Delicious and adorable!

Just walked in and Google says open now, 3:49PM, but actually open at 5:00PM. And Google said it was open since 1:00PM…please fix.

Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences of my life, and not only because the food was bad (it was with the exception of the focaccia and turkey jook). I mentioned to the wait staff that we were not happy with the quality of the food and portions were comical for a restaurant that claims to serve “family style.” Right after paying the check, I was approached by a young person while sitting at my table getting ready to leave who kept walking towards me without introducing themselves asking me how come I did not like the food in an abrupt manner while looming over me. Can’t help to think that this would have not happened if I was a man since their tone changed as soon as my partner (who is a male) asked them who they were - which led them to identify themselves as the owner of the restaurant. I understand the food being bad, service being less than mediocre but the owner’s behavior left a strange taste and honestly, I felt intimidated. Thankfully, I was not alone. Was leaving a cash tip on top of a $300 check for literally two slices of dry turkey and a bottle of wine, but the owner singlehandedly made us reconsider that decision. Also please don’t add oysters to the menu if you don’t have a staff member who knows how to shuck oysters.

This place is so great — food is fabulous, staff is awesome. Just be sure to book ahead!

Meal was great but the unexplained 3% service charge in addition to tipping was a buzzkill

Everything we ordered was delicious - service is attentive, fun special cocktails, desserts that are just the right portion and did I already mention attentive service. This place is for eating and drinking!!

I stopped by to pass some time before heading to a concert. Since my neighborhood mostly runs on a first-come, first-served basis, I didn’t think to make a reservation—but it turns out we needed one. The only available table was outside, and it was on the chillier side, though they did provide blankets, which helped a bit. Still, eating hot food in the cold has its challenges. We ordered a few dishes to share, as that seems to be their style, and the standout was clearly the sourdough bread. We ended up ordering it twice (a bit steep in terms of price, though)! The fish was pleasant and light, but for the price, it didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of portion size. We tried some vegetarian dishes, which were fine but nothing memorable. We skipped dessert, and honestly, it was nice, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit. For us, the value just wasn’t quite there. The server we had was great though.

The pig butchering class was a blast, the food is awesome during each of our visits. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. 10/10 experience. Thank you!

Az étlap évek óta változatlan, kevés tétellel, de garantáltan magas minőséggel. Nekem kicsit hangos, de New Yorkban este nem sikerült még olyan éttermet találni, ami ne lett volna az. Viszont kedves, figyelmes kiszolgálását és remek ételeket kapunk.

Really great food, service, wine and all in a very cool space/location.

We had some real good food here! Loved the trout rillette especially!
