Alex did a brilliant job with our little frenchie! In the house and out of the house he is like a different dog now! Would highly recommend!

Honestly cannot rate platinum k9 enough my boy bjorn was with them for 3 weeks and what a difference and the way they train you after so you can understand your dog more is brilliant highly recommend 12/10 top people

Complete rubbish. We got charged £2,500 to help with our aggressive dog they had him 3 weeks and nothing has changed. All they seem to know what to do is help a dog walk properly on a lead snd teach them to understand what bed is. Complete cons. Bottom line is if you can't help aggressive dogs you shouldn't have taken our money saying you could. He has just been turned into a very nervous dog and still has to be kept away from his brother.

The family's four-year old blue Staffy, Ronnie, spent four residential weeks at Platinum K9 in September. Ronnie was highly reactive, anxious and could be particularly threatened by men due to a bad experience early in his life. The team took Ronnie under their wing and kept us abreast of his training at all times during his stay via our dedicated WhatsApp group. We could tell via these messages and videos that Ronnie was settled and happy during his stay, which was very important to us. The team undertook a thorough handover with us when we collected Ronnie at the end of the four weeks, focussing on what we should do in the home environment to enforce the training. Ronnie has now been home for three weeks and there is no question that significant progress has been made. He responds extremely well to instructions, is a pleasure to walk on a lead now (he was the classic "manic puller" before) and previous triggers in his life now pass without incident. We constantly reinforce the training and this, clearly, is a vital part of the programme - hence the importance of the handover meeting. I would have no hesitation in recommending PlatinumK9 to any dog owners in the same position. The team are compassionate, dedicated and clearly love the dogs in their care - Ronnie's welfare was clearly at the top of the agenda. Finally, I would like to single Imogen out for a special mention. We could see from day one that she developed a very strong bond with Ronnie and that he was clearly very settled and comfortable in her care - this was very important to us as we were concerned that he would be very stressed by the separation from home. After his refresher, Bryn is much calmer, follows my lead, looks to me for his cues and is a genuine joy to walk with. We’ve had no reactions to dogs barking and lunging, noisy vehicles, cows, sheep or horses so I can confidently walk him wherever we choose now. This better discipline is not just on our walks, but also in the house, with visitors and people/dogs passing the house. Bryn is a big, strong boy but the excellent handover with Alex and Kyran restored my confidence in handling him. What I wasn’t expecting was that Bryn’s better discipline and obedience has strengthened our bond - he needed more structure and guidance and is happier for it. He’s practicing his serious look in the photo here, but he’s still the same soppy buffoon at heart. Thank you so much!

Platinum K9 had my dog simba for 4 weeks training. We are over the moon with their work, and a special thanks to Alex and Alex for taking care of him and loving him like their own. We were really worried going into this as we hadn't been without our dog before but they made us feel so at ease with updates, and the love they shown for our dog. The whole team are great and they've worked wonders with simba. He was very aggressive with other dogs and was disobedient. W their help simba is now well behaved and can easily walk next to other dogs- which was impossible before! It's honestly changed our lives. A huge huge thank you to the team, we are forever grateful.

Our 3 year old pocket bully Sid was very reactive while on walks & had some in house issues & after going with a few different trainers & no change, we needed some help! We came across PlatinumK9 & it was the best decision we made. Sid was in for 4 weeks & from the beginning we had clear instruction on what the training would consist of, we were given updates every other day & a weekly video of Sid's progress. These guys know their stuff!! All the staff treated Sid with the love & care he wanted, while sticking to structered training plan. We have to thank Sid's new bestie Alex especially! When we went to collect Sid, the time, care & effort Alex had put in was clear to see & Sid was able to create such a bond with him! (A big deal for Sid) now we are home & continuing the training & WOW! His walks are so much more relaxed & enjoyable for both us & him! His in house training also continues & he's doing well so far with this too. We have to put this success down to not only the knowledge these guys have, but the effort, care & time they put in too. They really are 2nd to none! Thank you guys so much! 😊

We sent our Weimaraner for a 4 week training to improve his dog walking and domestic behavior. Alex kept us up to date via messages, photos and a weekly video of his progress. Picking up Lupin after tye training we had an about 4hr handover to make sure he keeps his new found discipline with us too. Taking him for walks now is so much more relaxed and it feels like we are taking him for a walk rather than him us. He also much relaxed home and doesnt always seek attention or tries to destroy our couch. We also appreciate the kife long post training support via whatsapp. We had tried other trainers but none had the same success as Platinum K9. They worth every penny and only recommend their service

We’ve just picked our German Shepherd up after a 4 week residential training programme, and the difference in her is unreal. Background - I couldn’t walk her at all anymore, and my partner struggled, as she was so reactive towards other dogs she was literally dragging us towards them when she saw them, lunging and snarling.. We were at the point of only being able to take her to fenced in private fields, for fear she’d get hold of another dog and cause it harm.. She also started going for our small 7 year old dog inside the house, when they’d been best mates for her whole 3 years.. We really struggled with the idea of handing her over for 4 weeks, but after multiple different trainers, we figured it was all we hadn’t tried so we had to. We needn’t have worried, because we were reassured constantly, got almost daily updates of her progress with pictures, and weekly videos with updates of her progress. Gobsmacked that after week one she was walking with other dogs and even ignoring a dog that was going for her! Full focus on the trainers, which had everyone asking me if it was really her or a similar looking dog.. Dan was her personal trainer, and on the handover you could tell that she’d bonded with him - she’s never taken a treat off anyone else before, and he had her literally eating out of the palm of his hand. We think she definitely landed on her feet having him look after her. We were talked and walked through each part of her training and we didn’t leave with her until they were confident that we could carry it on to give her a more fulfilled life. We walked her ourselves, with their support and guidance, past other dogs to show us she isn’t reactive anymore. This training is going to change her quality of life for the better, and our nerves have settled so much seeing what she’s capable of! Wish we’d done it sooner! Unlike other companies, the owner gets involved too! And she clearly enjoyed her time with him too, because she kept going back to him for attention when we went to pick her up. We’ll be using Platinum K9 for boarding for any holidays we have in future, because she really has settled lovely with them and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. It’s so nice to see people who genuinely care about such important parts of our families. If you’re ever in Liverpool give us a text, we’d love to buy you a drink to say thanks!

We have a 3 year old GSD called Ellie who was extremely reactive to all dogs, the occasional jogger and a spattering of other random things. This monopolised our lives, we tried so many training packages, but coming out of Covid we realised she was past normal local training. We blamed ourselves, we never took her to pubs or towns and never had friends or family round with kids. All our walks and holidays centred around huge open space we could avoid everyone so we didn’t have to be embarrassed or worried about her reactivity. We are expecting a baby and thought this would be the time to try something new. Then we found platinum K9. It’s not an exaggeration to say they have changed our lives. Ellie would snarl, lunge jump and bark at dogs on the other side of the street and was almost uncontrollable at times and now with the training, she barely cares. We still continue the training daily but her reactivity is now 2% of what it was and our biggest concern with her is a walking bark. We can now go to pubs, we don’t cross the street from everyone, we walk in towns and overall she is a much calmer doggo. She walks nicely at heel and her training has taken out the stress from simple daily walks to enjoyable walks her our beautiful dog.

We were recommended Platinum K9 by a fellow German Shepherd owner. We were hesitant to leave our 2 year old dog with strangers but it was the best thing we did for our dog. We were struggling with walking Hazel. Well, me, not we. My husband was doing all the walking as my anxiety was getting worse and worse with her reactivity towards other dogs. It got to the stage that I could not walk her anymore. We decided to try Platinum K9. 3 weeks later, we came back to a changed dog. We were taught by Leanne and Alex how to walk her, how to react to her when confronted with another dog and we were given fantastic tools on how to give her and myself the confidence to walk her. Our handover was approx. 3 hours long. We were not rushed and any question, even if we thought was silly, was answered professionally. 6 months down the line, Hazel is still not the perfect dog but she has improved immensely. When my husband was away, I walked Hazel with the confidence that Platinum K9 taught me. I used to move out of the way and cross the street when dogs approached. I now walk straight on and laugh when others avoid us on the sidewalk. We went back to Platinum K9 for boarding when we went away for a long weekend. We will be using them again for boarding. They are professional and take care of the dogs.

We contacted Platinum K9 about our cocker spaniel as we needed help with resource guarding and lead walking. We signed up to the 4 week residential course and have been absolutely blown away by the results having collected our dog earlier this week. The whole process was extremely professional and it is clear that everyone who works there loves dogs which was hugely reassuring. The trainers are experts in their field and provided a really comprehensive handover to ensure we were able to keep up the level of training when we got home. They also provide ongoing support after the training if you have any questions or need further help - it is great to know we have access to their expertise on an ongoing basis. Thanks so much to all the team, we would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone who is looking for support with their dogs. We just wish we lived closer so we could use them for holiday kennels too!

Platinum K9 has literally changed our lives, and we and Luna (Labrador) can't thank them enough. Luna completed the 6 week residential training programme, and it has literally been transformational. Back to basics we have now nailed loose lead walking (even in the most exciting of environments), recall and understanding how we advocate for Luna in a range of situations. We were anxious about leaving her for 6 weeks, but the team are amazing and Leanne her allocated one2one trainer had a wonderful rapport with Luna - it was evident she had been really well looked after. They have a dedicated group chat for each dog, with regular video and message updates. We were able to see her progress with weekly round up videos. We had a 4hour handover at the end of the training to 'educate us'.... We had a lot to learn and this has been instrumental in successfully continuing Luna's training at home. K9 Platinum was literally our last hope, and we can't recommend them highly enough.

We cannot thank Platinum K9 and their lovely team enough for their kindness and the quality of the training on their four-weeks residential program. I was very concerned about leaving her for a month and for her welfare during her stay. It was very obvious when we collected her that she had been extremely well cared for and lovingly looked after. She has learned so many transformative skills, and so have we. The most impactful being the bed, on-lead and pub garden manners training which have all had a significant knock-on effect on her general day-to-day behaviour. She is a calmer, less anxious and happier dog and my only wish is that we had known about Platinum K9 sooner. We learnt so much about our relationship with her during the handover and how changing the dynamics would improve her wellbeing. The frequent videos and photos we received during her stay showed her progress in detail, and reassured us that she was in the best possible hands. Thank you all, and particularly Alex and Imogen, for the hard yards getting her to the point where we can be proud of her responsiveness and behaviour, and continue building on your incredible results at home. Platinum K9 were absolutely brilliant with our dog Nala. She is a GSD and we were having massive issues with reactivity, barking and lunging on the lead, acting aggressive towards other dogs. Every walk had become a stress and a source of huge anxiety. I would wait to walk her when there was a low chance of meeting other dogs, turn and walk away from other dogs if I saw them out, or hide behind bushes to avoid them if I saw one coming. I dreaded walking her, and was close to rehoming her. Platinum K9 was my last chance having tried lots of other trainers and advice over the years. She was incredibly well cared for and I was reassured that they would take care of her and be able to help. They had her for 4 weeks, I felt throughout this that she was well cared for, including being taken to the vets when we were out of the country. We received regular updates, pics and videos. On getting reunited the handover process was great and I saw an immediate huge change in Nala, both in and out of the house. Now I can loose lead walk Nala past other dogs, she barely reacts and if she does I can control it extremely easily. I have taken her places I wouldnt have dreamed of taking her until she spent time with Platinum K9. The anxiety I had around walking her has completely gone and I feel empowered that I can take her anywhere without issue. Thanks to Platinum K9 for fixing the relationship I had with my dog - looking forward to many happy years ahead.

We’ve had our Doberman Arlo back for just over a month now and the change in him has been amazing! The updates we got during his 4 week stay gave us peace of mind he was in the best place for him. Every staff member we encountered were super friendly and professional. Although Arlo didn't come back perfect the guys at Platinum k9 gave us the guidance we needed to continue his training back home. He gets better with every walk and every house visit. Platinum K9 has well and truly changed our lives and definitely Arlos for the better. We will definitely be using their kennel facilities when we go on holidays!

We have a miniature dachshund Pippa who is now 4 years old. We picked Pippa up the day before we went into lockdown in March 2020, unbeknown to us the issues that this would later cause for us alongside admittedly not fully understanding the quirks of the dachshund breed. Pippa is, and always has been a very loving, loyal and well-trained dog, when she was in the house with just myself and my husband. However, if we had visitors she would bark incessantly and when on walks, she was extremely reactive with people, particularly children and all other dogs. It made having visitors and taking her anywhere extremely difficult. We tried many other avenues before contacting Platinum K9; all of the things we tried would provide a short correction but never really get to the bottom of the issue. We reached out the Platinum K9 and spoke to Ben who wasn’t fazed by the issues we were having and suggested a 4 week reactivity course. This was not only a big decision due to the financial element but also because of how long Pippa would need to be away for. We decided to go ahead in July 2023 and can honestly say that it was the best decision we ever made. Pippa was so well looked after, we received weekly videos of her progress and even received a video wishing me a happy birthday whilst she was there!! All the staff Pippa had contact with were so caring and lovely towards her which was evident when we picked her up and saw how happy she was. The training made Pippa understand boundaries and how to behave but more importantly the handover we received helped us to understand cues from Pippa and how to deal with unwanted behaviour. It has been 12 months since Pippa’s training and yes, we haven’t got everything right, there are times when things aren’t 100% but overall we have all gained so much from this and Pippa certainly leads a more enriched life with regular visits to coffee shops, town centres and holidays! We can have visitors in our house without fear of the incessant barking and the reactivity with small children has disappeared which has made family life a lot easier with the arrival of our son very recently. We cannot thank Platinum k9 enough for the confidence they have instilled with us and Pippa. If anyone is reading this and isn’t sure if they should take the plunge…do it! If you are committed to putting the work in when you get home too, you will not be disappointed, it honestly is life changing.. Thanks again Platinum K9 and in particular Leanne, Pippa’s trainer.

We knew we needed to address the issues we had with our boy Reggie, his inability to walk nicely on a leash, he was far too strong for us to walk as he pulled like a steam train. He also didn’t particularly have an ‘off’ switch so we needed some kind of bed training. His reactivity towards other dogs could also be an issue sometimes. I made the phone call to platinum K9 and explained our concerns to Ben, he recommended Reggie attended their 4 week residential stay which terrified us as we couldn’t imagine being without our boy for that length of time. My wife was in tears dropping him off for his stay seeing his little face, this boy sleeps on our bed with our other malinois, his brother Beau. On handover everything was explained to us in great detail, what would happen with Reggie, our regular Watsapp updates etc and we felt a little more reassured. Well the next morning we received very positive updates and was instantly put at ease. During the first week we received many videos and photos of Reggie playing with Kyran, his trainer and it was clear he adored our boy like we did. During the second week his training was going from strength to strength and he was already walking beside Kyran on a loose lead, we’d never seen Reggie walk like that in his 4 years of life! Regular updates and our daily questions answered promptly reassured us massively. I began to worry he wouldn’t want to come home 🙈😂 The four weeks flew by and handover day was quickly upon us. The handover with Kyran and Jon was extremely thorough and we didn’t leave until they were confident we knew what we were doing to continue with the work these guys had put into Reggie. They advised on how to reintroduce Reggie to his brother Beau which went smoothly and from the moment we brought Reggie home Beau has followed and also walks amazing on a loose lead, has learnt to stay on his bed until we release and is much calmer than before. Money definitely well spent! We can’t recommend PLATINUM K9 enough. They have made our lives so much easier and enjoyable, our boys are so much happier. We have booked them both into the boarding kennels with PLATINUM K9 for our next holiday, something we said we’d never do after a bad experience with another boarding kennel. We have no doubt the boys will be loved and cared for while in their care. Huge thanks to the whole team for their amazing work.

Platinum K9 were so fantastic with our Labrador, Brando. From making first contact with them a few months ago, to collecting Brando last week, the team were so helpful in guiding us through the process, explaining how the program would work and updating us on his progress. They are clearly so passionate and knowledgeable about dogs and dog training and we are so thrilled with his improvement in behaviour, especially loose lead walking. The regular video updates were such a joy to receive, as understandably, we missed him greatly and this was a lovely chance to see him in action and observe his weekly progress.
