Nigel did some shutters for our house, and we are so pleased with them. He is very friendly and profession and great to work with. His prices were very competitive and we are delighted with the work. I highly recommend him!

Nigel came to fit a new back door for us, it was measured and installed in less than 2 weeks. His communication was great throughout, and we’re very happy with the result - we’d highly recommend his services.

Nigel is a real find - giving good advice, having excellent design ideas and being so accommodating. We couldn’t be more pleased with the new, secure fitting back door, the cleverly built in wardrobe (which has an interior design that works really well and was Nigel’s idea), the discreet-looking alcove cupboard and the solidly made floating shelves. Everything is beautifully finished, and the work has been completed swiftly. Nigel is an excellent communicator, too, and that has made everything so easy. It’s definitely a five star recommendation from me.

We had a great experience with Nigel, from initial contact and quote for a wardrobe and cupboard doors, through to refining details and delivering the project. Nigel created a full built-in wardrobe with interior organisers, reading nook bench above drawers, and floating shelves. The finished work exceeded our expectations, especially as the room was on a top floor and had some odd angles with wall, chimney breast and ceiling. He was friendly and professional throughout, and flexible when we requested modifications to the original design - we’d happily ask him to do any future work or projects we come up with.

I live in a period property where the front door either needed replacing (very expensive and needing listed building consent too) or repairing. Nigel gave me an honest opinion and I decided to go with Nigel. Nigel did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the end product. We asked Nigel to make a door that matched our existing, original, but very warped Victorian front door. He did an amazing job - it looks exactly like the original but now fits the frame perfectly. He also went above and beyond helping us with locks for another door. Thanks Nigel!

Nigel did a fantastic job with the built-in cupboards and shelving for our living room, plus a couple of shelves in the kitchen. It is exactly what we were hoping for and we are thrilled with the result. We also enjoyed getting to know Nigel; he is so nice, and extremely professional, polite and trustworthy. He was very responsive to our requests and had real care for his work. I felt totally comfortable having him in the house and we will definitely be asking him back next time we need carpentry work done.

Great carpentry work on built-in wardrobe and floor work. Nigel built a wardrobe, shelving and set of drawers for our converted loft bedroom, and laid wooden flooring. Nigel had a number of ideas to maximise the space under the small sloping roof area. He was also very accommodating of changes I suggested. The final work was excellent. He was very communicative throughout and is generally just a very friendly and hard working person. Would highly recommend.

Nigel did a fantastic job replacing our front door. I had a really difficult time finding someone who could replace the door without needing to take the decorative fanlight out, and Nigel agreed to help with what was definitely not an easy job. I’m so so pleased with the results: we finally have an entrance way to be proud of, the door looks so much straighter (everything is wonky in our Victorian home) and I can already tell it’s making a massive difference to the heat loss from our home. We had Nigel install a built-in wardrobe in our bedroom and we couldn’t be happier. Apart from being a great use of space it looks fantastic, elegant but also very unobtrusive. Nigel was super easy to coordinate with and once we had agreed the design the work was completed incredibly quickly and efficiently, with no mess to clear up at the end. Can’t recommend highly enough!

From my experience, Nigel’s work is great and working with him is great. He listened and talked with me about the ideas I gave him for the design of the cupboards I wanted, then he built the cupboards in his workshop, and fitted them so quickly, and with so little mess and fuss, it was amazing. And they look great. He is friendly, easy to get on with, and does a great job. Very happy to recommend Nigel.

Nigel has done an excellent job repairing the window frames in our house. The job wasn’t straight forward as the window design is modern but he took the job on, kept to schedule and did an excellent job repairing them. Would definitely recommend

We cannot recommend Nigel enough. He was professional from start to finish and did a lovely job on our cupboards and shelves. He worked with us to accommodate our design ideas as well as meeting the reality of our space and requirements. It’s rare that you actually enjoy having the process of work done on your house, but Nigel was the exception to that rule.

We hired Nigel to create a new hardwood front door for our Victorian house in Hackney. I emailed Nigel and he promptly came around to look at the job before sending a detailed quote. Nigel then made the door and installed it on site and painted it. It looks fantastic and is very secure. I am super happy with Nigel’s fantastic service, and would highly recommend him to others. I'm absolutely delighted with the job Nigel did for me - hanging a new front door. He transferred the old locks, and added new furniture too. The last door was wonky and the new one looks fantastic. I'd definitely use him again.
