Booked a shore excursion from Cannes. Worked with Franck to develop plan, he was great. Went back forth on lunch restaurant many times but he was patient and delivered very good option. Peter was our driver and was right there coming off tender. It seemed he knew everything about Cannes, Antibes, Nice, and Eze. We did a driving tour of most by our choice. Peter understood what we were in mood for after an hour and easily adapted schedule. Had a great lunch at a locals restaurant. Back to the ship in plenty of time. Thank you Peter and Franck!

We were collected by Penny with a comfortable mini van and she took us from Cannes to to Nice, Eze, Monaco and Saint Paul de Vence. What an amazing experience! Penny is fluent in English and we had a very good informative and animated tour and I would recommend her anytime for family groups.

We spent a wonderful day with Peggy. She took us from the port in Cannes, through Nice, to Eze and Monaco. Peggy has a great sense of humour and shared great stories and information. Peggy’s English is perfect and she’s very accommodating. The sites were gorgeous and we highly recommend a tour with Peggy and Provence Riviera Tours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Philippe. He was wonderful! We told him that we were not terribly interested in Monaco or Monte-Carlo. So, instead we had some time in Nice at the market (which was lovely), and we went to both Eze and Saint Paul de Vence. It was the perfect tour for us. We just loved the medieval towns. He was knowledgeable and pointed out many sights to us. Also, in Cannes, he drove us along La Croisette where we saw some gorgeous luxury cars (my teenage boys loved that!). I highly recommend Provence Riviera Tours and Philippe.

We booked a tour with Provence Riviera tours many months in advance of our visit. Their response to our e-mails were always quick and helpful and they put together a day tour for us to suit our preferences. We were met at the cruise ship terminal in Cannes and visited Antibes, Nice, Eze & St Paul de Vence. A very full day but our driver Phillipe was great and provided us with enough information without saturating us with facts. He managed to drive us extremely close to the villages and places we were to visit and stopped regularly for us to take pictures of the stunning sea views the drive afforded. We altered the itinerary slightly during the trip to take in Eze instead of Mougins and this presented no problem for Phillipe who was more than happy to meet our personal preferences. Altogether a great day and we would have no hesitation in using the company again and recommending them to our friends. A brilliant company to work with.

Fantastic if you only have a day. We did this tour as part of a cruise. our guide waited for us with a sign and took us to Nice, Eze , Monaco , Monte Carlo and back. We really loved it. We learnt lots, he was well spoken and didn't try to force anything on us.

Our cruise ship arrives in Cannes and Bernardo and Philip were waiting for our group. Because of the size of our group we needed two cars, 6 in each. Our day consisted of a tour of Nice, Eze, Monaco and Monte-Carlo and what a great day it was. I even won at the Monte Carlo casino. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and personable. In mid September 2017, our group of 3 has the pleasure of touring Nice, Monaco, and Monte Carlo with Philip (driver guide). Philip was courteous, personable, and knowledgeable about all of the areas visited. He provided us with ample guidance to tour the cities with confidence,. The private van was recent, clean, and comfortable. When it began ti rain during our visit to Monte Carlo, Philip was quick to provide us with multiple umbrellas to use. Our group had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend Provence Riviera Tours to future travelers.

Philip was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. He allowed my husband and I to see so much of the French Riviera and Monaco. This was a highlight of our trip. Email communication was perfect and all logistics handled flawlessly. Peggy was highly knowledgeable of the region, funny, and a fantastic driver (navigating tight curves and making sure we didn't miss the last tender)! She made it easy for us with our 8 month old baby coming along. Would recommend this to anyone - it especially makes sense coming off a cruise when you have limited time and so much to see and do in the region. Book with Peggy! We took a shore excursion with Provence Riviera Private Day Tours on June 30th. Communication via email was excellent form the beginning as there were quick replies and answers to my many questions regarding itinerary and payment. Let me start by saying something unrelated to this tour company, we were on a cruise with the Norwegian Epic and had to take the TENDER into port... this ended up taking 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to shore (to be fair we had no tender reservation) so we ended up being late by 25 minutes to meet the guide... so if you are a cruiser keep that in mind. When we finally made it ashore, we were met by Calin who was waiting for us with a sign and was understanding. He is very friendly and professional and is a very good conversationalist with excellent English. His vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable for our family of three. He took us on an all day tour to Monaco/Monte Carlo, Eze, St. Paul D”Vence and a beautiful drive along the coast. Understanding the traffic patterns of the day and location we able to maximize our time even though we started late. We were able to bypass a lot of traffic by visiting Monaco and Monte Carlo first then moved on to Eze were he recommended we have lunch to maximize time then on to St. Paul D’Vence. By combining the visit at Eze with a quick lunch, at Calin’s recommendation, we really did not lose much time by being late.While enroute to each location he was able to give some interesting information on each location. He was always very prompt at the appointed meeting times and places. The route that he chose to drive along the coast was beautiful and memorable. He returned us back to port on time with no worries of missing the ship. We were very pleased with his services and professionalism and would recommend him to anyone and if we were to visit the area again would ask for him again. Thank you Calin for a great tour. Also, I can recommend this company, along with many other reviewers. Provence tours is very experienced and informed us that tenders would be dropping us off to the port, so they knew what hours to best start the tour. Not even the cruise ship informs you in advance. Peggy welcomed us with a sign,and was such a great driver around those small curves in a big van. She is very knowledgeable about the people and history of the french Rivieria. Most importantly, she has a great sense of humor which is vrucial to the experience when you spend hours with a driver. We were able to see the market in old town nice which was a great place. It would have never been on my list but it was a great suggestion and so happy we did. The smell from the flowers in the market was intoxicatingly delicious. We were able to visit Eze, Monanco, and Montecarlo. After a 6 hour tour, we still had a few hours to lay on the beach of Cannes before going back to the cruise ship.

The company had advised us to reserve the tender as soon as we got on the ship--which we did. We we're in boarding group D, which was called around 8:00am. By time we lined up, disembarked the ship, took the tender and exited in France it was about an hour, so we were able to meet Philippe on time at 9:00am. We headed to Nice first...he warned us about the tons of traffic due to the new construction of a bike lane and safety wall as a result of the terror incident in July 2016. Great stops with views on the far side of Nice and good commentary from Philippe about that area being originally part of Italy, then traded to France. You could see the War memorial (both WWI & WWII). Then over the hill to see the lovely harbor at VilleFrance. Went up to the castle at Eze, then headed over to Monaco (including the place where Princess Grace & Stephanie had their accident). Spent about an hour to walk by ourselves...pictures, the church where Princess Grace was married and buried, the Prison with 5-star views. Then off to the Monte Carlo Casino and a the Grand Prix loop. Philippe has young twins so he was able to keep our boys engaged. Would definitely recommend this tour!

We were on a Med cruise and I contacted Franck pretty late...only 3 weeks prior to arrival and lucky for us he still had one vehicle available for a party of 5. We were late 30 min getting into port due to the late tender but our guide/driver Peggy was still there when we got in. We booked the 7-hour Cannes-Nice-Eze-Monaco tour. Very busy itinerary. Peggy was just fantastic - very funny, taught us a bunch of French, and kept us on schedule without rushing us. Eze was the best, and honestly if you've never visited Monaco, then worth the extra time. In retrospect, we should have just spent more time in Nice and Eze.

I will echo many of the other reviewers in saying that Provence Riviera Tours provided an excellent experience. Organizing the tour itself was smooth and easy with Franck. All my questions were answered and communication was prompt. We did the 5 hour Cannes-Nice-Monaco-Monte Carlo tour and it was perfect! We feel very lucky and appreciative to Peggy our tour guide. She was on time, knowledgeable, funny and provided us great information to all the sites. I would highly recommend Provence Riviera Tours. Thank you

This was the first time I booked an excursion for a cruise not through the cruise line. The cost was much less and we were able to see so much more. The only thing I would recommend finding out is if you will need a tender to get to port be this toon is 1.5 hours to get off the ship and were late for our pickup and needed to pay more to extend the day. Our driver Calin picked us up in a nice sedan that fit the four of us. He took us through Nice,Monaco and Monte Carlo where we had lunch near the Casino from the James Bond movie. It cost $200 for the 4 of us but there weren't a lot of options on places to eat. We also drove on the course for the Formula One track. Would highly recommend booking through them.
