Jason began tutoring our son a few years ago when he was unable to attend school. Jason was understanding and spent time getting to know him, finding out what he needed to help him to learn. Having not been in school for a while, he had missed a lot of English lessons and always looked forward to and enjoyed his lessons with Jason. Whilst learning from home, the regular sessions enabled him to catch up.
As well as teaching him, Jason has acted as a mentor, giving him time to chat and this all helped hugely in him being able to return to school. He continued his sessions up until his GCSEs and we are so pleased with his results today. A huge thank you to Jason for his outstanding support and teaching, we would not hesitate in recommending him to others.
Jason and his tuition were brilliant this year preparing my daughter for GCSE’s we used one to one and group sessions all were really useful and so helpful! Thank you!
Highly recommend Mr Gilman to others, my Daughter was really struggling with English and has just passed both Literature and Language. She would not of been able to achieve this without having the tutor sessions with Jason. My Daughter is also Dyslexic and Jason knew how to teach in a way that would be understandable for her.

My 13-year-old son absolutely loved the 8-week Raspberry Pi & Python course at Clevedon Library. He went in with a small amount of coding experience and came out confidently building and programming his own robot!
Each week built on the last, starting from blinking LEDs and ending with a fully autonomous robot that could follow a line and avoid obstacles. The lessons were clear, hands-on, and perfectly pitched for beginners, while still challenging enough to keep him engaged and excited.
The small class size meant he got plenty of one-to-one help when needed, and the friendly, knowledgeable tutor made the sessions fun and inspiring. He’s now talking about all the projects he wants to try next, and I’ve noticed his confidence with technology has grown hugely.
I can’t recommend this course enough for any young person interested in coding, robotics, or just making cool things. It’s practical, creative, and a brilliant introduction to real-world programming skills.

The Spanish for Beginners course with Nuria this year has been excellent - Nuria is lovely and the class was very friendly, even visiting Venga for a lesson! I was worried that it might go too fast or too slow for me, but it was well paced for all of us. Highly recommended!
My son has recently begun English lessons with Mr Gillman. Mr Gillman has already built a great working relationship and has given my son the confidence to believe that with work, he can be successful in English.

Our daughter was struggling with English in her final year of senior school and someone recommended Mr Gillman and how glad we are to have found him!
The difference in her actually enjoying English is like night and day! Mr Gillman has an amazing way of working with how that child individually needs to understand the subject - he works with them not against them, ensuring it is all going in.
Mr Gillman has such a good rapport with all the children, she actually enjoys going and it’s not even a chore!
Her results in the mocks went up by a couple of grades and we have high hopes for the final GCSE’s.

I have been very impressed with the service offered by Mr Gillian tuition. Luke is always up and ready for his weekly tuition which shows more enthusiasm than he had for school lessons. He enjoys working with you and feels more confident this time.
The additional services on offer with extra sessions before exams and the supplementary materials available, shows your commitment to getting the students through. Unfortunately we haven't been able to take advantage of those due to other commitments.
Identifying tools to help Luke with his reading has been passed through to college and will hopefully help him to pass his English this summer.

Mr Gilman has been a bit of a lifesaver for us as a family.
Prior to starting with Mr Gilman my son had not been to school for many months. He was awaiting an EHCP and was incredibly anxious.
He was nervous about meeting Mr Gilman but from the very beginning he has felt safe and secure, has had fun and above all is really enjoying his lessons. We have now increased his sessions to two a week which he really looks forward to.
This is all part of helping get him back into society and eventually back into school. Not only that but his confidence has really grown and his English has come on leaps and bounds as well!
We will always be grateful to Mr Gilman and the team.
