This was our 6th or 7th time at Prospect Hill. We absolutely love staying there. Jim and T are wonderful. We always travel with our dogs and the inn is very pet friendly. Breakfast delivered to our cottage was delicious. The atmosphere wonderful. It's a very romantic getaway. We always feel so relaxed when there. A 5* experience.

My husband and I have celebrated 3 anniversaries at Prospect Hill our 40th,67 and 68. Our visit December 14 and 15, 2024 was wonderful. All decorated for Christmas. Our cottage had several lit trees. I would recommend if you can plan your trip for a Saturday night, having dinner. Jim will prepare you a meal that is such a treat. T is the host with the most. I am looking forward to the summer when their gardens are in bloom and the pool is open for our next visit.

The Prospect Hill Inn is the role model for what a great country Inn can be! You can believe all the reviews about how awesome the inn is. Jim and Tee are the most joyful, meticulous, delightful and dedicated innkeepers we've ever stayed with. In early October my wife and I were part of a party of about 20 people who stayed over a weekend to celebrate a big birthday of a dear friend. We had a fantastic time! Tee and Jim were charming, cheerful, tireless, informative, careful and accomplished with all of the arrangements, housekeeping, meal preparation and service and special requests during the three days. The Inn and the grounds are as beautiful as everyone says. Just the loveliest, wooded, quiet country setting you can imagine. But the real magic originates with Tee and Jim who are truly remarkable people. They bought the Prospect Hill Inn about 2 years ago with the idea of creating the country inn of their dreams. They are well down that path. We deeply appreciate their vision, genuine warmth, and enthusiastic and skillful inn keeping -- all of which makes the Prospect Inn a very special place.

The owners are wonderful, the rooms are beautiful, and cozy. The service was excellent with T and her husband going above and beyond for my husband and I's honeymoon stay. The food was so good and the complimentary cookies may have changed my life. The whole experience and property is private and quiet and peaceful, exactly what you need for a getaway! Hotels are nothing in comparison!

Outstanding jam hidden away in Louisa Virginia. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing. Breakfast was always full of wonderful treats along with excellent food. The Saturday night dinner is worth every cent and more. T was wonderful, Kind and engaging. We stayed in the main hotel in the room was charming and very comfortable. Plan to go back again and spend another wonderful weekend at the prospect Inn.

An experience I couldn’t replicate anywhere else. T and Jim are beautiful humans and they really make you feel like you’re family. The coffee is amazing, too!

We were in the area for a wedding in Charlottesville. Prospect Hill was perfectly located which gave us a bit of relaxing down time during an otherwise busy few days. The room was very comfortable, warm and cozy on those chilly nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and our time chatting with our hosts. We definitely plan to stay at Prospect Hill again when next we visit the area.

This was our first trip to the area and Prospect Hill Inn. What a wonderful, charming, and relaxing experience! The proprietors Jim & T were off the charts accommodating. Every aspect of the Inn, from the food and beverage to the details in the cabins was superb. If you are looking for quality and character, look no further. I highly recommend this B&B and will absolutely be heading back.

Jim and T are the absolute best hosts. The property is beautiful and everything is immaculate. Jim is an incredible cook and baker. The accommodations maintain their historic charm while providing all the modern comforts. We love it here and look forward to visiting many times in the future. If you're traveling through or just looking to get away and enjoy a historic property and an incredible meal, I cannot recommend this place enough. If you have dinner plans elsewhere, cancel them and eat at the Inn. It truly is a treat!

What a lovely and cozy place! My husband and I recently enjoyed a birthday trip to explore the nearby wineries and some historical landmarks. Being from a congested and busy place (Fort Lauderdale, FL), we knew we wanted somewhere relaxing and of course, some fall weather that we don't get back home! Prospect Hill Inn over delivered! We enjoyed four nights there and stayed in the Thompson room, which was so comfortable and spacious. The bedding and mattress were amazing and I slept so well which is typically not the case when traveling. I loved admiring all the decorative details and antique finds throughout the home. We took part in breakfast each morning, the Saturday night dinner, and ordered a picnic lunch one of the days. Everything was delicious and fresh and included a great variety while sticking to seasonal dishes. Jim and T are helpful, kind, and readily available to make your experience wonderful from start to finish. It can't be easy to run a place as historic and large as this but they handle everything with such finesse and ease. The inn is surrounded by lots of seating areas and wide open spaces that are tranquil and peaceful. I was sad to leave but looking forward to a future visit!

We just spent the weekend at this beautiful property and already can’t wait to come back. The inn itself is full of charm, with cozy rooms and thoughtful finishing touches. Jim & T are gracious hosts and make you feel at home. Every morning Jim cooks tasty breakfasts and bakes even more amazing cookies. It was welcome weekend away.

Very gracious hosts, a perfect breakfast, historical rooms, a location that feels away from it all but is actually very convenient to everything around...very much enjoyed the stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The grounds were beautiful, our room was cozy, the service was amazing! I highly recommended adding the breakfast and dinner to your stay. My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely Inn. Set in the peaceful countryside, our historic cottage had all the amenities needed for the perfect weekend getaway. The weather was beautiful to enjoy the rocking chairs on the cute front porch. The owners, Jim & Terenee, were very welcoming and truly love what they do. We highly recommend a stay at this historic Inn!

Jim and T were exceptional hosts. the rooms were spacious and clean with excellent decor. The meals that Jim prepared were beyond comparison. No detail for comfort was overlooked from the blankets at the fire pit to the comfy mattress. We will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Prospect Hill! From the moment we arrived, T was a gracious host. She went above and beyond! Our cabin was cozy and clean, and they even decorated with birthday balloons. The breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. We also loved meeting the sweet dogs! Definitely would recommend!

My husband and I just visited Prospect Hill. It was such a great visit.We loved our cozy room and the food was amazing! Kudos to the chef who prepared an amazing dinner for us on a Sat night. Breakfast was also wonderful. Grounds were beautiful and our host “T” was very welcoming and helpful. We will return for sure.

We stayed in one of the cottages and everything was perfect! The breakfasts were delicious, great service, beautiful accommodations and very kind hosts. We had our wedding there and they made it such a special day. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

Prospect Hill was even more than expected. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, set back off a country road with lots of trees. You’ll love sunset! My room and bed were comfortable. Terenee is an excellent, thoughtful hostess. She was always around for any questions or anything you might need. Breakfast each morning was delicious. I enjoyed having the sweet dogs around. They also had lots of little amenities like wine, coffee, snacks, sodas, and treats. Would definitely return!
