Lo mejor del viaje a fuerteventura, tamer es un excelente profesor, el equipo es de primera y habia un buen rollo increible, sin duda una actividad que no te puedes perder en fuerteventura, muy recomendable.

Si quieres aprender y mejorar tu surf confia en Tamer. Lo difícil lo hace fácil y divertido, explica muy bien, todo son facilidades para dar una clase, y ha sido muy productiva! Repetiré sin duda

I'm a 53 year-old non-sporty type who wanted to try surfing but assumed I would be too self-conscious and bad, and would only go as far as one terrible lesson. My main objective was to try to at least have some fun. I chose Poseidon based on 100% 5* reviews and comments relating to Tamer's approach. From the first minute of meeting, I was immediately put at ease. I didn't feel self-conscious or bad about my abilities at any point over the 6 lessons. Tamer has an upbeat, energetic, contagiously-enthusiastic style that keeps you going, even when you are tired. I found the whole experience very fun regardless of whether I was catching waves or falling off the board. Tamer understands waves. He set me up for success to the point that I stood up and caught a wave on my first attempt. This was amazing and great for motivation, especially as it got tougher as the lessons went on (as Tamer encouraged me to be more independent). I'm a very cautious type, I believe Tamer would tailor the lesson and style to student personality and needs. Where there are problems, Tamer comes up with solutions/alternatives to try. On a general level, Tamer was punctual, very professional, and easy to chat to. We surfed where there were few other people and the surf was conducive to catching waves. Tamer also took a lot of photos and videos which were fun and useful for memories/sharing but also vital for improving technique (for instance, I could not have guessed that my posture was so bent over!). I was not planning to go back to Fuerte but cannot imagine taking lessons with anyone else. For everyone, including those who want to try surfing but might be hesitant like I was, I would definitely recommend Tamer/Poseidon. Many thanks to Tamer for making my experience so positive!

Der Surfunterricht bei Tamer war ein Highlight unseres Urlaubs! Meine Schwester und ich hatten sehr viel Spaß und werden im nächsten Urlaub definitiv wiederkommen. Tamer ist auch ein super Surflehrer bei dem man viel lernt und es trotzdem immer lustig wird. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal, diese Surfschule ist definitiv weiterzuempfehlen 👍

As someone who has never touched a surfboard before, to being able to pop up and actually catch a wave on my 4th day, I can safely say it is because Tamer is such a great teacher! He made sure I felt safe as I was worried about getting injured, and gave me direction on how to improve my skills consistently. He also explained the theory behind surfing really well and always worked this into his practical teaching in the water. Really enjoyed my time with Poisedon Surf Academy and would definitely come back! He also gets the best photos and videos on his go Pro!

I've spent some days in Fuerteventura and I've wondered to have a surf lesson during my trip along the island. Searching on website, I've founded and contacted "The Poseidon Surf Academy" and it was the best choice. Tamer is an excellent teacher who knows the best way to improve your surfing skills. Furthermore, his teaching is really friendly and the lesson is easier than it could be thought. If you are finding a good time to learn and enjoy surf in Fuerteventura, you cannot miss this opportunity. Thank you, Tamer!

Tenía la idea de hacer surf en Corralejo y me hablaron muy bien de Tamer. Es un profesor de surf que te da las lecciones justas para saber qué tienes que hacer para ponerte de pie encima de la tabla, sin demasiado rollo. En mi primera clase conseguí surfear muchas más olas de las que pensaba. Y además con las fotos y vídeos tengo claro qué tengo que corregir para hacerlo mejor, además de un bonito recuerdo. Nunca pensé que podía aprender a hacer surf tan rápido.

My experience with Poseidon Surf Academy, precisely with the owner and instructor Tamer, was great. It was my absolute first time surfing and I had a great time. Tamer was very professional from the time I contacted him. He cares about quality and recommends the right time and spot to provide the students with good conditions for their level (ex. right size of waves, tide, smaller crowds). I took a group lesson (we were 4 students). Tamer was funny and engaging. Once in the water, he guided us through it and simultaneously recorded gopro pictures and videos, which also help, as the students are rarely aware of their body position and movements during action. Tamer was also so kind to let my small kids get a taste of surfing. He also gave my husband and kids an umbrella to make them more comfortable on the beach of the surf spot. I highly recommend Tamer's surf school and will certainly go back if again in the area!

Tamer ha sido muy atento los tres días de clases con él; antes, después y durante las clases nos ha dado mucha confianza y además lo hemos pasado genial. Lo recomiendo 100% si queréis mejorar en el surf porque es muy didáctico y elige muy bien los lugares para surfear (poca gente y en un entorno precioso). Ojalá mas profesores como él.

Ha ido todo genial! Hemos aprendido mucho y también nos hemos reído un montón. Tamer es muy buen profe. Totalmente recomendable.

Las cinco estrellas las doy por las aspectos normales que buscaba en unas clases de surf, es decir seriedad, puntualidad, atención muy personalizada, saber transmitir el conocimiento, etc. Pero me falta un sitio para poner 6 estrellas!!! por su actitud super positiva, divertida y cercana. Tamer es un crack, recomiendo al 100%

Come racconterei la mia esperienza alla Poseidon Surf Academy? Comincerei dicendo che con il suo carisma, la sua energia e tanta attenzione, Tamer è riuscito a rendere accattivante ogni lezione di surf: io e la mia ragazza ne abbiamo fatte quattro e ci siamo sentiti incoraggiati ed accompagnati in ogni momento (anche perché l’organizzazione prevedeva dei gruppi molto piccoli, 2-4 persone, per cui ognuno veniva seguito in base al proprio livello. È stata molto carina ed utile anche l’idea di Tamer di scattare foto e registrare video, certamente per avere dei ricordi, ma anche per poterli riguardare e capire insieme come migliorarsi. In definitiva, consiglierei sicuramente questa scuola di surf, per l’organizzazione, la cura e l’attenzione che viene impiegata, ma soprattutto perché la passione e l’entusiasmo di Tamer sono così contagiosi che sanno farti innamorare di questo sport, come di quest’isola. Tamer ist für unseren Surflehrer eingesprungen und hat das sehr gut gemacht. Er gab gute theoretische Inputs und hat einem im Wasser sehr motiviert und gezielte Rückmeldungen gegeben. Wir würden wieder zu ihm in den Surfkurs gehen.

A great example for many other surfing schools! Tamer is not only the best in the island, but he is the best surf teacher I had all around the world! He’s super friendly and energetic, yet really professional. I had the best time with lots of laughs as he would make any challenge easy & fun! Small groups and hyper focus on each student’s personal progress! He’s a true superman who makes pictures & videos while teaching and surfing, to record the moments of lessons for observation and continuous improvement! Definitely a highlight of my trip to Fuerteventura and unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!

I almost don’t want to review Poseidon so I can keep coming back to take lessons with Tamer. He’s really professional, can teach at any level and does extensive documentation so you can see how and where to improve. If I lived here I’d hire him to train me so I could excel with all the right adjustments and his positive attitude. I wouldn’t hesitate- probably the best on the island.

Increeible experience! After a few lessons I managed to get up on my board and catch waves on my own. Tamer is a really good teacher, the lessons are in small groups, you feel safe, he gives very good advice and the lessons are fun! I definitely recommend lessons with Tamer :)
