We really want to thank Sasha for making our anniversary celebration so special. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and celebrate our special day! Definitely one for the books!

Absolutely amazing experience. The food and drinks were terrific and the restaurant was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. It had a very intimate vibe while still receiving quality service with our meal.

Food was bland and flavorless, atmosphere was nice and service was good. Dessert was good. Not worth the price.

Welcome to the Tavern on the green of the west village, where everything is painfully outdated, extremely expensive, and filled with creepy old men and tourists in hoodies. Was there 45 minutes and all we got was oke undrinkable drink. Could probably be a good place with new management, but this place is living in the past, while saying way ahead of inflation. Awful.

Terribly outdated and not the best experience from start to finish. Hostess sat us at a dirty table, it took 25 minutes before the server came to our table, and after finally ordering a drink we were served poorly tasting beverages. 45 mins later, we left drinking half a drink, sad our anniversary was spent here, and not a fan of the overall establishment.

my partner took me here for my birthday - a restaurant i’ve been looking to dine in nyc :’). had high expectations but their service fell extremely short. we waited a while to get some of our food, they were checking in on us constantly or didn’t when we flagged them down. food was okay - we had the thanksgiving pre fixe dinner, we enjoyed the pasta and branzino! but that’s pretty much it - don’t think we’ll come back again.

We celebrated our anniversary here and I'm so glad we did! This restaurant is super romantic and is a perfect location to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed both the service, as well as the food and drinks! The have beautiful roses and candles set at every table - really helps with the romantic mood. Price-wise it was also not over the top expensive, and in my opinion quite worth the experience. For reservation, make sure to book at least a month in advance and request to sit by the windows if possible. Do mention what special occasion you are celebrating! Food wise - I especially liked the Beef Wellington - the beef on the inside was tender while the outside crust was flaky to create that contrast texture. The mushrooms in between was super flavorful and created a really nice in-between layer. I honestly thought it tasted better than the Beef Wellington I had in Gordon Ramsey's Atlantic City steakhouse. My second favorite was the seared foie gras - super tender and given it was served warm, takes away the stickiness in the texture and adds aroma. The Seared Maine Scallops were also pretty good, although pretty typical, and the Lobster risotto was a tad too sticky. For dessert - I loved loved the Raspberry Napoleon!! It was many layers to the right flaky texture, and fruity and sweet to perfection. The chocolate mousse was also very good, just nothing too out of the world for chocolate lovers. Drink wise - We ordered a cabernet sauvignon to to add to the celebration atmosphere, and it also went well with the food. Overall I triple recommend this place for celebrating anniversaries and birthdays, will try to bring my parents here for a future night!

Amazing restaurant and warm elegant atmosphere. Went for the chef's 7 course menu. Every dish was outstanding, but go hungry cause you will walk away if not roll away from being so full!!! The service was impeccable like you were eating at a Michelin star restaurant. All the employees work in unison and ensure everything is looked after. Nick was outstanding and ensured are special night celebrating are proposal was a memory we won't forget. Weather your local or coming in from out of town, you won't be disappointed coming here!

I loved the vibe of this place! The service was great as well. We did their prefixed menu and the food was great. This is the perfect place for a holiday dinner as they also have a pianist to add to the festive vibe.

Nice place. A bit expensive for what you get for the pre-fixe menu, but assuming the best ingredients are used, this does not surprise anyone. Beef Wellington was very good, as was the grilled octopus/pulpo. The drinks were great but the price point is way too high ($22 for an old fashioned). Just because it is touted as a nicer place does not, in my humble opinion, justify pricing a run-of-the-mill cocktail this high. It tasted like every other Old Fashioned I've had, just $7-8 higher. Other than this, no complaints whatsoever. Service was above average and ambiance was superb. Would visit again.

What an absolute gem, we loved it. The premises has a rich history which is interesting. The food and service were first class. It expensive for sure, but worth it for a spoil.

Had a reservation and waited over 30 minutes for table. Were charged $20 for more water. Food was way below average and very expensive.

We love going to this romantic restaurant every year for our anniversary. We had Sasha as our server and she and the team were fabulous. And of course the beef wellingtons are our favorite. Great date night out!

I loved the food and the service was amazing. The ambience of the restaurant was very romantic, went there for our anniversary. We had the chef tasting and it was delicious. The waitress Sasha was very attentive, as was the waiter Kazi. It was a bit pricey but for a special occasion I would highly recommend!

One if by land and two by sea was a fantastic experience. I’ve heard so much and been recommended this restaurant I just had to try. So I came with my partner for our anniversary and we are so happy we did. Our servers Sasha and Kazi were pleasant and attentive. We had wonderful small talk and they really took care of us. Such a memorable and romantic experience. I’ll cherish it highly.
