Literally 1 minute drive from the best medical professionals and hospital. Do not be deceived, no need to climb stairs. Absolutely wonderful stay. Particularly loved the private balcony overlooking the beautiful lush gardens, and swimming pool, peaceful and quiet, the only sounds to be heard are the chirping of birds. Thoughtful and kind hosts, excellently hygienic, very secure, definitely my only future “home from home” destination.

Very pleasant stay! Everything were excellent, the staff were friendly and very good! Rentia and Pieter are very good hosts and we enjoyed our stay very much. The house and the garden is beautiful, we love the scenery of the place! It is highly reccomended!

Tranquility The guest house is in a quiet residential area as you drive toward Leisure Isle. All the rooms have a private porch overlooking the large indigenous garden. My only regret is that we only stayed one night.

Great! We will certainly come back The lodge is located in a quiet road, few minutes away from the center of Knysna, very close to a golf course. We booked two rooms, both very clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. Our host was extemelly welcoming and friendly, recomending places to visit and restaurants (there is a nice restaurant in the area, and you can also visit the waterfront with plenty of options). Breakfast is very good, staff is also friendly. There is enough parking space, a braai (barbecue) area near the pool, a shared fridge for your drinks. Lastly, an important topic if you plan a trip to South Africa: the lodge has solar power, so no worries about load shedding.

The perfect hostess Rensia was the perfect hostess looking after our requirements very well. The breakfast was excellent and every effort was made to provide a selection of food on the balcony overlooking the lovely garden full of interesting plants and trees.

Great stay, relaxing and calm Been there for five days but could have stayed longer because it‘s so nice. Fine, clean rooms with a view to the beautiful garden and pool. The hosts looked after us and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Knysna and the lagoon is a very charming place with a lot of things to do. I‘d come back without hesitation even as we are 10.000 km apart.

Nice room overlooking the garden and pool, a short drive from the Knysna highlights Rensia met us upon arrival and showed us to our room - the B&B rooms all have balconies that overlook the garden and swimming pool, and are great for relaxing and bird watching. Plenty of parking space within the gated compound. Downtown Knysna and Thesen Harbour Town are a few minutes drive away, as is the viewpoint out over The Heads. Great location. Great full breakfast.

Comfy, clean and personal service :) I live in the UK, but grew up in South Africa so visit there every few years to see my folks. I have stayed in Pumula Lodge 3 times now, on various trips and always find it a great experience. The B&B is run by a super husband and wife team who take very good care of you and the property. Nowadays that is a rarity, where everything has become so impersonal. The rooms are comfy and have everything you need, each room overlooks their lovely garden where you can spot knysna lourie's. The outdoor area has a nice pool and relaxation area, with the space to do a bbq or braai if you want to. Defo a great place to stay if you in Knysna or passing through.

friendly, comfy and green Great room with a very comfortable bed and a cute balkony overlooking the wonderful garden. Rensia and her team are absolutely gorgeous and very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here. The house lies in a residential area a bit out of the city centre.

A little paradise in a quite residential area We were warmly welcomed by the owners Rensia & Pieter from where we were shown to our comfortable spacious room. All the amenities is what you would expect from a 4 star establishment. We appreciated the comfortable bed, block out curtains and plush towels. Each room does have its own covered outside deck area with a lovely view of the lush, mostly indigenous garden to our delight, attracting many birds. They offer a “light Self Catering” area in a shared kitchen area with fridge, microwave, cutlery & crockery. On arrangement barbeque facilities are available in the Lapa area. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. Because of our lovely deck we opted not to go out and ordered a light snacks & wine to be delivered while enjoying the sunset from the comfort of our room. We enjoyed a lovely continental & cooked breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. This is a small property with 5 rooms ideal for couples, friends and family traveling together.

Friendly. Awesome I spent two nights at PUMULA Lodge. Loved every moment a peaceful nights rest. The owners are incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The gardens are lovely and even had an early morning encounter with the famous knysna Loerie. If you want a relaxed quiet place to rest. This is the lodge for you! Rose Grootboom 15 Oct 2022
