Awesome experience. The music and the singers were great. They treated us with port wine as well.

Came here to watch the Fado show. It was a great event! It was my first time and I love this performance. Singing was spot-on, and the musicians were cool.

Great show, good value and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this as part of your Porto experience. The complimentary port was most welcome.

After having attended a Fado + dinner in Lisbon, and a student Fado in Coimbra, this performance and the venue were by far my favorite. The musicians and singers were excellent, and by all appearances enjoyed what they were doing. The acoustics in the smallish space accentuated the performances.

We were 4 adults who attended the show and we liked it very much. There are 4 musicians and 2 singers that replace each other after several songs. The only thing I missed is an explanation about songs background and a bit of history about fado. The show itself lasts 50 minutes + 10 minutes break for port wine. The venue is not available for people with mobility issues, as the show happens on 2nd floor without elevator. Otherwise location is very good. You can reserve your ticket via booking.com and receive discount depending on your genius level there.

The performance space reminds me of the apse in a church. I was so drawn into the experience, as were all others around me. This was an intimate venue. The perfect place to feel Fado. And the bonus is that it's on a street with gorgeous views and easy proximity to other amazing things to see and do in Porto.

🇺🇸My introduction to fado was in a dark bar/ restaurant. It immediately resonated as the blues of Portugal. Similar to the blues in the USA, fado is deeply felt sad, melancholy and reflective. Watching at this venue was more of a tourist experience. However as such it’s a perfect venue to bring everyone young and old. The sound and stage mimics a lounge or restaurant in the dim lighting and overall atmosphere. But all the seats are set up theatre style and the performers stand on stage vs meandering into the room while they sing. But reasonably priced, and you get a bit of wine at intermission. The steps up to the venue are uneven and steep so make sure to help those less mobile up and down. 🇵🇹 A minha introdução ao fado foi num bar/restaurante escuro. Imediatamente ressoou como o blues de Portugal. Semelhante ao blues nos EUA, o fado é profundamente triste, melancólico e reflexivo. Assistir a este espetáculo foi mais uma experiência turística. No entanto, como tal, é um local perfeito para reunir todos, jovens e velhos. O som e o palco imitam um lounge ou um restaurante, com uma iluminação fraca e uma atmosfera geral. Mas todos os lugares estão dispostos em estilo de teatro e os artistas ficam em pé no palco, em vez de entrarem na sala enquanto cantam. Mas com preços razoáveis, e tem direito a um pouco de vinho no intervalo. Os degraus de acesso ao local são irregulares e íngremes, por isso certifique-se de que ajuda os menos móveis a subir e a descer.

Espetáculo de Fado incrível! Recomendo e penso repetir, sem dúvida! Grandes cantores o Miguel e a Rita 👏🏽
