We had an excellent experience with NYKB, which renovated our bathrooms some years back. Recently, Elay came by on very short notice to install a replacement light fixture for our guest bathroom medicine cabinet. He completed the installation quickly, perfectly adjusted and aligned the cabinet door, and did it all free of charge. We really appreciate the outstanding service and responsiveness from Michael, Elay and the team. We highly recommend NYKB and would absolutely hire them for a large project again!

My husband and I recently completed a full gut renovation of our apartment with NYKB, and we honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. From the design phase through construction, the entire team was professional, organized, and easy to work with. The designers really understood the look we were going for, and our project manager, Gevanta, kept everything on track while keeping us informed throughout the entire process. He was always available, took the time to explain every step clearly, and made everything easy to understand. His communication and attention to detail ensured the project moved forward seamlessly from start to finish. Any questions or changes along the way were handled quickly, which made a big renovation feel much less stressful. The quality of the workmanship really shows in every room. We're sharing a few of the photos NYKB took after the project was completed because they truly captured how beautiful everything came together. A full apartment renovation is never a small undertaking, but we're so glad we chose NYKB. We're extremely happy with the final result and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable team for a high-end renovation in NYC. Thank you to everyone at NYKB

Perry and the office wer great to work with. He made multiple visits to help diagnose a water leak in my condo, was patient when coordinating access between units proved difficult, and worked with the building to provide the necessary insurance documentation. He gave clear, honest advice throughout and didn’t try to oversell the scope of work. Would definitely use him again for any kitchen or bathroom needs.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We’re especially glad to hear that Perry was able to help make a frustrating situation easier to navigate. Water leaks can be difficult enough on their own, and coordinating access between units and building requirements often adds another layer of complexity.

Perry genuinely cares about helping people find the right solution, so your comments about his patience, honesty, and straightforward advice mean a lot. We appreciate the trust you placed in us throughout the process and are grateful for the opportunity to help.

Thank you again for the recommendation, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can ever be of assistance in the future.

As someone who works long hours, I didn’t have time to manage contractors or chase deliveries, which is why choosing NYKB ended up being the right decision for our kitchen renovation. Maia helped us redesign a very small Manhattan kitchen that had almost no storage. She focused on functionality first, which I appreciated. Every cabinet has a purpose now, appliances fit perfectly, and the workflow actually makes sense. Gevanta managed the construction and scheduling, and what stood out to me was how proactive he was. Also, what I liked about them is that materials were already ordered and stored before demolition started, which avoided delays that friends of mine experienced with other contractors. There were building inspections, shutoffs, and coordination with neighbors that I barely noticed because NYKB handled everything behind the scenes. The kitchen looks beautiful, but more importantly it works incredibly well every day.

Dear Yoav,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for trusting NYKB with your kitchen renovation. We truly appreciate you taking the time to write such a thoughtful review.

It is wonderful to hear that Maia’s design helped transform your kitchen into a space that is not only beautiful but highly functional for everyday living. Creating smart storage solutions and improving workflow, especially in smaller Manhattan kitchens, is something we take great pride in.

We are also very glad that Gevanta’s proactive project management and coordination helped make the process smooth and stress free for you. Proper planning and having materials ready before demolition is an important part of how we work to avoid unnecessary delays and keep projects moving efficiently.

Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. It was a pleasure working with you, and we hope you continue enjoying your new kitchen for many years to come.

I can’t say enough about the skill and professional work of NYKB. I had a total gut renovation of my bathroom a few years ago, pre-COVID. This included the install of beautiful Calacatta Neolith stone wall panels, new bath tub, sink and toilet. Other details are a water heating unit in the shower to make sure the water was hot when turned on, a beautiful recessed ceiling with dimmer switch lights and a shelved wall niche for bath products. Their designer was great to work with. I am very happy for her recommendations such as anti-fog mirrors on the Robern cabinets with a lower small night light, and the Toto toilet which is awesome. They made sure all of the proper permits were completed in a timely manner to insure all electrical and plumbing was done to code and the specifications for my building were met. The entire project was completed in a record time of 8 weeks. They truly stand behind their work. As a testament to their integrity, this week they came back to check on and fix some concerns I had that needed attention which were well beyond warranty. Michael Avidor came to inspect and made a list. Then Elay and team came to complete the work. They repaired towel bars and toilet paper holder. The bottom strip of the glass shower door had cracked and was replaced and secured with silicone and the tub and sink needed a grout refresh. All of this was efficiently completed for me. It now looks as fresh and new as the day it was completed. I’ve added photos here. You can rely on the expertise of NYKB for your bath or kitchen project. Thank you Perry, Michael, Elay and team!

After going on 7 years of daily use, our 2nd floor bathroom, completely renewed by NYK&B in 2018 is still beautiful and functioning perfectly. One hiccup, the seat dampeners on our Koehler toilet stopped functioning. The seat had to be lowered by hand or it would slam down. Our warranty lasted 5 years but we called NYK&B for help. Michael Avidor dropped by, assessed the situation. A simple repair would not fix the problem. Michael recommended we replace the seat and they’d install it. He provided the model # and a local Koehler supplier. He and another technician installed the new seat quickly after we received it. The NYK&B team was courteous, efficient and easy to work with. Photo of this unusually neat Kohler design attached. Thank you NYK&B and CEO Perry for going the extra mile. Raphael & Holly, NYC.

Do not walk, RUN to work with the NYKB team if you want to renovate your kitchen or bathroom! I recently completed my bathroom renovation and I am extremely pleased with the results. The experience from start to finish was so professional and smooth that I decided to renovate a second bathroom with NYKB right away. From the initial planning stages to the final walkthrough, the workmanship, communication and attention to detail were exceptional. Sharonda is a STAR DESIGNER. She went above and beyond in guiding me through the process and was incredibly helpful in translating my vision into a beautiful master plan. I recently completed a full kitchen and bathroom renovation with NYKB, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, transparent, and truly professional. The design phase exceeded my expectations. The NYKB designer took the time to understand my style and needs, offering creative ideas while helping me select the perfect finish materials. Their guidance made the decision making process enjoyable instead of overwhelming. Andrea handled all of the building approvals seamlessly a part of the process that I expected to be stressful, but she made it incredibly easy. She communicated clearly, kept me updated at every step, and ensured that everything stayed on schedule. Michael, the project manager, was exceptional. His attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness gave me complete peace of mind throughout the renovation. He coordinated the team flawlessly and made sure every part of the project was executed exactly as promised. The workmanship itself is truly top tier. The quality shows in every inch of the kitchen and bathroom precise tile work, flawless finishes, and thoughtful craftsmanship. The final result looks like something out of a high-end design magazine. I highly recommend NYKB to anyone looking for a design and build firm that delivers outstanding service, excellent communication, and the highest level of workmanship. I’m thrilled with my new kitchen and bathroom and grateful to the entire NYKB team for making it all happen.

I had a fantastic bathroom renovation experience with the NYKB team. The final result is a perfect 10/10. Noy did an excellent job, constantly level-setting with me from beginning to end. I trusted Maia’s judgment as she has the eye for what looks good and will guide you on what makes the most sense for your space. Maia made my life easier because I knew Maia cared about an excellent outcome. Gevanta was extremely easy to work with and made himself available at all times. He provided frequent updates about his team’s progress throughout the project. Everyone at NYKB was really nice. I love my bathroom! And I would absolutely work with NYKB again in the future.

Michael and the team made a repair to my apartment under warranty (over five years later and past the warranty expiration) when a large light fixture fell from the ceiling. They responded to my concerns quickly, and made sure the apartment was safe and looked great. Really appreciate the hard work and professional response to my concerns!

I renovated my kitchen and bathroom with NYKB. Although the job had a rocky start due to personnel issues once Michael Avidor (project manager ) and Rojda Zorer (designer) took over all went smoothly and they were on top of any changes/problems that came along. Pros: the work is fantastic and my kitchen and bath came out exactly the way I wanted. Also they do stand by their warranty because my job was completed in July and this past April I called Michael because my bathroom sink faucet broke and he came right away and it was replaced free of charge, since it was still under warranty. Cons: I feel the initial contract was vague and allowed a lot of room for increased costs. This is why I won't give 5 stars. I do want to stress that I have absolutely no complaints about the actual work.

Outstanding Service Beyond Expectations! NYKB’s customer care is nothing short of exceptional. Several years after our gorgeous NYKB kitchen was installed—and even though it was technically out of warranty—the team went above and beyond when a handle came loose on our dishwasher panel during the installation of a new appliance. Their response was swift, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. This experience is a testament to NYKB’s commitment to quality, attention to detail, and unmatched follow-up service. No matter how small the task, they treat it with the same care and precision as a major project. A truly top-tier company from start to finish—and beyond!

We purchased a new apartment in our building after falling in love with the view but quickly realized we needed to renovate an older model kitchen which was walled off from our living room, and re-do our master bathroom. We had a general concept of what we wanted so we began speaking to several contractors. Immediately, from our first meeting, we knew NYKB was the design and renovation firm for us. When you are doing something as intimate and as important as designing and renovating your home, relationship and communication is of the upmost importance. NYKB treats you like family. They completely understood what our vision for our home was and began working on a plan for us. Perry could not have been more helpful in discussing our vision with us and guiding us through the entire process from our first consultation to the end result. Nick and Ellen on their design team were vital to us in helping choose color schemes and materials that perfectly fit into the vision we had for our new home. Tracie took care of ALL of the back-end paperwork, we never had to deal with certifications or building permits. Their project manager Steve made sure the project stayed on track and took care of every single little detail concerning construction. The fact that they have a showroom made the process even easier for us, and was very helpful in influencing some of our design ideas. After discussing plans and choosing materials we were presented with an in-depth walk through of what our future home would look like. We were blown away by the professionalism and detail that went into our presentation. Construction started immediately and was done well within schedule. We could not have been happier with the result. NYKB was able to work around structural building infrastructure to give us the open kitchen and living room we always wanted. They designed, created, and installed a custom entertainment system for us based on our needs and wants and integrated fully automated entertainment, lights, and shades into one handy unit for us. We now have a home both perfect for entertaining and socializing, as well as raising our young child. Our master bathroom is truly elegant and modern, it feels spa like. We also had NYKB re-do our floors which came out amazing, surpassing even what we could have imagined. Everything from painting, to lighting, tiling, plumbing, cabinetry; was done perfectly. We were so impressed with the work they did, and the relationship we forged with them that we have hired them to do renovations at another home of ours. Stay tuned for those pictures!
