Total scam. Could never get a straight answer from them. They gave me a line of credit and immediately maxed it out. So now I end Up paying interest on the unpaid credit card and on this line of credit. Tally didn’t help, they only worsened my situation. And now I’m dealing with a company that suddenly shuts down without any advance warning. Once again the consumer is screwed.
Robbing people blind. I've been with Tally for a few years and they've only been able to cover 2 of cards, but it dwindled to 1 card over a year ago. The interest I pay every month is insane and doesn't even make a dent in paying it down. It just sits around the same ridiculous amount every month due to all the interest they charge. I've asked multiple times to get a more affordable monthly payment and the answer is always, no. Their emails are automated and rarely answer anything you actually asked of them. Major breach of contract and the best thing tally could do is file for bankruptcy. They failed their customers in so many ways. They are predatory and don't deserve another dime from anyone.
I’m not sure how Tally has managed to avoid a class action lawsuit. They advertise they help you manage credit card debt by offering a ‘credit’ line at a reduced rate. Initially, my rate was 9% but ballooned to nearly 30%. They paid on my cards from what I paid them. I never used actual money from Tally credit line. I decided that didn’t make financial sense for me, so I chose for Tally to stop paying my cards. I continued to pay my credit cards. Even though I don’t actually owe Tally money, they say they’re sending me to collections. Run from this business!
Did anyone ever got into their trap?! I’m trying to fight with them right now to get my account closed and to settle monthly payments. I have recently lost a job and have no source of income at the moment. I am looking for new job opportunities, however, meantime I’m not able to make payments on my account. I have sent out multiple letters, multiple requests to provide a financial hardship assistance and received a response that they’re not going to close my account and will continue charging me monthly interest and APR until the balance is completely paid off. The minimum they allow me to pay is $360 and all of those money go towards their interest!!! On top of that they keep increasing monthly rate, so there’s no way of getting out of it. Instead of paying down my account keeps accumulating more and more outstanding balance. Please, if anyone can provide any type of assistance or advice, I’ll appreciate it a lot. Anything helps.

Stay away. They will not help you get out of debt. I have been trying to do a balance transfer to them and they will do everything not to accept it. Their customers service is awful. You can't do balance transfers online. The only way to do a balance transfer with them is to mail it. I have mailed them a check 3 times and they keep sending it back. We confirmed all of my info is correct. I believe their address is old or fake because nothing shows under that address. I pay 300 per month and they take out 140 for interest.
They seemed great at first. But then they drop out on you because they can. So then you get stuck with an extra bill. They quit doing what they say they will and then drop the option of the percentage discount. Oh and your credit line limit get reduced and they don’t report your good paying history. Only if you don’t pay. Then they are happy to tell all.
For a company who claims to support people in debt and help them knock down their debt with ease, they seem to not understand that debt can take years to pay off. They advertise themselves to help you pay off loans and credit cards all in one place with a low interest loan. Well after a year or so of doing this, they just up and quit. Sent an email stating that they just won't be paying the cards anymore so now I'm stuck still paying off these cards and the Tally loan. I just don't understand why a company would drop this opportunity to collect the interest for themselves instead of it going into the credit card company's pocket. Just disappointing and feels like false advertising.
Please stay away from them. Over a year later, after paying on time every month, my debt is not lower. Myself and seems thousands of other customers recently received a message that one of their investors decided not to work with them anymore and as a result they won’t be paying off my credit cards, with immediate result. So now I am stuck with a forced loan with them at 25.24% interest rate, some hidden membership fee that was suppose to give me access to lower interest rate! I would give them 0 stars if I could. I filed a complaint with BBB.org. You should too. Communication with them is terrible, they keep blaming the investor and not taking my responsibility. When pressed for more answers, they just keep saying it’s out of their hands. STAY AWAY.

I applied to Tally to consolidate my credit card debt. Tonight I received an email from them stating that due to circumstances beyond their control, they can no longer use my credit line to pay off my credit cards. So now I still have to pay my credit cards and the Tally loan back! ! Don’t get roped in!!
This app is highway robbery. They charge a $300 a year annual fee on top of the interest you're paying. They must put this annual fee in small print. I can tell you right now, if I had known about this, I would have never applied to them. Jesus, my American Express card is not even half of that. Jesus Christ, I'd have been better off keeping the credit card balances. You're better off getting a personal loan from your bank.
I unfortunately Had to give them 1 star, they deserve zero. It’s a bait and switch business. The idea is fantastic… Paying debt down and not having to worry about late payments etc. I understand the concept. However, the reality of my experience is a text book Bait and Switch. I found them while researching online as a found a few positive reviews. I spoke with them, applied and was given a credit amount with a low interest rate. Set everything up and like a former reviewer everything was working out well. Then, I noticed things stopped moving in a positive direction. I went to the app and explored the details. Well, I noticed they changed the APR without notifying me. What started out to be an APR lower than any of my credit cards ended up being 24.4% (the highest of all my creditors). I called them and was promised someone would contact me but that never happened. The representative had to point out to me that the cost of everything is rising. Did she think I was calling from another world.
If I could give them negative Stars I would. Do not...I repeat DO NOT sign up with this company. I created an account to see what this company was all about and realized from other reviews that this company is a joke. Come to find out the reviews were not wrong unfortunately. Worst customer service ever. And borderline fraud company. If this review helps just one person not get caught up w/ this company I will feel vindicated from dealing w/ this ** company.

Zero stars! Do not fall for their advertising. They charge you for a “membership” where you get a “reduced” APR. It sounds slightly okay until you realize, the membership payments are broken into monthly installments, AND you pay interest on the membership costs. Not only that, but their monthly payment is much higher than if you stayed with the credit card company. Adding it up, you pay more, and you get nothing - they do not report regularly to credit bureaus - only if you are in arrears. Paying them back as soon as possible to close out my loan with them. They are overly complicated, higher interest charges, and you end up paying them a lot. They are a payday loan wrapped in a shiny app! Avoid them!!
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service or lack thereof. Via email they sound nice, but on the phone the guy I spoke with was extremely rude and not willing to help my situation at all. They are very misleading and charge very high interest rates. I didn't give them permission to give one of my old credit cards a $5,000 loan which is what I am trying to pay off now at an 18% interest rate. I lost my business due to Covid and reached out to all of my creditors and everyone, except tally, was willing to work with me so I didn't have to default. The guy at Tally pretty much just told me that I would have to default. Learning experience from my end that these types of predatory lenders seem like you are in their best interest when that is definitely not the case. I 100% agree with the other person that left the other review about them. Nowhere to write reviews.
I started by transferring a high interest balance to Tally. I was promised a lower payment and after a few months I realized my balance is not moving then they raised my balance to $800 a month for a $5000 balance which is unheard of. They don’t show on your credit report and they have everything so hidden. This is a scam. People I hope you don’t make the same mistake. I paid off the whole balance and overpaid $46. Now they’re saying that goes towards interest! What interests??? When you try to write a review it’s the hardest to find them and it took me to Consumer reports.
