Dear Sophie,

I understand you were a guest at Jade & Jake Murdoch’s wedding this Saturday.

I’m sorry we could not offer you the children’s Mac and Cheese. We were given the number of children in attendance in advance, and therefore catered to this number. You were one of the first tables up and hadn’t fed all of the children by then. So if we had given you the Mac and Cheese ,we might of risked the children being unable to eat. And nobody would have wanted that!

I strongly refute that the food was “awful” . I have been in contact with Jade and Jake today . They loved what we did for them, they, alongside two of their guests ( Jade Murdoch, Sarah Meggs and Olivia Monaghan), have all left us 5 star Google reviews - praising the food and service. We had catered for all the dietary requirements that were given to us by the bride and groom. There were three different mains on offer to you. So I wonder if perhaps they were not to your personal taste. But they were the options chosen by the Bride & Groom.

Our kitchen team did ask you to go back at the end to see what they could offer you. They couldn’t of stopped and prepared something else for you at that exact moment as it would have meant the 60+ guests who did want what was on offer, would be left waiting while they prepared you something. They had pasta left they could have made into something for you, also rice, fresh salad items and so on. They did also have some Mac and Cheese left over which would have been given to you happily. Our lead chef, did see the person you were with as they didn’t see you return, and told them, that if you wanted to go back they had some left as a few of the children had actually eaten from the adults menu.
