Our 150lb Saint Bernard loves pup club for daycare and recently just had her first groom by Shane. She is not an easy dog to groom and he did a really great job - everyone who pets her has noted how shiny and soft she is :)

Grooming 5 stars. Puppy playcare 2.5 stars. Will be back for grooming, not for daycare. Website offers snuggle time and walks. We got neither of these and I had to narc the whole time on the camera and called to ask for someone to walk my pup. Which lasted for 75 seconds, no exaggeration. For $65, this was a complete waste of time and money! Grooming however went well - first time with Anderson and they were so great and supportive! Highly recommend.

When we adopted our puppy, we were overwhelmed by what we initially thought was a "fear period" and didn’t know where to turn. Reaching out to PUPs was the best decision we made, and we were lucky to be matched with Ryan, the director of training. He went above and beyond, meeting with us for a consultation just days later and taking the time to understand our routine and observe our pup. Ryan gave us the hard truth: it wasn’t the dog—it was us! With his guidance, we learned how to better support our puppy, who was actually just overstimulated and in a new environment. In just three sessions, we’ve seen incredible progress—our pup is like a new dog! Ryan taught us the fundamentals of loose-leash walking, various exercises to help cope with overstimulating environments, and gave us practical tips to adjust our routine to meet our training goals. If you’re looking for personalized dog training, I can’t recommend Ryan enough. Thank you, Ryan, from both us and "your boy," Ripley! We’re all looking forward to more sessions in the future!

Our 9mo golden retriever Pup, Bailey loves Pup’s Pet Club & their staff! Always take great care of our girl and provide updates, pictures, and a fun report card with each visit. Access to their webcam is always entertaining and good for some laughs (even though the $5 is a little annoying 🥺). Their trainer Chrissy worked with Bailey when she was a puppy and it was money very well spent! Taught us several VERY key lessons & hacks (like using an emergency recall word that works every time!).

My fiance and I arrived with Paddington (puppy) promptly at 10:15am for our scheduled 10:30am appointment, as the site indicated we would be having a consult with the groomer prior to services being provided. As indicated at the time of booking, we intended to have our 5 month old doodle pup washed and trimmed, and this would be his first professional groom. The associate at the front desk indicated that the groomer was running late, but suggested that we could leave our puppy there if we knew what we wanted in terms of styling. We opted not to leave our puppy, as we were already anticipating with a first time pup, he may be nervous. We weren't told how long the groomer may be arriving late, so we decided to run a quick errand and return within 10 minutes.  Once we returned, the associate advised that she had been in contact with the groomer, and they would be arriving closer to 11:30am- an hour after our scheduled appointment time because they had personal issues with their residential building and personal pet. Odd- was our first thought that this information was shared, as it was our first time meeting and we were already turned off by groomer's tardiness, but we had already arrived and wanted to get our pup's first visit out the way. We returned promptly at 11:30am and this is when the CIRCUS began.  The groomer was there when we walked in, and appeared to have labored breathing from what we assumed was him runnning in just before our arrival. He asked what we wanted - we stated this was our pup's first time, so we weren't sure which is why we waited to have the consult. We did indicate a bath and slight trim, nail clip were the main points and would be ok if he didn't get a full cut depending on how well he did since it was his first time.  The groomer rambled about how the people in his apartment building let out 2 of his 3 dogs, told us it was his last day working there, complained his commute was over 40 minutes, and then finally got on back on track with the purpose of our visit. He stated he would brush our dog and see how far he may get which would determine what services we could have. Again, completely thrown off by the lack of professionalism, my fiance and I attempted to remain optimistic and proceeded to give him our main puppy points- including this is his first groom, he is motivated by treats, and may be nervous but does well with other pups/people at parks and doctors visits etc.  He is bathed once a week at home and is used to home hair dryers. We agree to proceed with service- the groomer said he will "see what he can do" and would call us for an update. 13 minutes after we left, the groomer called, indicated that our dog didn't like the back room or the crate he was thrown in, said he attempted to brush him but really didn't see a point to continue because our puppy didn't take well to the stimulus and we should simply opt to take him to a vet because he would likely do better under some type of nerve calming meds.  To be exact, he made a joke "everyone could use a vallium." We rushed back and our pup was sitting in the front with the groomer behaving as normal. The groomer explained he was good in the front, but became nervous when he was taken to the back and didn't like the crate.  Well that's not really surprising since we indicated 9 times it was his first time and he's 5 months old. Summary: Pups South loop lacks professionalism and respect for their customer's time or the needs of the animals they work with.  This is a major training opportunity. First time puppies and parents need patience. Personal matters should be left out of the conversation if they are not related to your services. The groomer immediately announcing that it was his last day should have been the final red flag. We will not be returning which is unfortunate since we live just 6 blocks away, however we rather pay to travel to another neighborhood to avoid bad service.

This review is for Sebastian- for grooming. He groomed my 10lb toy/mini poodle Scotch and could not have done a better job. Listened to the specifics we wanted and the cut started and has grown out perfectly. Thank you Sebastian!

I boarded my puppy for two days. She came back smelling like urine, her legs were stained yellow, and filthy. We had to bath her twice just to get rid of her smell. I asked for the charge to be made to a specific credit card, but they put in on a wrong card. I asked this to be resolved and for a recipe. They still haven’t sent me anything and it’s been 5 days. No refund were made on the card used for the payment. I called and they said they refunded it as a store credit. What a joke. Still trying to resolve this issue. I would not recommend their service.

Where to begin! Apollo our rottsky has extremely bad separation anxiety and we found pups because we had no other options left. It was the best choice we ever made. The daycare attendants are incredible and love your dog like it’s their own especially Amber!! Jenn is also amazing and made pups feel like a second home. I always trusted leaving Apollo there. They also do fun photo shoots throughout the year and it’s so cute to see all the other dogs! We will miss the pups community but when we come back to visit this is where Apollo will be! I want to say thank you to everyone who took care of Apollo. He loves you all and will see you again soon.

If you were looking to take your dog here for daycare, don’t. Their website and fancy facade is a sham. Please learn from my mistakes and go elsewhere. - Your dog will ignored by college students who sit on their phone the entire time. - The employees that you communicate with via email and phone will not express the concerns you have for your dog to the employees ***who actually watch and touch your dog*** - dogs are never taken outside, ever. - if your dog is harassed, it will be put in a kennel. - If you share your concerns to the General Manager, she will tell you that you “should have told the front desk” and block your email from further communication. To any concerned dog owner, I hope this helps.

They accommodated us same day but took off way more hair than I requested, especially around his anus and face. His nails were also trimmed uncomfortably short.

Don’t bring your puppy/dog here for daycare. They will discuss with you and agree straight to your face that your 25lb puppy is going in the small dog room, and then throw them in the big dog room with 50-80lb dogs and tell you it’s because they have “so much energy”. How they made an assessment of my dog (who was going here for very first time) within 30 seconds of me leaving is beyond me. Luckily I had camera access and immediately turned around, walked right back in and corrected them, pointing out that on the phone and just 1 minute earlier, they agreed to put her in the small dog room. My dog could have been seriously hurt and I could see she was terrified as 10 big dogs swarmed her to get a sniff. Clearly no one was even paying attention to how overwhelming that was for her and intervened. I’ve seen on camera both rooms full of dogs with one person watching both with their back turned for prolonged periods of time. Sometimes they are in the other room entirely with 25 dogs alone in the other room. How is one person who isn’t even paying attention supposed to intervene if a fight breaks out? Having that many dogs alone in a room together with one person is downright dangerous.

Pups pet club uses a neighborhood park as a dog run, which has transformed a community green space into a park full of dogs that are running off leash and pooping everywhere. I have the displeasure of living within a block of this location and since it has opened the streets around me are consistently smeared with dog poop from dog walkers bringing sick dogs to poop all over my neighborhood. Dogs are walked by people that seem to have little to no experience walking dogs, as they are pulled around the neighborhood by dog walkers, further reinforcing the dog's pulling behavior.

It’s normally good to take my dog to daycare. Sometimes my dog doesn’t eat in the morning and I take what he doesn’t eat with me to daycare. They’ve taken the food every time until today when I was told that they don’t do feedings for daycare. So what about all the other times?? I’m not coming back after the next ten weeks are up because my dog is already skinny enough. He at least eats when I leave him at home in his playpen. Edit: docking another star because I stupidly thought maybe their grooming would be okay. My wedding is in 3 weeks and they cut off years of maintenance on his ears and tail. Now he’s not going to have his beautiful long ears and feather duster for my wedding. Thanks for that. On top of that, it was 110$. When you go to a hair dresser they ask how much you want to cut off because you don’t cut hair growth like that without asking. I said half off the body not ears and tail. 10 weeks are up and I’m never coming back again

Hi Sabrina, thank you for bringing this to our attention! I'm so sorry if there was any miscommunication in the past about our policy to not offer feedings during daycare. I truly apologize if that was not relayed to you right away, as it should have been. We would love to see Raphael in daycare again soon, so please reach out if there's anything we can do to make it up to you. Thank you!
