I had such an amazing day at Matrix Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics Academy. From the initial point of contact with Alicia, everything went absolutely smoothly. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and really puts you at ease. My trainer Charlene was absolutely brilliant. Everything is provided for on the day, so you just bring yourself. Charlene is an excellent teacher, brilliant communicator and extremely knowledgeable. I loved every second being there. I also love that during teaching of the Japanese Head spa Charlene books the training in small groups. There were two of us in training and therefore able to learn better as opposed to large groups, where absorbing information can be lost in translation. I wish I had another day at Matrix just to hang out for the day. It honestly felt like being with a group of girlfriends which made it all the more fun. Professional and really enjoyable. I had such an excellent days. Thanks you to everyone but especially Charlene who taught us so well ! Love and blessings to you all xxx

I’ve just completed my Barbering course with Charlene, I had an absolutely amazing time she was so informative and professional throughout, I had a really lovely time training, i’ve gained some amazing confidence with the help of Charlene. I found the whole experience great, really easy going and wonderful surroundings. I would most definitely recommend. Thank you so much ☺️

We attended the tiny tattoo course in January 2025 , it was good value for money and we learned all the basic procedures and equipment needed to start tattooing. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to start tiny tattooing.

Completed my training just over a month ago and Charlene and Natalie were amazing. So welcoming and knowledgable. Their tips and tricks have got my business off to a good start and can’t thank them enough. I will be doing future training through Matrix and can 100% recommend.

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE

I was excited to join Matrix Beauty Academy and paid my deposit as requested, with the understanding that I would receive my acceptance letter afterward — as they initially promised. However, after making the payment, they changed their policy and refused to provide the letter. This was extremely disappointing and felt unprofessional, especially since the agreement was clear before I paid.

It’s unfair to change terms after a payment has been made, leaving students stuck and uncertain about their future plans. I trusted their word and expected better communication and transparency.

I hope they reconsider how they handle such situations in the future to avoid causing unnecessary stress and frustration for others.

Very unprofessional in their emails. Refuse to refund and also refused to accept candidate to course. The claim they changed their policy but refused to provide a copy when asked. What a shame!!

The training salon is excellent. My trainer Charlene was very relaxed and knowledgable. Thank you Charlene. I loved my training course. So easy to find, well equipped and beautiful interior. Everything was covered, models well organised and my confidence was confirmed before the end of the day. I really appreciated the help with pricing.

I have had a wonderful experience training with Matrix, firstly with Hydra Facial a few weeks ago and then last week for Lips Masterclass and Non Surgical Rhinoplasty. Natalie and the team are so knowledgeable and welcoming and so are all the clients that come in. One thing which was a real difference from other training I’ve attended is how many practical models you have the opportunity to work with. This is so vital when attending workshops or training and sadly this has not always been the case where I’ve previously trained. Overall a 10/10 from me. Loved every moment of it. An excellent training provider.

From my initial enquiry with Alicia to training with Natalie, ive been put at ease the whole way. Training was thorough and well planned, Small intimate groups, (just 3) mean you are fully supported and leave feeling really excited about the future. Highly recommend Matrix!

I had the most amazing experience of my life. Natalie is a really knowledgeable and sweet person. She loves to share her tips with us. We had a small group, and the course was really intense. I’m recommending this Academy with 100% satisfaction. She answered all my questions and looked after us after we finished the course. ❤️

Wonderful trainjng Experience with Natalie for the Japanese headspa, Natalie made the training thoroughly enjoyable and easy to follow with a breakdown and a step by step process. With a practical on hands training session i felt completely comfortable and able to go on to use this training course independently in salon. Fantastic communication and aftercare as well, looking furward to my next course with Matrix 5☆☆☆☆☆

Had the BEST time this week training with Natalie, I’ve already booked on more courses and can’t wait to go back. I’m not local to the academy but they really were worth the distance travelling for. The whole team are super lovely and helpful couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now xx

Charlene taught me chemical peels and micro needling, such an Amazing day learning how to do these treatments, very professional and calming environment I felt like I could ask plenty of questions without hassle. I’ll be back for more future courses

I have completed a level 2 Hairdressing sours in Matrix Hair & Beauty Academy. Prior to that, l had no previous experience in this industry. I want to thank my teacher, Charlene English, for everything she has taught me. I know that soon L will create many beautiful hairstyles. Tank you again.
