striker and fixed it. If you want a job well done then this is the person/company to use.

I purchased a used vehicle and needed a duplicate key. The dealership was having trouble cutting the new emergency key correctly. After 2 failed attempts, they referred me to Pickbuster Locksmith. I was able to schedule a convenient appointment the next day. Kobi met me in his mobile van and took care of cutting a new key for my Toyota Sienna. He was fast, friendly, and helpful. Your search for THE BEST locksmith for cars is over! We needed a spare key for 3 of our fiats. It was incredibly hard to find anyone who could even make a Fiat key, but Kobi from PickBuster was so efficient, responsive, nice, and affordable! Kobi loves his job, and it shows through his incredible customer service and professionalism. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing and why it had to be done that way. It was easy to make an appt with him over yelp and when my appt date and time came-- He was exactly on time and even called/messaged me when he was about 10 min away. He drives a large van that is his entire workspace! Everything is organized and it was really cool to see all his keys lined up with a table and toolkit. Tips: - He comes to you! No more fighting your way to find mall parking, or going to an expensive dealership. - All of our keys work and are new and have the car logo on them. - He said if we completely lost our car key-- it would have taken about 3 hrs to do - He was here and done within 40 minutes to make 3 spare keys for 3 cars! -Accepts Credit card, Vemno, or Zelle Thank you Kobi! I do not usually leave reviews, but in this instance I must. I contacted Kobi and several other locksmiths yesterday about getting new copies of the smart key for my aging Lexus, and he responded very quickly, not just making an initial contact but actually telling me exactly what the charges would be. Within an hour we had made an appointment for today, and he met me at my car parked near the Castro MUNI Station and created the keys while I waited. He also discovered a problem with the lock cylinder and offered to repair it for a reasonable price. Very friendly guy, super responsive, explained everything to me, and charged me a very fair price. What more could one ask from a professional? I will be contacting him again any time I need assistance with automotive or residential locks.

I called several locksmiths in a panic when my family was selling my dad's 1955 classic sports car and the ignition key went missing. They all said they couldn't help - except for Kobi at Pickbusters. He asked for the cylinder code and sent a picture showing where to find it, researched the blank (hard to find), sent us a link to a site that would send it ASAP. The blanks arrived in two days, he came to my house at 5pm; tried some advanced software which didn't work, then went old-school - removed the ignition cylinder, used a scope and found the proper cut from that! All the work was done from his van. He replaced the cylinder, and both blanks worked... Truly, all I prayed for and more than I hoped to get. He saved us! You won't find a more skilled or devoted locksmith in the Bay Area. Highly recommend. I won't go to anyone else.

After my husband washed our only car key for our 2010 X5 the fob no longer worked. When ordering a replacement from eBay I thought it would be relatively easy to find an automotive locksmith who could program and cut the key, not so. Kobi at PickBuster was recommended to me *by* the third locksmith I had inquired with. Kobi was able to come that evening, he even picked me up at my apartment and drove me to my car, three blocks away. Altogether it took cutting two new keys took about 15 minutes and he even drove me back to my apartment afterwards. Kobi is a kind, patient business owner, a former software engineer, a good person, and a highly skilled problem solver. Also, his van is so well organized and tidy, he could probably teach Marie Kondo some skills.

I normally don't bother with reviews but I think this business truly deserves to be noticed. I needed a key fob programmed and didn't want to go to the crookedly overpriced dealership to get one, so I asked my locksmith if he could do it for me. He told me he didn't do key fob programming so he recommended Mr. Kobi Shriki of Pickbuster Locksmith. I called Mr. Shriki the next day and was very surprised that he answered the call immediately, identified his business as well as himself, then told me he is with a client and asked very politely if he can call back in an hour. I was very surprised when he called back exactly an hour later and asked me a few questions about the key fob after which, he told me he can do it. I was relieved!... Because the dealership told me the key fob will cost $400+tax, the key cutting at $200+tax and the programming at $200+. All in all, it's about $900.00 give or take a few dollars. We made an appointment for the next day and I was again impressed by his punctuality!... I had just awakened when he arrived. He told me it will take about an hour to finish and again, he finished at exactly the time he told me!... In my mind, I thought is this guy for real?!... I wanted to pinch him to make sure I'm not dealing with an AI robot. And after he gave me instructions on the new key fob, I realized he was human. Hehehe... Get this, he's already charging me half of what the dealership quoted me, and still, he wanted to give me further discount which I refused. I was so appreciative that I gave him a very good tip instead. I would like to give the highest recommendation for Mr. Kobi Shriki of Pickbuster Locksmith.
