Highly recommend. They were so nice and considerate. Every step of the process was easy and you can do the majority online. We were able to put together a beautiful obituary with the assistance of the online system. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with any questions or concerns. The process was seamless especially during such a difficult time. Their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

On December 22 of 24, my Trans 20 year old Son passed away. My son, due to genetic and hormonal issues was over 600 lbs at the time of his passing. Mississippi Valley was the only funeral home that would take him. They took him in without hesitation and did it without pressure to purchase anything extra even after learning we had a good deal of life insurance for him. They where kind and compassionate, and took every request into consideration. My husband did not take our son's passing well, and passed on March 1st of 25 from heart brake, without hesitation I again called upon MVDBC, and again they took care of everything as I wanted, and even denied my offer to pay upfront due to some issues with my husbands life insurance. In fact the only one that had issues with how everything was handled was my mother, because 5 years ago she had to pretty much pay for all my BIL's final cost and it was 4 times the amount for just the cremation then I paid for the cremation and a private un-embalmed family viewing. Further more because we where not pressured to have an immediate funeral, we where able to plan celebration of life's that truely reflected our son. I'm now doing the same for my husband.
