So many people came up to me throughout the night saying how awesome our music was and how cool it was that we had an emcee. OoAK Events made the night so personal in the best way and truly heard everything we wanted out of it. Our dance floor was fully packed the entire evening. It was hit after hit. Frankie our MC was such a good sport, talking with and dancing with some of our guests, he felt like a friend! And Jayson killed it with the tunes, can’t stress it enough. The feedback has been unbelievable and we’re so grateful to have had them make such an important night, unforgettable! Would give 100 stars if I could!

We had Frankie & Jayson as our MC/DJ combo for our wedding and they were nothing short of amazing. I reached out to Jayson from One of a Kind Events for my wedding, and from our very first call, I knew I was in good hands. He kept telling me that I have nothing to worry about and he couldn’t have been more right. Our wedding was during a Nor’easter with knee-high coastal flooding. My videographer even canceled on me, but Jayson and Frankie still showed up ready to go and threw an UNBELIEVABLE party. The music was perfect all night, and they kept everyone on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. Every guest I talked to said how great the DJ was. I might be biased, but honestly, it was the best wedding I’ve ever been to because of these guys!

Chris absolutely surpassed me and my husbands expectations for our October 2025 wedding! He was super communicative and kind and really took all of our input into consideration for our special day. He absolutely perfected the timing and music for our outdoor ceremony and really got the party started when it was time to open up the dance floor. The add ons we chose, like uplighting for the reception space, was exactly what we had envisioned. I cannot recommend him and OAK events enough!!!

Frankie and Jayson did it again! They've DJ'd basically every wedding in my family for the past 5 years and they just keeping hitting home runs. They bring a positive, energy filled vibe to the venue that can't be matched. Their uniquely tailored approach to providing wedding entertainment makes your special night truly feel like one of a kind. They really know how to bring out the emoitions in the room when they tell your love story. It truly connects all of your guests with the reason why they are there. If you need help making a decision for your wedding PLEASE READ THIS: I've seen people try to take shortcuts with entertainment at weddings and I can't stress enough how much of a difference your entertainment company will make. Not only that, One Of A Kind Events specifically sets themselves apart from the pack. Every person I've worked with from 1OAK takes the time to go above and beyond for you. They also make sure to tailor your experience to exactly what you ask for and then go the extra mile. These guys were the reason why my friends and family came up to me telling me this is the best wedding they've ever been to. Not only that but they are focused on little details that matter. I want to take a second to share a few stories: First, we planned to do a T-shirt cannon since we were doing custom merch. The night before the wedding we found out the T-shirts that my wife ordered got delayed in the mail and wouldn't make it. Jayson went out of his way THE MORNING OF the wedding ON A SUNDAY to hunt down a local T-shirt printer and get us replacements. I'm pretty sure this guy called at least 20 vendors, maybe put a few guys in headlocks, and wouldn't take no for an answer until our custom t-shirts were found. This is just one example of the effort they put in to make sure your big day goes off without a hitch. (The T-shirt cannon was also a major hit and I highly recommend that by the way) Next, we specifically requested Frankie as our MC because of his reputation. Despite the upcoming due date of his child, he still took the gig and took the time to get on a call to prepare with us. Not only that, he assigned Dom as our backup MC who also took the time to prepare with us. We ended up finding out last minute that Dom would be our MC, and on short notice, this man absolutely CRUSHED. Dom got me and my whole wedding party so juiced up right before reception intros that I literally thought I was Ray Lewis about to run out of the tunnel on gameday. My wife had to make sure I didn't wolverine crawl out onto the dance floor and rip my shirt off. Talk about a great hype man, the kid is a natural. The whole night he was never too overbearing, he always made the focus about us, and he made the important moments special. It's not just Frankie, they're pumping out all-star MC's over there!!!! Speaking of all-stars, VJ was an absolute assassin his entire DJ set. There were multiple times on the dance floor where I had to stop myself and ask how this man is managing to keep my entire family and friends from all different age groups on the dance floor at the same time. I literally watched my 95 year old great aunt get in the middle of a dance circle, put on aviators, and start breaking down with my 20-year-old cousins for like 10 minutes. Don't believe me? Look at the photos. The most ridiculous part is that he literally does it all on old-school turn tables. He takes whatever music preferences you want and nails it. Most people don't realize how much of an art it is to get people up and moving onto the dance floor having fun for long periods, and VJ just kept doing it over and over again. From start to finish, these guys made it easy, they made the entire experience fun, and they showed you that they cared and that they would go the extra mile to make your special day memorable. BOOK 1OAK!!!!

Recently used One of a Kind events for my daughters sweet 16. Everything was amazing from beginning to end. Jason was a pleasure to work with. He was on top of every detail to make our party a standout and a night to remember. I received so many compliments. He nailed every last detail. Checking in throughout the planning process to make sure we were getting everything we wanted to make our event amazing! The Photo Booth was a hit! The Photo Booth attendant was amazing helping everyone navigate the process and get their pictures too! Photographer was so kind and acomodating. Any picture I requested her to take, she was on it! Can’t wait to see them all! DJ played all my daughter’s favorite tunes. Dancefloor was packed. Even our servers were dancing while they were working! Everyone had a blast! All I can say is WOW. DJ Valentine was amazing! He took the few songs we requested and made the whole set absolutely perfect! Where do I start. JAYSON & FRANKIE . Jayson was our DJ, Frankie was our MC. They are the ultimate dream team and could not have asked for a more perfect wedding night. The perfect night was achievable because of these guys. The dance floor was on 100 the entire night. They are so talented and they are truly wholesome individuals. From the moment we had our first meeting with Jayson we knew he would be a perfect fit for us. He made the whole process worry free and seamless.
