Ace was never able to go out in public without being reactive to people and other dogs around. After a lot of hard work and dedication and the help of Alivia with NextDoor we can finally go out and enjoy beautiful day's!

Angelique has done such amazing work with my dog! She has a great individualized approach when training dogs and has helped my dog gain more confidence in diverse settings. She is great at training the trainer so that I can continue his training. We are succeeding as a team and she continues to share her knowledge so that we can progress with our goals. Next door k-9 solutions has provided excellent customer service and continues to be a place I trust to board my dog when I need to. I highly recommend Next door k-9 solutions!

Angelique knows her stuff! We were at the point of having to make a really hard decision on our aggressive dog. We were desperate for help and Nextdoor K9 Solutions and Angelique saved us! After the 4 week aggression program, Max has changed into a totally different dog. Angelique gave us the tools we needed to keep up with the training after the program. Consistency is the key! Trainers were very experienced and very helpful! They took great care of my dog sending regular updates! They’re also willing to help you work on other behaviors that may need to be corrected.

I adopted a headstrong boxer puppy in 2022. I underestimated his level of energy and I overestimated my level of fitness to train him well. I have owned many dogs but his behavior was defeating me as he refused to walk on leash. He’d literally sit down and refuse to budge.He refused to come to us and he was digging up our backyard. Basically a holy terror. As a last resort I got him into a 3 week board and train off leash. Our trainer was Olivia and we were very happy with her updates on D’s progress and pictures on instagram. We had never used an e collar before and when she brought him back she spent about 90 minutes with us training US. He came back a different dog. He’s anxious to please and he minds very well. Mind you, he was just 7 months when he went to “boot camp” but he came back ready to be a team player and member of the family. A year later, we’ve continued his training and he walks fairly well on the leash. He can go off leash and comes when called. I’ve not ruled out a refresher course for him in the future. Such a joy to have a well behaved pet instead of an anarchist despot.

They did amazing with my girl Star! She went for a 3 week puppy board and train and she came back a completely different dog. She has better house manners, walks on leash in a perfect heel, and she knows basics so well now! They even dropped her off so they could teach/demonstrate to us on how to keep up with her training which is very important if you want your dogs training and behavior to continue being good. They made Star feel at home and loved on her like she was their own family. Thank you guys so much! I'd definitely recommend them.

I sent my dog here for the 3 week on/off leash training program and I could have not picked a better place for my dog to go! I was a little hesitant to drop my dog off to some random person but when I dropped him off Alivia reassured me and made sure I knew he would be treated like family! Alivia did amazing at keeping me updated the 3 weeks my dog was there and posted on her Instagram daily so i could see his progress. I did not expect my dog to come back a solider but he surely is more well-behaved than I could have imagined and I am truly grateful. When it was time for the go home Alivia was very thorough with showing me the commands my dog learned and how to use the e-collar and prong collar. My dog went from barking at everyone he saw and pulling on the leash to now being able to take him out to eat at restaurants on the patio! Don’t send a puppy. We sent our 4 month old puppy for a 3 week stay for training. When the trainer came to our home we expressed two main concerns: leash etiquette and socialization with other dogs (to curb her unbridled excitement when she meets other dogs). When she came back, she sits a little bit better, lays down a little bit better, has zero leash etiquette, and was “unable to be socialized with other dogs because all of the other dogs were ‘dog aggressive.’” It was essentially explained to us that, “she’s still a puppy” and training was on us. It was also suggested that we send her back for another course so she could have, “off leash training.” We feel like we are little better than square one with our puppy. We were also promised daily updates via text, “except on weekends.” We got maybe 6 texts across 3 weeks updating us on training and several of those texts were received after we prompted the interaction. The trainer has been available to us for questions, but the answer has basically been, “you’re making errors in continuing to train your dog.” We were told any “negative reinforcement” used would be “withholding of treats to correct the behavior” but as it turns out they use a prong collar—which our puppy is scared to death of now. She barely lets us put it on her. All in all it was not a positive experience whatsoever. I would not send our puppy again or any puppy for that matter.

Buddy was sent to K9 for behavioral issues, chasing cars, snapping at people, and just being overly aggressive. Buddy is a 169 lb Great Pyreness which are very independent thinkers, and they are livestock guard dogs, so I guess in my home he guards me. My trainer was punctual while picking Buddy up, but left his truck running to pick him up. I had questions to ask, but since his truck was running, I did not bother to ask. It was a terrible lonely 4 weeks, I could see a video of Buddy once a week on instagram, the video played unknown music and I could not hear the commands. I would have preferred a personal video to me w/o music so I could repeat the commands. Upon Buddy returning home I could tell he was better, but still chases other dogs, cars, trucks. I have used the e collar, but trying to hold a 169 lb dog and send a signal at the same time is a lil much for me. I personally do not feel the $4,000 I paid was worth it, but I signed the contract, no refunds.

Maggie had a great experience from all I can tell! She learned some self-control. She knows Place, release, free, sit, heel, come, and just learned some impulse control. At 14 mons and an active lab, I recommend NextDoor K-9 to all dog lovers who need more discipline with their four-legged friend!!

We sent Ozzy our blue heeler for the 4 week reactivity board and train program. Our expectations were exceeded. After a year of not being able to walk Ozzy, or take him around other dogs we were at our wits end. David was phenomenal. Communication was consistent and helpful. It is obvious that David genuinely cared for our dog and is passionate about his work. Not only were we delivered a dog that walks like a pro on a leash, we were delivered a dog that had an absolute blast. If you are looking for a solution for your dog you found the right place. Worth every penny.

We could not be happier with the service provided by Zack and the Next-Door K9 Solutions team for our sweet boy, Max! We originally contacted Zack because Max was in desperate need of the training we were unable to provide on our own due to time limitations and lack of knowledge. Zack is a miracle worker!! His techniques are thorough and he truly cared for and loved our baby just as we would at home. Everything was seamless from start to finish!! The consultation, pickup, weekly check-ins, drop off, and the training session for US at drop off. Max is trained now and happier than ever!!! The results of Max’s time with Zack brought tears to our eyes and we will forever be grateful!! We have small children and now, because of Next-Door K9 Solutions, they will be able to experience the joy and excitement of having a dog without being fearful. Thank you Zack!!

Olivia did an amazing job training Dudley. He is a 2 year old that we recently adopted and he had some behavioral issues--fear aggression and being highly reactive were the worst. Dudley is now a complete joy to have in our home. The training gave us the confidence that we can control his reactions in any situation. Before his training we were not able to walk him in our neighborhood because of his reactions to strangers and other dogs. We now take daily strolls that we all enjoy. He now walks at heel position with zero pulling and ignores distractions that would've previously sent him immediately into rage or cowering. Anytime he shows signs of reacting we are able to redirect his attention to us and he is content to ignore everything except us as we continue on our way. This made our already loving bond with Dudley stronger. We can now have guests over without fear. He is a completely different dog post-training and is a delight to have in our lives. Olivia shared daily pics and videos of his progress and communication was a breeze. When she brought him home we all enjoyed our time together as she explained everything about his training and essentially trained us on all of Dudley's progress. We have continued to train him to add to the list of commands that he gladly performs. He is a happy boy and loves to please his humans by doing whatever is asked of him. I have owned dogs all of my life and considered myself capable of training any pup, but Dudley was a challenge and I realized it was beyond my capability. I'm so glad we chose K9! I 100% recommend them to everyone and I will never own another dog who isn't professionally trained. It is absolutely worth the cost.

So my dog blu went for the 5 week training with a woman named Megan. Blu had a few issues and was originally supposed to only be there four weeks, but his trainer decided the extra week would really help him. I decided to pay for the extra week (an extra thousand dollars) so that they would keep the promise of lifetime support. Their process of teaching the dog owner everything the dog learned while in training: One lesson around an hour long. After that, I never heard anything else from his trainer (cause apparently, she quit and no one told me anything about it until I reached out. Blu has been home for over seven months and sadly k9 hasn’t sent anyone out to meet us/help us with any of the issues we are still having. The trainer my dog had, apparently stopped working for k9 right after he left, so they had no one to talk to me about my dog because they had no one who knew my dog! But they never tried to fix that. I expressed to them that I would really appreciate someone to come out and meet us, first off, we need to have someone who knows my dog! I was told the trainer they set me up with was over 3 hours away but she would talk to her manager and see who was available near me. Well, they never sent anyone, no manager has ever called me trying to fix this/figure out what we need. The “trainer” they assigned me goes days without texting back. I was confident in this company but the absolute LACK of support I have received after paying 5 THOUSAND and being promised lifetime support is ridiculous. Please reach out to me and fix this so I can take down this review!
