I felt they were very honest and thorough. It was our first inspection of our fireplace and chimney cap. They didn't try to sneak in any extras, they just charged us for the cleaning and inspection. I will do business with them again.

A pleasant experience all the way around. The office staff were nice and responsive to my needs. Ron came out about a week after I called and fixed my gas fireplace in about 1 hour. He did amazing work, and I even had some electrical wires that were burning so he not only saved the Holiday Season, but my home as well.

Just had our chimney swept and inspected by Original Chimney. The company kept us informed and sent reminders before the appointment.They showed up promptly, in fact ahead of schedule but, called to let us know. They were thorough with the inspection and quickly cleaned the chimney of years of soot. They left the area spotless! They took many pictures and sent an itemized proposal for work that needs to be done along with the pictures. Ryan was very informative, polite and friendly. I would hire them again, no question.

These guys are just the best of the best!! They gave great advice when I was worried about continued use of a real wood burning fireplace, quoted competitively for installing a gas insert, took the time to come and visit more than once prior to the install and were totally unpushy about selling (NOT something I can say about other suppliers we spoke to). We decided to take the plunge and had a gas insert installed a week or so ago - Ron at Original Chimney advised us on how to have the gas run to our fireplace, what unit suited our budget etc. He taught us so much! And on the day, the installation was quick, clean and super professional. No mess, no fuss. I would recommend them to anyone wanting any chimney services, whether it be sweeping or full on conversion. Great team of honest and caring people! Ron is the best!

I can't say enough good about Original Chimney: friendly folks who'll call you back ( a rarity among contractors, these days), keep you updated and show up when they say they will and then perform acrobatic feats of bravery upon a steeply pitched roof. 5 Stars!
