Maire made my wedding dress and all I can say is that it was the most beautiful dress I have ever wore. Maire made sure it was 100 per cent perfect. The material was amazing. I will miss my fittings with Maire and her calm voice and nature. Every fitting started with a beautiful cup of tea and a chat. This is only the start of a great friendship with Maire and her sister Therese and many more pieces. If you want an amazing couture piece trust Maire. Thank you Maire for making me feel so special on my wedding day.

I had the pleasure of Liaising with Maire Forkin Designs for my mother of the groom and I could'nt be happier with the results. The wedding took place in the City of London's Financial District in the beautiful Andaz 5*Hotel. Maire's ability to listen to my vision and translate it into a design that was both elegant and perfectly suited for the occassion was truly immpressive. she created a timeless, sophisticated outfit that made me feel beautiful and confident on such an important day.

When I first met Maire I was impressed by the outfit she was wearing. When she told me it was her own creation I immediately knew Maire was the ideal person to design & make my wedding dress and what an excellent choice! I was so pleased. Maire's passion for her work & attention to detail is amazing. She takes a personal interest in her client, quietly observing, while she nonchalantly chats away, measuring not only shape & form, but also the personality of her client! Maire Forkin Designs are Classically Elegant. This is what got my attention initially. She listened to my needs and concerns and designed the most beautiful outfit for my daughter's wedding. From my first consultation and subsequent fittings, she was a joy to work with. In fact, I very much looked forward to our meetings! My two piece outfit is beautifully structured, fits perfectly and is lined with silk. I can wear it again and in different ways. I got so many compliments, but most of all it made me feel wonderful. I highly recommend Maire Forkin's bespoke services.

Marie made me my wedding dress - and I was absolutely delighted with the finished result. I wanted a non-traditional dress - it was short, suit-like and very much in the mould of The Deck, Dior, Chanel. She also made my mother's trouser suit and it was perfect. Beautiful tailoring. We showed her ideas and she sketched it all out making it work for us individually. Marie fulfilled what we were looking for and more. We also really enjoyed working with Marie - she is gracious, fun, charismatic - we built up a great relationship throughout the process. It was important to me that I could re-wear the dress in the future and Marie made it so well I'm looking forward to the next occasion that it can be worn. I would fully recommend Marie for a bride that is looking for something modern and fresh.

Iv had two mother of the bride outfits designed for me by Máire. A French navy silk for Juliette’s wedding and a wonderful shade of mulberry for Rebecca’s wedding. Both outfits were perfect. I found Máire lovely to work with. She is very talented and has wonderful attention to detail . Thank goodness both my girls are married now!!!!

Maire was very very helpful a lady to deal with

Having met Maire at the Wedding Fair at the RDS prior to my son’s wedding last December I was instantly drawn to her beautiful outfits. Maire is couture to her fingertips. We arranged an appointment and she understood my requirements instantly and the result was a magnificent two piece garment which was the talk of my son’s wedding. Moving forward to my daughter’s wedding last week she also created a stunning elegant masterpiece for me that words can’t describe. I felt amazing wearing it. I have been following Maire Forkin designer for a while now. Two of my close friends had excellent experiences with Maire for Mother of the Bride and Grooms respectively. I contacted Maire and she got back to me promptly. I was totally sure and convinced after my first visit that this was the designer for me although Maire asked me to go away and think about it all. I couldn’t have been surer. I was as high as a kite as were my two critic pals whom accompanied me on the day, Maire does elegant long lines that give you a beautiful figure no matter what size you wear. Her workmanship is pure couture and she has such an eye for perfection down to every last stitch. I had four visits in total and it would have been three visits had I not to have the dress taken in slightly. Maire is the gentlest kindest lady with such a talent for her amazing timeless pieces that are so beautiful. I have to give a mention to her lovely sister Therese who helps Maire with the administrative side of the business. I honestly loved all my visits to Maire Forkin and cannot wait to wear this stunningly beautiful timeless dress and cape at my sons wedding next week. I’ll be a returning customer for sure. I can’t recommend Maire and the complete service she provides high enough advising and guiding to make sure you look the best version of yourself on your special occasion. Photos to follow in a week.
