We had the most amazing time and tour at Riara Tea Farm! Eric was our tour guide and him and his driver and phenomenal! The family is so lovely, Grace and her dad did an amazing job sharing the entire tea making process with us! Even if you’re not a tea lover, this is such a wonderful experience not too far outside of Nairobi!

Very nice and informative private tour, we tried a few lovely teas. The tour of the farm was interesting and engaging with very friendly guides, a lovely place to explore and talk to people while immersing yourself in the beautiful scenery.

Une superbe expérience, avec des explications très complètes sur le fonctionnement d'une ferme de thé. Le tour commence avec une dégustation de thé produit à la ferme, qui était vraiment excellent ! Il y a ensuite un tour et des explications par le fermier qui y travaille depuis plusieurs années. Les explications sont très claires et le fermier très gentil, nous avons vraiment apprécié cette visite que nous conseillons vivement ! Possibilité d'achat de thé à la fin de la visite. De plus, le cadre est magnifique.

I enjoyed my tour of the farm. Kinyenje and his staff were very welcoming and made sure to explain the whole tea process to us. I am happy that I visited and will visit again when I’m back in Kenya. It was an inspiring experience that I’m grateful for. The views from the farm are exceptional. I fell in love with his farm.

The trip has really made me appreciate my cup of tea everyday. Riara tea plantation/ farm is a lovely place. Always wanted to see tea plantation. The hosts were generous. We were treated with pancakes and tea on our arrival. Grace and John the father daughter duo went in length to explain the complete process of growing tea.they showed us the farm and told us stories and history of not just the farm but the owners, town and other plantations. Loved the whole experience.

We had booked a last minute request to Riara Team farm for a tour and they had pleasantly accepted and arranged it for us. The place is so beautiful, it seems right out of a movie with acres of tea Fram and lush greenery spread across.
As we arrived they had welcomed us with hot tea and fresh pancakes. Miss Grace and her dad accompanied us for the tour and explained the whole tea plantation process in detail followed by spending as much time as we wanted in the Fram and picking some fresh tea leaves. This is one of the unforgettable experience and must visit while you are in Nairobi.

10/10 would recommend a visit to Riara Tea farm. I took my family of 5 there for the experience. We were greeted and welcomed very kindly. We started with the history of the family, farm and company which personally was my favorite part. Taking a tour with the farmers through the nursery and fields and learning the journey tea takes before it makes on the shopping shelves or our tea cups was very educational. The tour guide also added interesting, cultural values of the land and nature surrounding their farm. You'll get more than you expect from this tour. Visit if you have the chance to!!
