Place is going down hill. What used to be a great place to have party is not anymore. Food quality has gone down. Drinks are very weak but I understand trying to control the people that leave very drunk because of the open bar. The worst is the valet! I was there for an event last night and on this alone I would not return. Most unorganized situation i have ever seen! You wait forever and you keep getting different stories while others get their cars first and noone is yet tending to yours!
Had a company function last night for my wife, we waited 45 minutes at the valet to retrieve our car ,I first asked at the 20 minute mark since people that were way behind us were quickly getting there car's. Had a coworker drive through the parking lot and found our car. I went to the valet office and demanded my keys, there response was we cannot find it so all that time it was a lie that my car was coming. I had to find my keys on the major disorganized key wall. Very unprofessional of a place that's been in business for years. I will absolutely never go back.
Very nice venue for a wedding and or party. The visuals upon entering is pretty and elegant. Though you can tell it's a dated but it works well for a formal look. Party space is big enough for your whole family and their families family. Bathroom is clean no attendants, coat check optional in front. Plus valet parking.
My parents had their 60th Wedding Anniversary December 2025 and let me tell you.......ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! THE SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE AND ON POINT! Elaina and Ana anticipated all our needs. They attended to all our needs and then some. From the time the guests arrived to the moment they left, the whole night was a well run machine. I cannot say enough nice things about this place and truly and extra extra thank you to Elaina and Ana! Thank you for making my parents happy, our guests well attended to and I personally thank you for going above and beyond! I wish I still lived in NY just so I can have an event at Leonard's Palazzo of Great Neck.
My recent experience at Lennords Palazzo was shockingly unprofessional for an establishment that claims to operate at a five-star standard. I encountered a staff member who refused to let me use the restroom and made the situation far more difficult than it needed to be. I had to repeat several times clearly that I needed to urinate, yet instead of receiving basic human consideration, I was met with dismissiveness and attitude.
This level of treatment is completely unacceptable. No guest or customer should have to explain a simple biological need multiple times, especially not in a place that markets itself as high-end. It is extremely concerning that such responsibilities are left in the hands of employees who appear very young and clearly lack proper training, maturity, or understanding of customer service. Age isn’t the issue the lack of professionalism is.
A restroom request is not unreasonable. It is not complicated. And it certainly should not be turned into an uncomfortable or embarrassing interaction. Situations like this reflect directly on management and their expectations for staff behavior. If Lennords Palazzo intends to maintain the reputation of a luxury business, they must ensure their employees treat people with respect, empathy, and common sense.
I genuinely hope this feedback results in real improvements. No paying customer or working adult should ever be given a hard time over something as basic as being allowed to use the restroom. The individual is posted below.
Leonard’s Palazzo never disappoints! The venue is stunning, the service is exceptional, and everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. A huge thank-you to our captain, Fauz, who went above and beyond the entire event. His attention to detail, warm personality, and professionalism truly elevated the experience. We felt taken care of every step of the way.
Highly recommend Leonard’s Palazzo especially with Captain Fauz leading the way!
