We initially Purchased our property from John Tsironis nearly 9 years ago and it was a pleasant seamless process. When we decided to sell , we had no hesitation in calling John to handle the sale. As previouly he was honest and genuine and kept us informed along the way. He was clear and managed our expectation with his knowledge of the suburb and surroundings. Its quite rare to find someone you can trust in the industry that actually has morals and a sense of decency. Highly Recommend John.

When it comes to real estate agencies in Sydney, I always set my expectations low but these guys managed to surprise me.
We dealt with Tyler and Agatha in the context of an AUD 1200+ per week rental property 30kms from CBD.
From the onset, Tyler who was arranging the showing, arrived about 10mins late to a 20mins opening. That should have rang a bell but Sydney traffic can be bad so we let go. Immediately after securing the contract and 4.5 weeks prior to commencing tenancy, I was asked 5 times in 2 days to leave a 5 star review of their service. The manner in which this was asked was extremely forceful and persistent.
On commencement of our tenancy, we arrived into a house that was not cleaned and not maintained at all.
Garage doors had a broken locking systems and we werent provided the door keys, fencing of the property was not secure (again no key, no lock), pool pump not working, pool gate not latching, huge leak in the kitchen sink, multiple flynets frame broken and fallen, loose tiles lifting by about 5cms at the main entrance and around the pool, loose electrical cables hanging out, the list is huge. Cleaning was also not done to an appropriate standard, vacuuming of 1 bedroom completely filled in our vacuum cleaner, scum marks were present everywhere in the bathroom, there were traces on walls and the garden was completely out of control with overgrown weeds and grass about half a meter tall. Many lights were missing, some hanging from the ceiling, some appliances didnt work and were also set in Chinese.
When reporting those issues to Metro Realty, we were first received by a message from Agatha indicating that she was on training so she will call tomorrow. The next day, Tyler called lecturing me that the house was not new and that I had visited the property (5 weeks earlier, completely furnished by previous tenants) so I should have noticed these issues. We argued for over a week that these were basic maintenance items and that by law this should be fixed. In all interactions the team was rude and unprofessional. 1.5 week into the tenancy (4 days ago), they transferred the property to another Agent. This was a good move as our next step was Fair Trading.

This team is completely incapable of managing a property.

Metro Realty have been managing my property for 10 years and have provided consistent high level management including lots of personal contact when required. The leasing and releasing process through their marketing approach has been fast and efficient with gaining high quality tenants at good rental prices and virtually continuous tenancy.

I have known Jo since he first sold us our apartment in 2018. Since then he and the Metro team have supported us with the management of our property and more recently on its sale. Jo is an extremely knowledgeable real estate professional, and you can trust his advice as it is backed by experienced and a deep knowledge of the property market. With regards to our sale, we had initially listed our property with another agent, which led to a challenging campaign with no result and disgruntled tenants. After starting a new campaign with Jo and his great team at Metro, we saw immediate traction, and the professionalism and speed with which the sale was handled, given our need to sell quickly, illustrates that Jo is leagues from any other agent we have dealt with on the vendor or purchaser side. We went from no buyers, to multiple buyers and amenable conditions and pricing within a few weeks, despite being in the quietest time in the market across December and January. To support the sale, Jo put additional resources on the listing to show the property over the Christmas break, and invested in the relationship with the tenants in order to ensure more favourable open times. These additional efforts were very much appreciated.

Metro Reality have managed an apartment in Barangaroo OSH for us around 10 months. They did a good job with the advertising and quickly found us a suitable tenant, competitive fees and provided a friendly and professional service. Certainly don’t have any complaints to date.
