If you are in any doubt about using this service, go into town and have a chat with any of the shops that offer the same service as Alex. You'll likely get fleeced if you don't understand what you're paying for. This is a rare gem in the rough, I've been coming to Alex for a couple of years and I send payment long before I even pick up the laptop, not just out of respect, but out of complete trust. I can't emphasise how rare it is to find someone who will have your best interests and try to minimise work/costs if possible. he's a great bloke.

now that’s honesty and integrity a++
it’s not ofen you find a supplier or engineer that won’t fleece you. i have had several repairs with alex hence why i reached out to him to source a legacy interface card. alex could of sold me one but instead gave me the direct link when i could get one saving me money, and alex didn’t want paid for helping what took me previously 2 nights trying to source including reaching back to the original pc manufacturer. all i all i can’t recommend alex highly enough. his honesty and integrity are second to none. a true gent

Great service from Alex, very highly recommended. Took my PC in on a Sunday, upfront with the costs (& even transparent about how I could save myself some money), prompt response throughout. In the end, my issue was with a cable and not the PC itself, and I wasn't charged anything for the trouble, which was an extremely decent gesture. I can only echo all the other five star reviews. Amazing service.
I thought my gaming laptop was beyond repair when it was crashing and blue screening constantly, but Alex fixed it in under 24hrs.
